Well, this will be a good idea if JAMB won't make the mistake of cramming students into a computer lab same day for the exams. Let them have a duration, say 6months between March and August yearly. Licence Prometric centres where you can walk in any day of your choice, write your exam (you can only write once a year) pick up your result and leave. Then at the end of August, they'll publish the prospective successful list to all the Universities. |
Redmosquito: Minion: How could such a thing have happened to this poor soul? My LordHey bro! I'm loving these your creative convos. Any book in the offing? |
Eze nnaemeka: That mr advertiser got me crazy man. Nobody is paying me for this just doing for those that are interested. Thanks bro. Please two quick questions. 1. I've bought the form and processed online for someone. She only sent me WAEC result and Birth cert. for submission as the testimonial is yet to be picked up from school. Can they accept the other two for now? 2.How, and when is the school hostel application made? Thanks. |
chaircover: I have a couple of questions for the pilots in the house. I hate flying so the more I know about how things work up there, should hopefully help kill this fearI can answer this well as i frequently battle with that. It's actually dependent on YOU- Yes, and not the airplane. The name of the popping is actually termed ear-plane(the pain can be harrowing, few people have reported bursted ear drums) The cause is the inability of your ear drum to equalize the air pressure inside your ear with the one outside, caused by the pressurized cabin. These are my tested procedures for ear-pop free flights: Each time you have cold/cattarh, avoid flying altogether if you can , otherwise use nasal spray,or sudafed 30mins before take-off to help clear your middle ear tube for free flow of air. You can also use ear plugs to block your ear (fix them shortly before boarding) Hope this helps. |
toba: I dont think this is correct. i know its a leasehold interest that would be granted through first bank the financier in cooperation with LASG. shops are to be leasased for 25yrs renewable upon expiration of sizes ranging from 6m2, 9m2, to 12m2 etc in lock up shops and open stalls. the lowest for the 25yrs lease is N6millionThat's right bro. The allocation was done with payments into firstbank Account @540k/m2 around 08/09. So for the guys wondering 'who can afford that'? it's all bought up already! |
Billyonaire: Not everyone is built for public transportation my friend, if you work hard, you need to play hard. To be frank with you, none of these guys will ever come begging at anyone's doorstep. I can assure you, they reason better, are more intelligent, more constructive than most haters who will probably never board a private jet till the end of their miserably fvcking life.Gotta agree with you on this bro. These guys are celebrities for goodness sakes, swags like this create more buzz around them, consequently increasing their demand at shows/events with higher earnings. All these 8-5 workers should stop using their 'spend within your salary' mentality on people that earn money per appearance. Those dudes are investing wisely for the future. Worry more about you loosing your job, rather. Lol |
And the BPE head is enthusiastically talking about compensating Rusal? For doing what exactly? A company won a bid @400mil USD, you skipped that and sold to a @200mil bidder. Now you also want to compensate them? Can EFFC haul OBJ in for questioning about this kangaroo deal? It's likely OBJ has shares in Rusal |
GNBohr: This response from Nestle get as e be. It only add to the comfusion and worry of the people. What do they mean by " precautionary measures". Why the new insertion of precaution in June 2012? What makes the product "suitable" pre June 2012 and "unsuitable" post June 2012. What is the danger to the children who have previously, are presently and will later consume the product? You are right bro. It is possible that they added some stronger contents that neccesitates the added info on the pack just in June this year. My 3-year old has been on it since she was one, and we really have had no reason to suspect it as she never had any digestive issues. NESTLE should do better than the above by providing a clear reason for the recent changes. |
@SEUN/MODs I observed that when i use the bold icon or font resize icon on a selected text, instead of getting the function executed, the whole text gets duplicated. I guess that's a bug. |
highlandre: Na dem sabi for Los Angeles o; for Lagos where we dey, if u never use blackberry phone, u're either new from village or saving towards getting one.You nailed it bro! Now let's even get serious. For all the folks joining the US bandwagon on BB hating, how many of you can stay connected on your data bundle for a year uninterrupted with your Apple and Android devices at a matching rate to what BB delivers here? I am on BES, that requires working on my mails on the go, I discovered that when I use iPad to respond to a mail, it loses most of the graphic layout content, including the signature card, which is critical in identifying the mail bearer. BB on the other hand, will deliver a perfect replica of your mail content. Until Apple and Androids promoters comes up with a unique package for heavy data users over here, RIM will continue to enjoy increasing patronage here. |
etunoman76: Another Customer Elizabeth Nege, said the increased limit from N100, 000 to N150, 000 would allow her withdraw freely without queuing long hours in the banking hall to withdraw money, she praised the idea and demanded for a higher withdrawal limit if it will not affect the user in any negative way.Surely, you will be adversely affected if there is a fraudulent 'flooding' of your account. The maximum daily withdrawal limit mirrors your daily risk exposure, so banks can't just allow you to be overly exposed. For this same purpose, some banks are still sticking their guns on 100k/day maximum. |
