I believe it's about time the conveners of the protests make public a clear agenda as to the exact purpose of the continued protests at this point. By the time various groups/sects start using the cover of the protest to air their own grievances, what we will have is simply going to be nothing but anarchy. The government should dialogue and negotiate, but who are the specific people to represent the youths in this dialogue and negotiations. Who exactly are those in charge of the protests at this point? For a movement to truly succeed, there has to be a united voice singing a united tune to effect a united purpose. If we're going to do something, be it protests or revolution, at least we must do it right. Too many moving parts will inadvertently make everything seem like needless troublemaking. |
descarado:Lmao, they are more lenient with females though... But your experience is funny ![]() |
I want to laugh, but someone died... ![]() |
descarado:You should know why ![]() I didn't join any of the protests physically, but I fully support it. ![]() My SARS experience was mostly in Uni, e don tay small... me and my friends na their customer then (mostly my friends anyway, cos I know to dey low-key wella). ![]() They even had one big police station with three floors at Alakahia, and na Uniport students dey fill the rooms there... You didn't even need to do much, just be inside your compound when they come for one their raids and they will pick up every student they see at home, label all of us yahoo boyz and cultists... Na just for you to bail yourself out o, nothing else... those officers dey mumu There was also one experience where they bundled me and my main niggie inside car to first bank ATM in Choba, emptied us out on top say my guy bought one BlackBerry phone he didn't know was stolen. Somebody later paid for this sha, the guy who sold him the phone...we go waylay am after the ordeal ![]() After Uni, I haven't really had any serious issues with them anywhere else. Just the usual road stops, but once they look at me (I don't particularly look like a Yahoo guy), them go just free me after small gist & sorting. The most serious encounter recently was in Lag last year, and that's because of the guy I was with... he has the stereotypical looks. We sha settled the matter quietly. |
bukatyne:I just felt like including them abeg... ![]() Since they went to settle fight involving senseless people, there's a good chance they have contracted senselessness from them. |
To their surprise, the man willed 80% of his property to his son, including his business and the house he currently lives in.And this is all that matters... What is right and what is wrong following the above courses of action taken by the dead man and by the grieving wife he left behind, is a non-issue after the fact. If this was a situation where the man had no will and there was this type of commotion, then we for help dem settle matter. But as it is now, everything that is happening as stated in the story simply boils down to goodwill – it's no more a case of what should/must happen or what should/must be done. If babymama and her son don't want to send money to the dead man's parents, it's well within their rights... a senseless decision it seems, but still within their rights to exercise. Assuming the dead man had any sense in the first place, he would have made provisions for his aged parents in the will... And assuming his aged parents had any sense, they would have tried to at least have a good relationship with their grandson all through the years despite the fact their late son wasn't married to his mother. There's really no big issue here... What we have is just a family made up of very senseless people – from the dead man to the baby mama to the aged parents, all senseless. The security men, probably senseless too. |

This is a VERY good move by the father, I figure he is positioning his boy to take over the company in the future or at least hold a top position. I've noticed that more informed parents today are making moves like this because the previous method of installing a son/daughter who just recently acquired their masters in the US or UK as an ED of your company when he/she has no real practical experience of the work you do there, usually results in more negatives than positives. I had a personal experience (as part of management) regarding how such can be disastrous to the growth of an organization, especially when such a son/daughter is given near-total control over the organization. Some are able to exercise restraint and learn the ropes to succeed, most would rather just exercise powers that will set the company on a downward trajectory. However, what the father has done here will hopefully make his son (when he becomes the top boss) understand his staff better, he'll be able to key in to their various needs because he has experienced what it is to be on the other side of management. |
Everything he said was actually making sense until he got to this part: If I stop you on the road and I want to have a look at your phone, I want to see your Facebook, I don’t think I have committed any crime because I am only asking you a simple question,” he said. Now I am very sure that most of these police officers are dumbfucks who know nothing about policing. |
khia:LOL, are you sure you're looking at the same list I be looking at? ![]() Donald Trump has chosen illegal aliens over citizens... Really? |
armyofone:But what's up with the 'm' you attached to your username? Na wah for this una gender dysphoria on this obodo NL... ![]() |
Learn to be responsible for ONLY your part in every conflict, you should never take responsibility for what the other person did/said. If she hurt your feelings and you're absolutely certain you did nothing to provoke it, then apologizing was a very bad idea. It means you don't have a healthy sense of your own self – this is quite common with boundaryless people. Even in instances where you must have done something to provoke it, you only have to meet the other person in the middle. Both of you will need to take responsibility and apologize for your parts in the conflict. Here's a short exposé of how a boundaryless person acts during a conflict

