Actually ancient China was more sophisticated than Rome, when it come to weapons, the ancient Chinese uses gun powder to power their arrows and projectiles, giving their weapons a much greater range. If we are to talk of economic, 80% of people in ancient Rome are poor compare to ancient China which was one of the wealthiest empire up to 1830s.
I can't believe that guy. Comparing ancient China and the Roman empire, lol.

This is what happens when people only watch CNN.

so because you read the art of war, you think you know world history?

You are not even funny... This is nasty.

China more or less war with its smaller neighboring communities which are mostly other Chinese rebels.

And if they've got the kind of sophisticated ships that the English have, the same fire power and means of communication they could have had world domination.

Or you don't also know that getting orders is an important aspect of conquering a nation?

Like I said, you shroud your ignorance in mystery to appear intelligent.

China in time do not possess half the sophistication Britain has. China is not even up to the Roman empire in terms of sophistication.
Lmao, I've given you dates and names. Go educate yourself and stop spitting rubbish.

I asked you a simple question in that comment but you managed to dodge it, where was the US and the rest of the west during the time of the great Chinese dynasties?

US wasn't even a country when China first completed the great wall (201–206BC), and you're yapping about the Roman empire that didn't exist until the time of the Christian Jesus Christ.

You must be a joker...

Really? What do you call their loans to Africa countries? How would you give an African country a loan you know they can't pay back and the only they need was to take over their Army.... what do you think such country would do when it becomes the world power? I laugh all of una hailing China...work with them and you will know they don't see Africans as people that count.
Where did you hear this from? grin
Is it the Nigerian army with its outdated equipment that China who already has nuclear weapons, needs to take over?

Dude, the Chinese does not like westerners either. The only reason they won't dare treat an American/British person the way they treat an African, is because US/British government cares and protects its citizens.

You want China to see you as someone that counts when your own uncle with same blood in Abuja does not even treat you well... but the day he will dash you small money, you will still hail him.

U dey yarn okoto... Nations rise and fall... China's time has gone, just like Rome and Greece...
It's so good you know that, so I wonder people like you don't want the US to fall.

Let another country become a world power too, are we not saying the same thing?
The US won't hold that position forever whether you like it or not.

when was China a world power? When did they step into Africa?
They never stepped into Africa to dominate it even though they had the power to do so, that's the point my man.
The chinese would rather gain territory from their closest neighbours and solidify their position into one strong boundary, than spreading themselves too thin.

Read the Art of War, by Sun Tzu.

Also research on world history.
Where was the US and the collective west during the periods of the most powerful Chinese dynasties: Tang dynasty (626AD–649AD), Ming dynasty (1368 AD- 1468).
The latter was well-known for its military (navy & army) might.

But it was black folks who sold other black folks to slavery: correct me if I am wrong.
My nigga, you make it seem like it was the black folks who called the westerners to our borders before the slave era began

Their ships berthed on the African coast with the sole intent of taking Africans into slavery. The only way they could successfully do this was to make use of Africans themselves, already well-known for our greed and lack of camaraderie.

you can't continue to use the past to judge the west.

An what reasons have you that if China or Russia or God forbid Germany if given the same power at that time would not have done the same or even worst.

Better still, what makes you think that if you as a Nigerian given the same power at that time would not have erred in similar fashion?

The black slave that were returned to Freetown turned the community upside down. Forgetting that they were freed slaves, they seized power from the less exposed natives and gain access to the best part of the town.

I'm not justifying Americans or the west for what they have done, but no one is a Saint. Its just chance and circumstances and we are glad to be living in a different time.

Unfortunately, China till date still think the black race is meant to be stamped upon.
Check my comment above, China has been in that position of world power before.

The concept of slavery is alien to the founding principles of Communism/Marxism and Socialism, which is what those countries practice. They'd rather expand by land-grabbing territory from their neighbours, NOT overseas.

Can't say the same for imperialists/capitalists like the US with all their military bases scattered everywhere in people's backyards. cheesy

You needn't worry bro, it may just be your grandchildren who will enjoy that world... not you grin

There was a time the world was dominated by China way before the industrialization of Europe, even before the US existed, yet they did not put your African ancestors in chains.
But for some reason, it's the ones who used your people as slaves the moment they got little power, that you trust.

Na the sad reality wey many people dey face be dat.

A woman I once knew, who had four children with her husband, endured all kinds abuse throughout their relationship. Physical, verbal, mental, emotional...
At first the children would cry and cry, then gradually, they got used to it.
Their mum and dad would be fighting in the bedroom, they'd be in the sitting room, watching TV comfortably as if nothing was going on.
The woman would always say she's enduring because of her children, at a point, she got fed!
She decided that all she wanted was PEACE in her life and nothing more, and that if she died, her kids will continue to live without her.
When she had made up her mind to leave, her husband couldn't convince to stay any longer.

My mum just advised her that she should try not to have another child with a different man.
The OP is made up, it doesn't imply there are no bad marriages.

Hmmmmmmm...I've talked to my dad but he is not budging because I believe he wants to have the pride his daughter has a hospital and he also feels that we both have a government job and my sister does not, so that's her compensation.
I also blame my brother too, because he would have renovated there and lived in it.

I just feel my dad and sister would have been more tactical and shown regard towards my brother.
I don't follow this.

Is she not already more wealthy than both of you who have government jobs?

Well the bottom line is, whatever they were gonna decide, they should have involved your brother whom the flat was originally allocated to.
It's just simple courtesy, and it eliminates bad blood.

Nigeria has refineries that are not working, we should be refining our own crude oil which would make it cheaper.

Family › Re: My Siblings And My Father's Property... by crackhaus: 8:45am On Oct 01, 2020
It's quite obvious here that your sister never had any regard for your elder brother, and she may also be a greedy person.
Your father who honestly should know better, has allowed himself to be used as the tool to bring about discord in your family.

Please, I need advice so the love we share will not be destroyed.
Your father is the one you should be talking to about this. He is using his own hand to destroy the love that should exist between his children... and all for what? Because he gets a lot of money from your sister.

I'm sorry to say, but he is not wise.

If he didn't want your brother to earn money (rent) on the flat while he is alive, why then would he allow your sister use it as a clinic where she will also earn money?

Makes no damn sense...

For someone who already owns 100 sheep and goats & is planning to acquire an additional 15 cows and 4 camels per girl by the time they get married, this massa seems to be doing well given the metrics of measurement for wealth in his community. grin

Those that believe he is poor, oya enter cattle market go price live cow, goat and sheep... then multiply each by 15, 100, & 100 respectively. If you see camel there, price am too..