Well, I read with utter pity where one of the victim's mum was vowing that his son is such a nice boy. Duh If parents will only see a glimpse of what their sweet little girl/boy at home does in school, they will shudder in horror! Truth is that students have the responsibility to be true to themselves. You can't fool anybody. |

Joey82: looks like a lot of us didnt read that statement well o,Well done sisi mi. This shows you are the only person that didn't 'chop' your school fees. But then, in as much as Tee Mac is making a criticism of another, why did he play the devil's advocate by pushing to sell another 'second hand' plane to another man of God, if he genuinely feels men of God shouldn't have one. The heart of men is just mischievious, i think the dude actually have an ulterior motive by attacking Oyedepo. Who knows, may be Oyedepo refused to buy his 'second hand' and rather purchased a new one else where ![]() |
What has users got to do with accessing Admin backend login ![]() Are these guys crazy or what? Admin login link on the home page of a public site ![]() Oh kay nah. May be it's the new course in Ethical Hacking 2013 *dunno* |
@OP. For one thing, this issue brings to fore one critical element that people going for inter racial/inter tribal marriage usually ignore. I am of the opinion that couples must strive to speak/understand one of each other's mother tongue apart from English. That should have saved this situation. |
The stupidity is not hard to fathom. Since Dickson = son of a D1ck. issokay. The wicked and corrupt politicians are surely united in their quest to maintain ignominy as a national honor, irrespective of tribe, religion or region. |
blank: You guys are funny o. Did you even read the article?Out of these four locations, surulere has no business being in that list, seeing that it has no water body surrounding it like the rest. The problem here is clogged drainages, Fashola started well by constructing wide drainage from Babs, coming into Aguda to Orile/Coker but that job had long being abandoned! Now, we are going to bear the consequences. |
@OP, Basically, all roadside mechanics will tell you that fairly used parts is better than brand new because of two basic reasons. 1. The OEM parts is 'too costly' in their own estimation, so they advise you get a 'tokumboh' at a cheaper rate. 2. The fake China brand new parts they buy usually fail to deliver. Common sense tells you that you can't compare a part that it's shelf-life had gone half way to a brand new part, One of the problems we have in Nigeria is that mostly, people prefer to use unschooled road-side mechanics instead of visiting standard auto workshops that will advise them to buy OEMs. I do get original OEMs from my autoshop whenever i need a replacement, infact Inspired_man actually did an order for complete shocks for me from the US a while back. |
Wow! So the Oakland Park is open to customers now? I will definitely check it out once I enter coal city l8r in the month. What of the ferry wheel (Enugu Eye) being put up at the Polo mall, is that ready too? Enugu is just too cool to be ignored! |
lumideezle: It is always safer to run into the pothole than any other course of actio. That of cause depends on the speed you are traveling.Guys, this is the professional thing to do. All these people saying that when you get there you will think of what to do never attended a pro driving school. I had an experience this last December on Benin Ore road, doing about 120/140, I was following a commuter bus and after climbing a small steep and on descending the valley, I saw a whirl of dust in my front and no single trace of the white bus on the road, in a split second of wondering which kind of film trick that was, I came face2face with the monster pot hole, I slightly pressed my brakes and released as I hit the poo, rode over it and then it dawned on me that the bus driver must have swerved to avoid it and ended up deep into the bush! Lesson 1. don't press and hold your break at such speed, your car will roll-over Lesson 2. Don't swerve suddenly at such speed, you will end up in the bush or get smashed against the median as the case may be. |
Siena: I don't lift my hood that regularly. perhaps once a month. I've been a licensed driver since 1988. I bought my first car back inm 1990, a 1986 LHD Peugeot 505 STi. Modern cars don't require as much maintenance as older ones, and the cooling system's actually a sealed one. The level should rtemain constant. That's it from the Pro. This is not the 80s when our parents used to keep a gallon of water and a bottle of oil in the trunk for daily top up. If your car can't go 3,000km before you do oil change, go see your mechanic ASAP! |

I pro'ly lift the hood like once in two months. Even at that, you'll find all fluids level intact. Today's car engine system is far ahead of what we have in the 80s/90s when folks usually store a gallon of water in the booth. |
Well, Assuming the said Omojuwa is actually a trainee-lunatic as someone alleged here, does that warrant Arik's response? If you've ever had a missed luggage and all the stress associated with it, you may understand why the dude signed up for the mad protest. What exactly does the rest of the 23 folks did to warrant a ban? Well, may be they beat up the cabin crew ![]() |
