Wait a second! Those were questions. And your response is very ridiculous for a man, assuming that you are one. Calm down next time. Some of us actually attempt to monitor trends of stories coming from certain quarters. The link below does not confirm the story by sunnewsonline. Adejoro74: Bury your head in shame. Is Ogun State in heaven that people don't know what goes on there? Do you need newspaper report to know there is a fulani invasion problem in Ogun? http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/community-news/51165-ogun-govt-to-resolve-farmers-fulani-herdsmens-dispute/ |
Did any other news outlet report this story? What is the reputation of sunnewsonline? Do you stop to consider the quality of a story before picking up your arms? |
@op It is important for your friend to be very compliant with his antibiotic regimen. There is no benefit to worry. If his wound is the only thing infected and not his bone, 6-8 weeks should be adequtae. If his bone is infected, he will get better but may have a recurrence. MRSA can be treated successfully with Vanco. Only if it is VRSA do you need Linezolid. Again, I would like to reiterate that compliance is a key to getting better. I wish you both well. |
Old thread! |
So has the IG said anything yet? |
tedfx4life: I understand but please just let it pass.Because there is nothing. $20 million in Abuja, $25 million in Oyo. Who is Mr Dipak? From media relations to overnight food processor? We surely have a leadership problem. |
Mr Gbawe, It's alright. You used to be so much better than this. What happened to you? Thank you for the lecture. I am not sure how I offended you. I simply asked you a question, an honest one at that but you are taking it a different way. Don't use words that are more complex that I would need a dictionary for. Again, for the most part, I am on your side, but today, you are very much like Beaf and that sir is totally unbecoming. Just so you know, I would not descend to that low level. If a leader is not living to expectation, I will speak up. Again, my focus for now is on the SouthWest leaders because "ile la ti nkesho rode" |
Gbawe: Indeed. Ajimobi is a technocrat par excellence and I expect him to come good for Oyo. Ajimobi should be in his element regarding the attraction of FDI (foreign direct investments) to Oyo State. I hope to see more of this sort of development.[/b VS Gbawe: [b]With all due respect, do you know what a technocrat is to understand it has nothing to do with Ajimobi's performance as a governor? Being described as a technocrat has everything to do with his achievements in his professional life that demonstrated skills which singles him out as a technical expert.[quote author=Gbawe]Nothing personal, but had to go back and reread to figure out how on earth I misunderstood you. |
@gbawe I posted my thanks before I read your response which I find very amusing and unusual. I gues NL is changing you. Intellectual laziness is not something that you can accuse me of, I will most definitely not accuse you of same because if I would, that question would not be asked of you. Having said that, we must be very cautious of how we evaluate and rate information or we will become another Beaf or whatever moniker he uses now. |
@gbawe, Thank you for your response. This is the profile that I saw and I thought "Finally, Oyo state willl shine again". Alas, thos hopes have been dashed multiple times. How long then do we have to wait before we call it what it is? I have family and friends in Oyo state and even though they are thankful that Akala is gone, they had hoped for better governace with Ajimobi. This appears to be all it is; hope. Coming back to this press release., there is an article from around May this year talking about a Nigeria based KARMA SOYA CO, brokering a $20 million dollar deal in Abuja for soy production with Mr Dipak at the helm. Now Oyo state claims a $25 million dollar deal with a Uk based KAMA MILK INDUSTRY for soy milk. So which is it, KAMA OR KARMA.? NIGERIA OR UK BASED.? How much soya bean is grown in Oyo state? Where is the destination for exports? Who provides the $25 million dollars? This is either a government that has become comfortable because citizens do not ask the right questions or shoddy journalism. |
Mr Gbawe, With all due respect, I would like youto tell us what Ajimobi has done for Oyo state that qualifies him to be regarded aa a technocrat? Or easier still, tell us of his previous mangerial or leadership accomplishments. |
There is nothing impressive about this. "Foreign/abroad"does not automatically translate to "better". The leadreship in Oyo state has really fallen short of expectations. This appears to be a desperate attempt to show that Ajimobi is doing something. Is it the same Oyo state where wives of political office holders were sent on a wasteful trip abroad? What was that training for again? Or the state government that sacked teachers because anyone whose records indicate that they may have graduated elementary school before the age of 10 was deemed fraudulent? Please Aji se bi Oyo laari oo, nuff said. Kama milk company is non existent per web searches. Mr Dipak was in media business for the past 20 years and just came into the food processing business in January 2012. This stinks to the high heavens. UK residents, you can easily confirm if such a company is a UK firm. It is past time that we hold our leaders accountable! |
ItsModella: She's not Nigerian, she's actually Irish. Most definitely Irish! |
Mr Shiorrrrrr |
@debrief It always breaks my heart when I read your experiences with your ex. I am one tough lady but I am at the point of tears. I cannot even begin to imagine. But thanks be to God that you are alive and well enough to share this story. You tried more than you needed to, to make it work. Anyone that says otherwise must have info that we don't. I have advised families and friends to ditch their abusive hubbies who have not done a tenth of what yours did. I have zero tolerance for a man who hits a woman. God be with you. FYI: I have read bits and pieces of,your story from time to time but sometimes it gets really painful to read it again. Just wanted to encourage and commend you here. |

Look how beautiful this woman is! No wigs, no brazillian hair, no excessive make up. Ayamatangas, take note. No offence, I used hair attachments too, a long time ago. Sorry everyone, off topic. I just couldn't resist. |

