You can't pay from Nigeria even if you have the card details of a foreign account. They use the IP address of your internet to know what country you are applying from. To get mine I got someone in the US to apply for me under Third Party Application. You'll give the person all the details and colour scanned documents. You also have to write, sign and scan a letter of authorization certifying that you have given permission for the person to apply on your behalf. They also need a document where you have your signature. I guess they need it to compare it with the signature in the letter of authorization. Your intl passport will suffice for this. They process your application really fast as long as you give them all the required info and documents. At the point of paying I suggest you select the standard time for processing £55 (12 working days) and international courier £48 depending on how much time you have to submit your Application. This way you are sure about the post and you'll get it in time. I got mine within 2 weeks. I hope this helps.

Please my EE profile is still very new so I don't totally understand how it works. I updated my profile two days ago with hubby's ielts scores but until now my crs score hasn't changed and profile is showing 'update not submitted.' Am i missing something or do updates on your profile usually take this long.

Company B doesn’t mind giving me a reference letter for the entire duration. Company A only handled salaries but every other action including employee relations was handled by company B , hence my confusion.

Ok, I still think you should just use the name of the company that employed & paid you to avoid future complications but maybe someone that's been in this exact scenario can help

I was hired through a recruiting agency say A, and got employment letter from compay A, was seconded to company B, so I have work experience in company B, who should issue the reference letter as Employment letter could be requested on a later date?

Please note I was converted to direct headcount after one year with company B.

Total duration - Nov 2017 -August 2019 (1yr 9months) .

It would be sad if you merge everything and end up getting denied because something isn't looking right. Get reference letter from company A for the one year. Then get the 9months from company B too if you're claiming more than one year. Company B might even refused to give you reference letter for that first one year cuz most of these companies start count you as a fresh staff from the day they convert you.

At 31, with MSc and over 4 years work experience, my CRS score is 464.
If I had L8.5 and W7.5, my CRS score is 470.
Should I try applying for a remark on L and W?
Could you please advise on what I should do?

I don't think there's a point in remarking your listening since the score hardly changes. You can register again, practice better and max out ielts b4 your next birthday

I just received my IELTS results and I don't know how to feel
Listening- 9
Writing -7.5
Speaking- 7.5 (I am grateful for this because the speaking experience was a night mare. It was around 7pm on the test date and I was drained.)

Reading- 7.5 . This is my dilemma. I am disappointed and surprised. During practice at home my scores were 40- 38. Then seeing a 7.5=36 has demoralised me.

Should I rewrite another IELTS?
Stimulated score with 7.5 reading = 471
With 8 in reading = 474


So, I re-wrote IELTS and my result came in today. It's unfortunate that this is not an I maxed it all story **sniffes*

I didn't get ITA with my 471- tie breaker.

And my 2nd result is:
L- 9
R- 8.5
S- 7.5
W- 7

I feel bad, but not as bad as I felt in my first attempt.

I hope it's all worth it at the end.
The mental impact of this process (for some) is something else.

Awww I really thought you were going to get ITA yesterday. Sorry. If you're not losing any points to birthday yet, i think you should just chill for now. Your 471 is too high not to get an ITA soon.

For me, we have a simulated score of 472 but Wes is just sitting on my spouse's evaluation for weeks now, plus his ielts results isn't out yet so we totally missed this draw and I'm going to lose precious five points by my birthday in October ending

Watched the channel 'Write to top' for writing. Watched so many of his videos about grammar and sentence construction. Really helped me, because I didnt even have time to complete my essay yet got a decent score. I also read sample essays/letters on ieltsliz.

For listening and reading i watched E2ielts, i would apply their listening and reading tips to past questions until i was consistently getting 39-40 in all tests.

Speaking, still tips from e2ielt's Jay, then just watching all the random speaking videos that popped up in my recommendations. Started applying all the tips when answering phone calls or talking to random people that didnt know i was using them to practice.

Please when filling the express form, when they ask for 'language test form or certificate number', what number is that?

Hello people, please I have a question about my surname and id appreciate if anyone whose migrated while bearing a different surname from their spouse can respond...or anyone that has an idea.

I'm married but I still go by my maiden name. I never had any intention of changing my name because I like it just the way it is. My new int'l passport and bank accounts after marriage all have my maiden name on them.

However, my children's birth certificates have my name written with my husband's surname because the person who did it assumed that's what I go by.

Please how best do I fix this cuz I don't want any complications due to this? I want to know if other people have managed to prove that they're a family while bearing different surnames. So that I'd know whether to just fix the error on the birth certificates or if I should just do a change of name

Yes they'll usually wait until they receive all required documents.

Secondly, it's currently taking them about 15 days to acknowledge receipt of documents- thanks to covid. So just wait 15 days, they'll probably update it before then, if not you can call them.

Please has anyone ever had their speaking test with MOD scheduled for 9 days after the written tests. I want to register for ielts with MOD on the 26th of September, but my passport expires on the 5th of October. I'm trying to quickly get a new one but they're saying no booklets so it would take two weeks. Please who knows if they ever schedule speaking tests as late as 9 days after the rest of the tests

Download the (EOR) Enquiries on Results form on their website, fill it and scan it. Pay 15k to their bank account. You can call or mail them to get what account to pay into.
Scan the receipt of the payment, scan your filled form and send it to email. exams.nigeria@ng.britishcouncil.org

They have safe lockers with tags where you can keep your valuables. You won't be allowed to enter with anything asides your pencil, sharpener, eraser and passport. Nothing more, not even a wrist watch or a neck chain!

Hello, UNN sent my husband's transcripts to WES from Nigeria via dhl. I've been tracking the transcripts and it got there on 31st Aug but WES profile still says 'on hold, awaiting documents.' Please how long does it take for them to update it or do I have to contact them.

Just out of curiosity, are the administrators of the speaking tests foreigners or Nigerians.

I guess they accept statement of result then. I just remember seeing a message on mine that said it must be a certificate and nothing else.

Many persons used Statement/Notification of results successfully.....a few others even used "To Whom It May Concern" from their school.

I think I remember them specifying that I shouldn't submit anything else other than a certificate, they said not a statement of result or such. There was a note beside the 'upload certificate' button saying this. And this was just last week. Now I'm feeling like I imagined it. Maye this was specific to my profile for some reason sha, I'm not sure again. Just confirm that it doesn't say this on your profile @Ayinke93
