chatinent:well I gave those personels a live action movie. One thing I know is that no military personel is ever going to catch me once I already make the mistake of starting to run. Because if they catch after you made an attempt to flee, I pity you. It is better you stop when they ask you to stop or you run like a mad dog once you take the first step. |
sirqeeboi:just kuku join them na. At least they sell good supplements. My friend been join them come dey disturb us every day say very soon we go see am for Dubai. Safe journey. But Why won't they follow people house to house like Jehovah's Witnesses do. They rather decieve people into spending their tfair to come meet them. Somebody should sue these people. |
So na like this Nairaland take save my ass! My interview is supposed to happen tomorrow 14th of April @ Sabo. 'Empire NG', from the name sef. I was a victim once in Abuja in 2014. I was told to come for interview @ NNPC towers. Omo I shock! Sharp sharp I iron ma clothe barb my hair carry taxi 'drop' go there. But when I called the number to tell them I was there, a girl answered and told me to follow a path opposite the towers. When I saw myself walking away from the NNPC towers, I knew something is not right. I "knew" right from the onset this is too good to be true. They directed me into an upstairs hall filled with people and started giving us lectures. The thing vex me o. In the end they asked us to pay 32k to register for GNLD. I told them I had no money, but they insisted I call home to borrow money to register before the opportunity is lost. I just smiled and left. They knew it would be useless trying to stop me. I wish someone will move this thread to front page. Them dey KD now. @Lalasticlala. |
Me! I only make friends with them and give them the chance to ask me out. The last girl I 'toasted' (in my 300L) was forming hard to get, so I moved. This babe hated me for that. A friend once told me 'a girl forming "hard to get" is just having a low self-esteem'. I agree! Now, I only date my friends and we Bleep when it gets to it. Even if they move on, no love is lost 'cause we still friends. As a rule, though, I never Bleep my bestie. It is fun because everybody believe we fork like rabbits. It gives me secret pleasure knowing we proving 'em wrong. And it benefits me too; many of the other girls get intimidated when they see us together (she set die) so they try to level up. And they feel I am not a begger. Forget say I broke pass church rat. Levels dey this thing. Girls do spend on their male friends. |
Guy no break up with any of them. Just allow them to be in the relationship alone. Just dey Bleep them when the thing come. NEVER EXPECT LOYALTY FROM FEMALES. |
I am just happy all these people, (Igbos/Yorubas/Hausas and the rest of us), are Nigerians. Imagine a Nigeria without Yoruba or Igbo or Hausa or Bini, or Tiv or Babur or Gbagyi or Fulani or Calabar. God forbid! |
I dey on top bicycle. The two airforce guys dey come from behind on top one underbone(rubber-rubber). The one on the passenger sit raised his hand to slap my head. Luckily for me, the sound of their bike made me turn at the very instant. O boy, I dodge the slap but I almost fell of my cycle. Na so I use vex start dey insult them o. One useless keke man go tell them say I dey insult them(dem been stop for one junction few meters away). As I see them dey try turn come back, omo come see James Bond wey me and them do that day. Thank God say my bicycle get speed and Kd town na my area. Another experience was when I dey escort my bestie then from my house to her place and KD city dey under curfew then. She told me one of the soldiers wey do checkpoint for the junction to their street dey try toast her so dem no go touch her. Me wan form tough guy, So I follow the geh. O boy as I see the soldiers, my liver fail o. Na the next day this babe come tell me say I get luck o. The soldiers been dey wait mek I come. |
Yes! All cultures were started, consciously or unconsciously by someone. L.Ron Hubbard said "the greatest achievement any man can make is if they are able to found a religion." Then he went ahead and founded the Church of Scientology religion. Sometimes you have to use what people believe in already to build your culture just like the 'christianese' culture we see in our pentacostal churches nowadays. Their founders used the bible to build empires in their names even though most of them do not even believe in God. |
Scarfin:we all see the world the way we are. Liars see every one else as a liar. |
luminouz:I am interested in getting married does not mean It should be a big deal for every one. Besides, a sitting commisioner in one of the states in Nigeria is pestering her for marriage right now, but she's not interested. And NO! she doesn't have a child. |
This is serious o. I still don't understand why ladies take this marriage thing very serious. Like, what difference does it make whether or not a lady is married. My aunt is in her mid fifties and she's never been married. She's not even thinking of that. I hope to get married before the end of 2022 though. |
I wish I can help convince you to let this animal go. But the world ain't fair. Pythons, especially Ball Pythons, are really gentle and harmless creatures. I actually love them. |
AfroKnight:'water plus headache', chai! You na boss. Heineken na baba. I still stick to my Guinness though. |
AfroKnight:you don ever drink Goldberg or Star before? |
jeff1607:you talking about malts, schwepes and lagers? If at all I take any "soft" drinks, I always go for a schwepes. Still, I'll rather not. Malts are good, but they still got too much sugar. Lagers, to me are just like pure water. |
jeff1607:honestly, how people crave all these "soft" drinks beats my imagination too. I rather take my two bottles of foreign extra, extra smooth or extra bitters than sip half a cup of soda. |
Staphylococcus:Guiness is bae any time, any day. For me, it is either guiness or just gi me water; Thanks! |
Saintdan0421:there is this galleria in U/Rimi @ Rimi/Lamido road around Lalle Lalle. I've been there though but people who have been there gave me a very good account. And it is cheap too. You get to see movies, art galleries and lots more. |
I will only sit down and listen to both so I can give them a fair hearing in the presence of the other (so no one feels cheated or misunderstood). Then I silently walk away without a word. I will come back later to meet each of them separately to point out their faults in the dispute. I will never tell you what I think of the other person's argument. Done that many times before and it worked every time. |
