Happy married life in advance. |
Crystalom3:I see why you can comfortably make that pugnacious statement. Your mind is weak. Resorting to insults already. Everybody is a slave to the culture they follow. Not every king married because of beauty. For years, kings marry to solidify their hold on power. So most marry from high class families for the connections. What is the name of the French president who married his teacher? For every Ned Nwoko, there are two Francoise Hollands and Ferdinands(husband of Isabelle) |
Started dating at 22. Had my first sex the next year. On my third girlfriend right now(we never bleep because I know the relationship won't last). Had sex 11 times so far with 4 different girls. Bleeped only one out of the three girls I ever dated. Now 30. |
I totally disagree with this. All of the girls I've dated so far except one did the chasing and approaching. We talk of women as if they are the final reward for a man's hardwork. As if their presence is all you need. Talks like that makes it look like they are doing the man a favor if they "agree" to date or marry him. I will say it is our culture that makes it seem that way. The truth is that it is the man doing her a favor. The earlier we accept this truth, the better for our children. |
Coldie: |
Coldie:I will vote any Igbo into power if they are deserving. I can't imagine living in a Nigeria without Igbos. God forbid! I wish they will fight for power and get it if it matters so much to them. Many Northern Nigerians want the Igbos to be in power, but they can't fight alongside IPOB. IPOB is an exclusively one-tribe militant group breeding and propagating hatred for all others. I agree, Igbos deserve the presidency but they ain't fighting for it. |
Coldie:what has producing or not producing a president or a vice got to do with seccessionist agendas? Nigeria's democracy is just 22 years. So that's not enough time to talk of seccession. We all know that the international standard period for a group that started a civil war to be allowed to rule a nation after losing the war is 50 years. 1970 to 2021 is just 51 years. So nothing is amiss. Besides, IPOB is not fighting for power; they are fighting against the nation. I support Biafra for my own reasons, but IPOB is a threat both to Nigeria and to Biafra. P.S: I am from North Central. |
As much as I support Biafran agitations, We all know IPOB is a terrorist group. Any seccessionist group is a terrorist group worst than bokoharam. Bokoharam and Herdsmen bandits are internal security problems. Internal security problems and seccessionist issues are two completely different things altogether. The difference is: IPOB is threatening the very existence of the nation. Their reason? They have never produced an elected president. I wonder who will fight for the Igalas, the Gbagyis, the Katafs and the other 200 ethnic groups; most of which have never even produced a minister. |
Wish we would use all this energy to fight the real problem we are having, not one another. The Igbo man is not the Yoruba or Hausa man's problem. Same for the other two. Nigeria is never getting divided, as much as I wish it would. All these seccessionist nonsense is only pitching one group against another and building resentments for others where it should not be. Nothing is gonna come out of it. But what do I know? I am just some black monkey in my own cage. |
It is why I always wish my own people in the middle belt will start our agitation for our own nation. If not, when Biafra and Oduduwa republics are actuallized and we are left with these Hausa/Fulani people, o boy, na die get us. |
True! This is not democracy. |
P1PrinceKT:I doesn't matter. At least my kids ain't the only ones to pay for it(that's if they ever set foot in this land at all). One day, someone like Sunday Igboho will be appointed minister and he will claim he has repented and refuse to resign in spite of what we(or our children) may say. And his biggest excuse will be "Pantami, a known terrorists advocate also refused to resign too". We are building a culture of impunity, forgetting that what goes around will always come around. The North and Muslims will not always be in power. |
It baffles me to think that there are actually people who still defend this man. This is a very sensitive position for God's sake given to a man with a very doubtful "past". Are there no better muslims to take his place? The muslims should even be the ones in the forefront fighting for his removal if really they are a people of 'peace' as they always claim. But obviously they preffer him because he "once" supported what they all secretly support. We are building a culture in this country where politicians will still hold on to power even when the people have lost confidence in them. No wonder there is anarchy in the land. This is not about "Islamophobia". You people are actually asking us to trust our personal security database to a man who has a questionable link with terrorists. The fact that many muslims support this man only shows that, really, they actually support terrorism. It is not about love or hate; it is about giving my trust to a former terrorist promoter. #pantamiout. |
chatinent:this got me laughing like madd. Three wrongest combination. |
