As for kids, have you been taking care of your niece all by yourself? Most MGTOW even hire nanny’s to deal with the kids. They can’t deal. This is what courts look at! Even women abuse kids that are not theirs out of frustration.

I think it is beneficial to some men to go MGTOW. Some become more and more desperate and bereft of confidence when they keep getting rejected. Going MGTOW and focusing on other things (not obsessing on MGTOW or women) will help them.

I have been taking care of my niece for the past 1.5 years so I know a thing or two about taking care of kids. Like I said, many courts are changing how they view these child rights and do not consider motherhood enough of a factor by itself. Most of Canada now does a strict 50-50 arrangement by default. American states each have different family laws so I don't know on that side.

And yeah, the strapon stuff is hilarious but not linked to MGTOW but to men in general. As for child rights, even in the animal kingdom, children stay with their mother’s until they are able to go out on their own. Exception is when the mother abandons them or is incapable of nurturing them because she is not mentally fit. Nature made it that way, just as a woman can’t impregnate herself. I am sure you don’t even realize the awesome needs of children and, how most men can’t even cope with being with them 24hrs. Until you have a child, you will truly understand. Most men who want custody of little kids do so out of spite, not that they can actually provide adequate care and attention.

While I am not MGTOW, I understand why some men are, especially in North America, not really in Nigeria yet, choose to go that way. Personally, I think a strong minority of men do not have self-respect and put themselves in the situations that led them to eventually consider MGTOW:
- marrying anybody
- feeling undeserving of love, etc.
- sustaining prostitution (some idiots even pay thousands of dollars for some girl to Bleep them with a strapon).
So, for the male race, I think some men SHOULD MGTOW until they respect themselves again.

As far as I know, MGTOW is not tied to Men's or Dad Rights groups. Moreover, these Dad rights groups are populated with women.

The alimony laws were created for women but were written in neutral language. The consequence is that it is equal. Many women's groups are now complaining because, divorced husbands/long term boyfriends, are now claiming alimony successfully.

The "patriarchy" assumed that women are "naturally" the better parent in the event of a split and so the child custody laws were not written in neutral language. They were written for women to be considered first in custody battles. Feminist groups used to challenge this perception when the laws were written and first took effect. However, a few jurisdictions consider everything and look at all factors, not just the possession of XX chromosomes.

MGTOW was primarily a response to divorce wars and courts in America.

There've been instances where:
- a lady unilaterally decides to give her baby up for adoption and the father can NOT apply to adopt.
- a woman gives birth to another man's baby but because she wrote your name on the certificate, you HAVE to provide
- A mentally unstable woman is given custody over her much more responsible husband, sometimes leading to the death of the kids
- Alimony
- The fact that there are ZERO men's shelters in the USA (there is now one in Toronto, Canada)
- The fact that if your wife or gf is physically assaulting you, you will be arrested "for her protection".

These were the initial reasons for MGTOW.