Chai! See how I just dey follow the story like say na JAMB I wan use am write. Interesting one. Bring it on ... |
Dude! I am actually in a struggle right now to overcome dumping. I just go straight to the point with them girls. And it is paying off. I've seen more ladies' pants within these few weeks than I'd done my entire life. But I don't wanna make my 'redpill' about just bimping girls; I want it to be more about getting them millions. |
Jashub:actually, I AM from Northern Nigeria. I'd never even visited Southern Nigeria. My whole life's been Kaduna-Kano-Niger-Abuja-Nasarawa-Taraba. I did home lessons for some kids in Niger state for two years. But it is sad seeing how this people value Islamic education far more than modern education. They can beat a child to a pulp if they refused to go for islamiyya, but will not even bother to know the name of the child's 'boko'. I had to do lessons free for most of the kids because nobody is ready to pay for Western education of the "unbelievers". But maybe they can be made to understand that "science" is a universal language when their religious institutions started teaching it. Heck, even the numerals we use in English are actually of Arabic origins. But I understand Your point shah: Some people will always choose stupidity. I learnt that in the '40s, when there were only a little more than 100 schools in the entire southern Nigeria, the Northern part of Nigeria had no less than 22k islamiyya schools across the north. But instead of using these schools to actually teach these kids something, they rather force them to cram the Qur'an without even bothering to teach them the language. Some people just dey annoying. |
offset67:You have nothing to say. I said something reasonable. And I am the stupid one. Only @Jashub made some sense in his comment. |
Jashub:Yeah! I know! It sounds stupid even suggesting such idea, especially when we are surrounded by French-speaking countries and considering the religious commotations. I am christian and I know too well what formalizing Arabic may imply. But I always feel hurt whenever I hear people call these almajiris 'illiterate'. I mean, you need to see how these kids read the Koran. But most of their parents won't allow them go to a 'boko' school. The purpose of education is learning; and if Arabic will give them the chance to learn, why not push it? . Just me thinking out loud shah. |
I know this may sound offensive to many, but I think The Arabic language should be formalized in Nigeria. These are some of my reasons. It is ok if you do not agree with my points 1- Arabic is the most widely spoken language in Africa. The entire North Africa speaks Arabic and every other African country have thousands of Arabic speakers. It is an international language spoken both in Africa and outside Africa. 2- Nigeria's number one tourist destination, Dubai, is in an Arabic-speaking country. 3- It will make education easier in Northern Nigeria. All the almajiris we call "illiterate" can actually read and write Arabic. Imagine they are all taught to actually speak the language and it is used to teach them science and business. Already, there are thousands of Islamic schools across the country. If modern education syllabus is included into their system and "their" language is used to teach them, boko(school) will no longer be haram(forbiden). 4- Arabic scripts are already on our army logo and naira notes. |
Hello! I am not Igbo; sorry! I never knew Igbos generally hate on a particular group among them. Hearing it for the first time. I am from Southern Kaduna. We have roughly 43 different ethnic groups here that speak about 65 different dialects. We don't "hate" on each other. But, of course, we usually get into some forms of disagreements. Especially when it involves our various and different cultural practices. This mostly only come into play when there is an inter-ethnic wedding. Generally, getting married in Southern Kaduna is comparatively cheaper than in other places. But there are specific groups here that are notorious for their excesses. And because of that it is normal to hear stuff like "please, avoid so-and-so group" or "so-and-so 'tribe' is a greedy tribe", etc. We don't confuse such sentiments with "hate". All I am saying is: concluding that 'every' other people "hate" the Igbos is just plain paranoid. Even the Yorubas and Hausas make that absurd claim sometimes. But what do I know? I am just a kid |
Emeskhalifa:for the love all goodness, please stop all these ethnicity rubbish. Many useless bigots have done enough damage already. We become hypocrites when we shout "RACISM", while we are here hating on each other. Please stop. PLEASE! |
I never liked my language name, so I gave myself this one. I use it everywhere. Means "beautiful" or "good". (from one of the 43 languages in Southern Kaduna). I am a dude. Many people say I have a beautiful singing voice and I only do good music. |
nsiba:Moghalu2023 will get my 100% support. If Nigerians have eyes to see, we will all vote himin |
I don't believe this. I believe The Hausa is the most hated in Nigeria. Simply because the Hausa language and culture (which is more Semitic) is different from most other languages and cultures in the country (which are Twi/Kwa). I am not Hausa. The Igbos are hardworking. Yes! But they are very loud also. They love extravagance and been superfluous. No tribe is better than any other in Nigeria. I am not saying this to be modest. I have done my studies and I know. I can't write an epistle here to explain that. |
Oga, homosexuality has always been part of EVERY culture. I think you are the one worshipping the white man: thinking Africans don't think for themselves. You think we blacks don't/can't decide for ourselves unless we are influenced by the white man. And because my forefathers practiced polygamy do not mean it is right for me now. It is not the white man that makes me know that polygamy is wrong. I've got a mind too. I am disgusted by homosexuality as much as you are, but lets face reality; these people are here to stay. And since their choice does not affect me in any way, let them get their freedom. Their bodies, their lives, their choices. Our forefathers were too dumb to create a form of writing for us, so we do not have written records of all these stuff. But the fact that most of our languages now have words for homosexuality is enough prove that they had been among us, even if underground. STOP attributing everything to the white man doñAllah. |
It baffles me how low the typical Nigerians' self-esteem is. What is special about been Jewish? The Fulanis are even more Jewish and Semites than the Igbos can ever dream of, but here we are |