Zikkyy: I want to agree with Joagbaje, you really need to ask what the church objectives are. Was it to provide affordable education to church members? was is to provide quality education (only to those that can afford it)? Was it for profit? If it was clear from the very beginning that it was going to be for those that can afford it, you don't blame the church.I honestly think that you and Joagbaje needs to have a serious soul-searching to ascertain whether you are still in the faith as Apostle Paul advised. 'it's all about the money now right'? You people kept fraudulently asking about the objectives of the church when the OP clearly narrated how the funds were raised from members, Sunday after Sunday. Why didn't these churches go to the banks to raise these project funds, pay prevailing interest rates and then call on the rich kids to pay off the loans with the exorbitant tuition, at least they will be morally justified. Why raise funds from members, build and dedicate a project debt-free, and yet those members can't afford it? Infact, one of the resident state Pastors in Winners Chapel told me how in their own case (covenant University), Bishop Oyedepo encouraged them to not only give their substances, but they also go to the site to carry blocks and cements joyfully, with the hope that they are building an institution for their kids, only to be told point blank after completion that the school is not for the poor! (truely he couldn't afford the tuition for any of his two kids)! Didn't the scripture say that a husband man is the first partaker of the fruits? And that you don't muzzle the ox that threads out the corn? Go back to your village and inquire about the Central Schools, the colleges and the TTCs that were established by the missionaries which most of our parents attended, was it these commercialized? Or were they more interested in Human resources development? Even at that, why can't these churches reserve a percentage intake for verified members only at a very subsidized rate for qualified candidates? Something is definitely wrong with this mammon/filthy lucre infested school business from the people that ought to know better |
Guys, It was horrible! I mean really really bad while it lasted. You could see the palpable lack of tact, no confidence and no single knowledge of what governance is all about from those aspirants. The NCP lady was a complete letdown, couldn't complete a single sentence correctly. Moderator: How do you plan to provide electricity to power industries and homes? NCP lady: I will collide with PHCN Me: Collide ke? Wtf!!! She can as well summersault from an electric pole! And this statement of hers was made repeatedly without corrections. The ANPP dude loves Yoruba so much that he forgot that the lady moderator does not understand the language. Omo meehn! Good comic relief for me sha. I only pity my Ondo friends that these clowns will eventually rule over |
Now, the pieces of the puzzle is beginning to come together as this Punch account is far more clearer and plausible than the initial narrative. Omene has answered one of my questions about submitting himself to the DPO. The prime witness (Omene) also established the fact that the police didn't just pull up and aimed a rifle at Ugo, they already stopped a car and was questioning people before they felt a seemingly awkward movement from Ugo's car. *Probably, being under their usual influence, they felt Ugo was aiming a pump action at them, so they got to be the first to pull the trigger* emphasis mine. Mr. IG , with this clearer report, you surely have more jobs on hand to get your men to confess what actually happened here than to merely deny it wasn't your men. P. S. Why is it that when someone is shot, he is left to bleed to death? Even if he is a confirmed criminal? |
@Stormm, I really feel your pain as it seems you are the only person here who is acquainted to both Ugo and his friend. But the truth remains that you need to be dispassionate to people's views here as most submissions are based only on the friend's version of the story. No need to lay curses yet. @Okija, Good job you've done in laying a preliminary case on the critical questions that the friend (prime witness/suspect at this time) needs to answer. I will also like to ask the friend; 1. When he returned to the crime scene, did he identify himself to the DPO as the friend that was with the deceased? 2. When Ugo was shot, was there proper illumination for possible target identification or was it just a random shot in the dark that picked out Ugo out of the two Honestly, this case looks more like an assassination than a drunken police accidental discharge. (someone pulled up, no conversation, did a double close-range shot to the chest and zoomed off) Whether it was done by police as professionals or using police gear as a camouflage is something that the inquest will unravel. Please, KC old boys, you guys need to keep this case on the front burner, let the homicide squad get down to work! |
![]() Callotti: I Will Follow. . . Chris Tomlinlol. Dude, you listen to christian music? Saul is surely among the Prophets! |
Odunnu: 6. National Library Enugu,This no 7. should be designated a relic! When was the last time you drove past there? Last time i passed there, the whole buiding was soaked in heavy brown dust! And i can bet the latest book there will likely be those published in the 60s! These government jobbers doesn't understand that well stocked and developed libraries can keep youths engaged in creative thinking, and free from crime activities. I have actually thought of building Private libraries and i'm following through with that peoject. |
HumbledbYGrace: As I was watching a christian movie called "Fireproof" the was a song about love,I checked out the lyrics and came to realise that,I have never loved a man and I have never been loved in return.well the way love is defined in the bible.Whoa! Whoa! I've been listening to this on youtube all morning. Really off the hook! I guess this song should be performed at weddings before people say 'i do' Please can you drop a link for the Fireproof movie download? |
osazee12: Hey guys , the guy on glasses is a friend and a fellow colleague(pharmacist),. He erred by dispensing a prescription drug without a prescription. That's all. He had no knowledge of the motives of the other suspects, neither did he participate in murder and rape of the victim in question. He is just a victim of poor investigation... I hope he is vindicated , and the family of the victim gets justice.Really? What a lame argument! And you are a what again? A Pharmacist? better say you are a 'chemist' shop operator and it will be more understandable. You went through a pharmacy college and you were not taught the difference between OTC and prescription drugs? Do you even know that you shouldn't sell 'common' Valium OTC? Not to talk of a drug 10x in potency? May be it is high time the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria gets it's acts together. |