armyofone:Since when you grow preek put for your body? See this woman with her full melons and big nyansh...Maybe you mean your clit anyway, it's still the equivalent of a preek... all join ![]() |
armyofone:Demeaning for a man (hearing it) OR of a man (saying it)? |
armyofone:Lol, that's their problem... I was simply trying to understand if dēscarado meant her statement as a bad thing or as a good thing. As far as I know, if you tell any man that all you want from him is his preek and NOTHING else, you don't know the kind of thanksgiving he will give to God when he gets home. ![]() When it comes to sexual objectification, na women head dey sabi turn 360° for that kind talk... |
Franktom247:Lol, that's just how Black Americans talk ![]() |
KevinDein:LOL ![]() You know women hate it and find it very insulting if a man says he is only interested in their nunu as that's the only thing they have to offer, so I figure they assume that flipping the statement will deliver the same effect on men... They seem to forget that the male & female brain/emotional responses, simply do not work in the same way at all. |
mariahAngel:I swear I nor even understand all this your rants on top say I believe that divorceés can/should be fücked but NEVER married. Is this a bad thing? ![]() Weren't you on the first page saying the exact same thing about how YOU can't marry a divorced man? Did anyone tell you you're feeling special because of that? ![]() Abeg, take several seats... I ain't got the patience for some of you vagìna people and your emotional drivel. |
SilverNorGold:I hope you don't eat chicken, or any kind of meat for that matter... |
Kondomatic:Emphasis on marrying them right? Because I believe they can and should be fücked, it's service to humanity and also for the culture. Just don't wife them, and be very careful not to get roped into an unplanned pregnancy... ![]() |
descarado:Did you mean this as a bad thing, or as a good thing? ![]() From the perspective of men, it's a good thing na... LOL Just imagine walking up to a naija man and you tell him the only thing you need from him is his preek because he can't offer you anything else, is it not jackpot you have won for him like this? ![]() |
Faithful007:LOL, it's all about perspective... and me mentioning skyscrapers was just as an example. There's a whole lot of other infrastructure in NK that is world standard – their very efficient subway system is one also (an Australian international student studying in NK documented this). Looking on from the outside and given all the misinformation out there about that country, it's easy to choose what we already experience as freedom in comparison to what we assume we will lack if we were living in NK. But then, the system of government they practice has worked for them so far, so if prison life (according to you) is what got them where they are now, perhaps it's not so bad afterall. Besides, these restrictions in NK are just a stricter version of those in China but we don't hear people refer to China as a prison. If you were in China right now, you won't be able to access Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google, Wikipedia, Netflix, Twitter, etc, also, most of the western MSM outlets are banned there. And if Nairaland had a Chinese version, all those people insulting Buhari and APC won't even have the guts to do it. ![]() Despite all of this, the country is the second biggest economy in the world and is well on the way to overtaking the US as a dominant world power. It's working for them (NK, China), and that's what matters – not every country on earth is supposed to act, behave, or run their government like the west does. |
TransAtlanticEx:My brother, I taya for who nor taya for women... ![]() Remain small, a shoulder to cry on will become a preek to ride on. |
Lol, the only reason he may not win is COVID-19. This is the only thing the opposition keeps using against him, they don't have ammo anymore... ![]() |
sheffyli:Okay na... https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/stuff1.gif |
They are already fücking, or they are going to start very soon – even your prayers will not prevent it. The earlier you come to terms with this, the better for you. Nor dey let woman matter disturb your peace of mind. |
The US Department of Defense later said it would be consulting with its Asian allies to analyse the parade. What do they want to analyze? This police country sef... LOL Have they finished analyzing what to do with the over 6,000 nuclear warheads they own? It's that small number owned by North Korea that gives them sleepless nights. I wonder why they have not invaded the country yet. I mean, an underdeveloped country filled with hungry citizens (like they want us to believe), can't be that hard... ![]()
|
SirMichael1: Ikillbrokehoes:Lmao... So you really believe that? For a country that is so isolated from the world and has been under heavy sanctions, it's citizens are definitely enjoying better development than Nigerians. I mean, is there anywhere in your country that looks as good as the photos below? I DARE you to name one place/state, just one... ![]() **** Yes their government maintains control, but don't underestimate the country – Educationally, they are doing okay. Industrially, Technologically, and when it comes to infrastructure, they are doing quite well. The Nigerian military is still buying fairly-used attack helicopters from Russia yet they will announce and parade it like they have achieved something... People who are hungry and starving can not be responsible for developing that country to a good enough standard, especially when we know that NK does not allow foreigners in willy-nilly... meaning they did it all by themselves, with some help from the Chinese of course. It's not like in Nigeria where the few skyscrapers you boast of are all built by foreign companies.

The real question, is it affecting his grades or does he still come out with good scores after exams? Either way, arranging extra classes by hiring a private lesson teacher should make him better all round. |
She was definitely testing him... Either that or she was depressed, like really depressed. |