For people like me, "zoning" the presidency means nothing. By people like me, I mean, those who seem to not belong anywhere. Those of us from Southern Kaduna, Bauchi and even Kebbi, Taraba and Benue; countless minorities. We are considered "North" by every one else, but we know we do not 'belong'. So for us, it doesn't matter where the presidency is 'zoned' to. It is obvious the discussion is never about competence or or qualification. It has always been about 'belonging'. Since we belong nowhere, most of us have lost faith in the system. For me though I personally believe the Igbos deserve a shot. But 'power is not handed on a platter'. They deserve it means they should 'fight' for it. Somehow, I feel an Igbo presidency will mean the end of Nigeria. The first 'president' of a Nigeria, Nnamdi Azikiwe (the only real leader this country ever had), was Igbo, the last should also be Igbo. Poetic huh? I am very ok with that. But this is politics. This is Nigeria. The power is not always with the people. |
lekki1444:I don't really understand what you mean here, but "Kingsley" is just a name. Anybody from any where can bear the name. I have seen an "Apostle Suleiman" and a "Pastor Idris Mohammed" before. And they are not from Northern Nigeria. Maybe "Moghalu!" What language is that? Hint: Guess where these people are from: Abe Shaba, Simi Paul, Ekene Joseph, Chika Bagu, Farhan Adah. I know all these people personally. |
Me, all I want is Kingsley Moghalu. He's about the most honest, good-hearted and qualified candidate so far. And I don't even know where he's from. Seriously, I don't even care. I just need the best man for the job, and it doesn't matter where he's from or what religion he practices. TeamMoghalu2023 |
Damn! I think I am the number one fan of tattoos. Unfortunately my skin is too dark for a tattoo. I love this one. Long live the queen! |
Coronabirus:I am sorry, but you made me went back to read the thing again. I didn't see the word "kidnap". Girl was abducted. And Yes! I know the meaning of 'abducted'. She is obviously still under a guardian. Maybe she only eloped with her lover. Maybe she was actually 'abducted'. Maybe she was only brainwashed. But her parents/guardians were not aware or were never consulted. That's a breach of the law. That's us even assuming she's +18. People can start respecting Islam only when the 'good' muslims start been vocal against such excesses. But obviously they all seem to support it |
This people's stupidity is what baffle me most. Their shamelessness is notorious already. I just the Hausas and Fulani will have a republic of their own. Lets see how they will run it. The problem is that we the minority in the North will be the ones to suffer the brunt of it. |
Nowhere is it written that a woman MUST cover. Paul was just saying that a woman's hair is given to her as a covering. A man's hair is not for covering, so he can cut it. But if a woman iss going to cut her hair at all, she should shave it altogether, as a form of shame, and then use some other form of covering i.e veil. And that injunction was Paul's personal view, not a command from the Lord. See? I am not even christian, but I can see how simple it is. Stop complicating things for yourself. |
Patrioticman007:bros, I understand you. But this is not about islam. I am very sure you are not in support of bokoharam, alqaeda or taliban terrorism. Anybody, christian or muslim, who once supported extremism in any way should not occupy such a sensitive position as Pantami is occupying. There are far better muslims who can occupy that position. He may have changed, but for the sake of transparency and equity he should resign. |
The only animal I fear on this planet are Humans. |
I think this thing is not strictly about tribe. In my place in Southern Kaduna, there is no specific amount or price. It all depends on the bride's parents and the groom. My mum was only prayed for and nothing was ever paid. My cousin married a man from Delta who lives in Maitama in Abuja. The groom was overcharged; he spent nothing less than N150K. He considered that cheap. My older brother spent about N250K to marry a girl from a different local government. They got married last two weeks. My other cousin sis demanded only N25k. And the brideprice is usually 20%-25% of the entire amount. But I also know a wedding where the groom spent nothing less than N500K in my village. |
Indeed! Nigerians are that irrational. Case study: Messi and Ronaldo. Even with six Balon d'ors, you will still hear us go like "Messi no sabi anything". "Ronaldo just dey useless". And Nigerians hate rich kids. Example is Davido. People say he's got "frog voice" even though he's got a far better voice than some of their favorite artistes. |
Many people consider The black man the face of poverty, stupidity, criminality and backwardness. Things like this are what encourage such views. But we all know we are stronger than this. I respect the father though. |
Please, let cannabis be legalized in Nigeria already. 'Everybody' smokes this shit now. From the army to the police to politicians, musicians, agberos and even some clergymen. Lets stop the hypocrisy na. Cigerates and alcohol kill more people in a month than weed can ever kill in year, but they are publicly trade, while the sativa is discriminated against. And, believe it or not, I don't even smoke or drink. |
I wish to work any where I will be made to be travelling any how.
Or where I will be in contact with water(the sea or the ocean)
Or any place that will put me close to animals.
Or let me just be an actor; for then I can be anything. |
OP don disappear! Hope say your friend marry the geh las las. |