@tpia If you drop the Quran accidentally, it is not a sin. If someone touches your Quran with filthy hands, you do not fight them. You simply let them know that it is not acceptable. Would you want someone to touch your regular book with filth/filthy hands? If someone steals your Quran, that is all it is; your Quran was stolen. I hope this sheds some light on it for you Toba. Having said that, I see the OP encouraging us to read the Quran in the spare time we use for fb, twitter and the rest of them, ain't nothing wrong with that. We muslims also do believe in giving unto Cesar what is his. So you will not catch us reading Quran during work hours unless we are on break. |
Salam alaykum warahmatullah What is the expected price of Ileya Ram this year? How about a bag of rice? Elubo? Garri? Basket of pepper? Palm oil? Ororo? I think it will be a useful budget tool for us all if those who know can post their findings here. Sisters in the house, abeg update us. Brothers too, you are not left out. salaam |
@abdulsleek Two things; you repeated "honor killing" twice as options to non muslim marrying muslim. Please can you enlighten the house as to where you got this from? Just play along that I am a christian debating you at work. In Islam, there is nothing called honor killing. Please explore the Quranic verses on the sanctity of life to guide you to why the concept of "honor killing" is incompatible with Islam. The second thing is your disagreement with Allah. ( audhu billahi mina shaytanirajim) in the heat of the moment, you probably mistyped. I have followed your posts and I thought that you were quite passionate about your soul and submission to the Most High. In fact, I have never heard a Jew or Christian utter this, and you sir, are the first "muslim" that would declare this to my knowledge. If you find yourself debating, do not tell non muslims things about Islam if you are not sure of the answer. To be sure, you have to seek knowledge and understanding. If you do not know, it is okay to say so and promise to find the right answer by the next meeting. The laughter! That is nothing! They call your women "ninja", now that is TOLERANT. At the end of the day, each soul will answer for its deeds. I pray you find the right answers that would lead you to success in this world and the hereafter if truly you desire these . |
^^^^^ahmmmmm. Your thoughts don't really count at this point. This is her choice, her story. You go right ahead and believe what you will. It's a free world, ain't it. |
May Allah forgive him. |
Toba! Toba! Toba! How many timesdid I call you? You don come again o. Why make a pronouncement if you have no validated data to support it? Do you know what that makes you? And that it will bring future information that you present under much scrutiny? How are we even going to consider you (for what you have been after) if we cannot vouch for your word? Better to recant and say what you know is the truth deep within your heart. You, for one, has spent enough time in this section to know better, if indeed you choose to be truthful. |
2mch: Is this a positive poem or a yab to muslims? All i see is intolerance and a propensity for violence. Not putting your religion in a good light, you are rather justifying people's stereotypes. And you only see what your eyes choose to see! @sino, well understood. Ma sha Allah. |
My brothers, It just breaks my heart! For goodness sake, we are muslims, we build and beautify. How did people turn completely away from the precinct message of calling to Islam with beauty and wisdom and become a joke. The unbelievers will never stop taunting or ridiculing Islam, we should all know that by now. Allah has said it, the Prophet (pbuh) also said it. So are we going to respond this way all the time? Respond we must, but in a dignified and peaceful manner. This type of approach was what gained the The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) the most followers. It is almost like these people do not care for Islam or its growth. They chant " we will die for Isalm" . Please add "if we have to" to that. Because first and foremost, Allah and Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) want you to LIVE for Islam. For Allah said, " I have created man and jinn for no reason other than to worship Me". When you live and remember Allah in every single action, speech or thought, you are fulfilling this obligation. When you die, all acts of worship are terminated so why would you want to die first? @mac, I will send you an email shortly, oro po. |
Hmnnnn..... te] lastpage: Seems the "Beaf" people don get "women's or first lady's wing"? |
ENOUGH ALREADY: STOP THIS INSANITY This message for the most part is for you who say you are a muslim yet you destroy lives and property because the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was insulted. You are no better than the one who did the insulting. Before I go further, I want to categorically state that it is wrong for any one or group to publish, broadcast or disseminate content that is offensive to any religion, tribe, group or affiliation even within the rights of freedom of speech. It is called tolerance leading to peaceful coexistence. This is however a topic for another day and another time. Today, I am addressing you who directly or indirectly support these acts of violence. It seems to me that you read your Quran upside down or maybe not at all. For where does that sanctity of life amount to nothing in your eyes when Allah (SWT) expressly forbids you to take someone else's life or even yours in the Quran unless you are in war? How did you forget the repeated commands of Allah (SWT) that you should not be the trangressors, you should be patient? Do you realize how far away you are from the example of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW)? Who was ever more insulted than the beloved Prophet of Allah (pbuh)? Did he fight for his own sake or did he do it when Allah commanded? You have obviously lost your way. You kill, maim, and destroy muslims who do not agree with your approach. A muslim is not safe from you, now that is bothersome. You kill women and children so tell me how you are better than the kufars whom you so much despise. You place other muslims in danger from psychos just like yourself. You are so angry, it reminds one of the mutants in the movie "I am legend". What you are practising is not Islam. You will not succeed and you will not give Islam a bad name because you are in the minority and we muslims are not scared of you even as we know that we are not safe from you. Please take a pause and reflect. GO back to the Quran and recall what the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) constantly taught. He would not be a party to this current level of insanity. You are hurting the Ummah by your action. Remember, if a society is good, it is because of the muslims. If it is bad, it is because of the muslims. Return to the way of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), this insanity is NOT his way. May Allah guide us aright. Amin. |

This release makes no sense. Please ACN should focus on improving the performance of ACN controlled states. BTW, I am no fan of PDP or Bamanga. But I love Aregbe and Fashola. Not sure what Ajimobi is doing. |
