I guess just pretending/acting like an advocate of peace even though you don't live up to it, is enough to merit the award.

Honestly, this is the major reason rather than some mumbo-jumbo emotional reasons. The GDP growth rate has been below 3% for the past five years, people graduate and cannot get a befitting job with a take home salary that can do something reasonable. Unfortunately, economic policies by the government coupled with multiple yet punitive taxes have rendered businesses weak. Also, some of these families have children way above a certain threshold that they can handle.

While it is a good and humane thing to take care of one's parents, please consider the economy. It is from that same economy money would come from not some imaginary tree. This is also a lesson for the present generation (25-35), give birth to the number of children you and your partner can adequately take care of. The economy hasn't grown past 5%, unemployment rate ditto underemployment rate are above 50%, oil which generates more than 70% of Nigeria's forex is selling way below the benchmark price, you have stoopid and cretinous rulers masquerading as politicians etc. Don't procreate with the mindset of "go ye into the world and multiply" - the Bible did not preach irresponsibility.
All this is besides the point honestly...

When it comes to being there for aged parents, what matters is EFFORT.

If everyone starts using the economy as an excuse, or waiting till they blow before they can show concern for their aged parents (or even other people generally), then very few people will render assistance to others on earth.
Even Dangote sef still dey find money...

I want nothing to do with my child anymore I am tired of the insult , I know that when she is old enough she will come looking for me and I will explain to her how her mother and grandmother treated me like a shit with no respect , I hope she will understand and forgive. I am devastated that I will never see my child again but what do i do
Perish this thought...
The only people you should want nothing to do with here are the two marine spirits you call your babymama and her mother.

You must find a way to remain in your child's life, just find a way. You don't have to be on good terms with the mother or grandmother for this to happen because you don't need their permission, na your pikin...

The motivation behind your continued involvement should be to provide a balance (emotional, psychological, and spiritual) for your daughter.
I fear that if you leave her alone completely, there's a very good bad chance she'll grow up to repeat the same patterns of behaviour displayed by her mother and grandmother.

It's a very important step to always know a lady's mother, or at least find out what people think about her, just so you can have an idea what you may have to deal with later on.

Too late for all this now in your case anyway.

I didn't mean to be sarcastic joor, I just asked the question as it came to my mind.

Its not a disorder now, I do the bolded when I need it to get chilled very fast( when you want to eat it immediately) and then remove before it freezes but if it will still take some hours before consumption then it goes into the fridge. I believe that's why you see people put in the freezer.
Lol, now this makes sense cheesy

This is what I keep explaining to trumpees, it's politics. No one is perfect, there was a time republicans pulled that country in a landslide, na election no be fight. If pence was the president I bet the hatred won't be this much even if he has the same political standing trump had on issues because he would talk when necessary like Obama, Bush 2nd, Clinton, Carter, Bush 1st, Reagan e.t.c trump has criticised and made mouth a lot before he became president, so when he became president people were holding him to the criticism and promises he made, and as we can see he did the opposite of what he claimed, and he didn't even stop talking he still kept insulting and fighting about like a fifth-grade bully, makes no sense.
True on all counts

Wow so one should get a freezer for permanent storage and another that can be opened at will ( lemme add if light is not constant), I can't even count how many times I have opened the freezer today cry
Lol, I can sense your sarcasm but there is a point to that comment.

No such thing as permanent storage, the idea is to simply not open it too often especially when electricity is not constant, this will keep altering the temperature inside of it.

Things like bottled water (especially), soft drinks, beverages, snacks, etc, which you often need access to, don't need to be put inside a freezer...unless you're one of those people who just love drinking/eating cold freezing things.
Heck, I've seen people who prepare salad and put it inside a freezer – I still don't understand this particular disorder.

Personally, I don't drink anything cooler than room temperature when at home, unless I absolutely have to. Warm water is what I take after my meals.

Pence would have been better president than trump.
Maybe, maybe not.

But what is certain is that he would be a better composed, more respected president.

There would also be very few things he could say that can be used against him, because he calculates his words much more carefully than Trump.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US Vice Presidential Debate Holds Tonight. by crackhaus: 4:52pm On Oct 07, 2020
It seems some of you don't realize that Pence is the most calm, composed, and level-headed individual you would ever want to debate with.

The man has a certain charisma when he speaks that makes you want to listen, much unlike his boss Trump.

While Kamala could be a worthy opponent against someone like Trump who loves to react to every little thing, I don't expect this to be an easy win for her with Pence.
I can definitely see her doing a lot of ranting while Pence responds with his characteristic smirks without missing a single breath.

Ah the normal grinder, that big one that makes so much noise, the one that the woman would be using stick to force the tomatoes inside grin

For the bolded, that one is no longer about foodstuff management, that is something else. grin grin

But what i can say is, if ice in the freezer melts after one day, maybe the freezer needs to be changed(i know it would cost money, but it would serve you better in the long run).
the small chest freezer i have here, it stays for 3 to 4 days before the ice melts completely.
This is true.. it's not supposed to 'completely' defrost even if turned off for a maximum of 24hrs.

Another trick is to avoid putting things like drinking water, beverages, or any stuff that will require you to constantly open the freezer to retrieve them.

All that opening will just make it defrost faster than necessary.

Work from home and/or online classes.
Good you mentioned work, meaning there's an income coming in to cover spending such amounts on data.

Basically more or less the same amount one would have spent for transportation/fueling if they were going out to work everyday, so it makes sense..

Other than the above situation, and if a person is not making money from the internet yet spends so much on data, they better reorganize their lives.

Well said.
People should try Gotv. Honestly.
My mum was telling to buy a tv and Dstv. I told her I don't watch tv anymore, unlike when I was younger.
The only thing that brings me to tv is football. And streaming has taken over so, nothing concern me and tv for now.
People should learn to, Live within their means and cut out unnecessary expenditure.
And even if they have the means, throwing away money is wrong.
Doesn't have to be GOtv sef, although it's still a good choice. I personally don't fancy it for its limited functions.
But then even with DStv, I see no reason to pay for a bouquet with over 200 channels whether the money is available or not. It's completely ridiculous.

I can't remember the last time I tuned into/watched more than 3/4 channels on DStv in one single day.
Family › Re: An Average Home Monthly Expenses: by crackhaus:
Lol, how many homes are spending 247k a month based on this list though? Very funny cheesy

This one is for people who want to do big man/woman, which is not a bad thing if you have the financial flexibility.
However for a budget family, that list above can be trimmed down...

DStv 12k – This is unnecessary especially when you spend most of your day at work...unless you nor get work, and in which case, there's definitely no need. I mean who will watch all the channels on a 12k DStv bouquet when they are hardly home? The house na hotel?
There's a compact family bouquet for less then 5k with enough quality channels (sports, cartoons, news, series, movies, educational).

Internet 20k – Obviously for people who are always on Instagram and YouTube watching videos wey no concern them. 20k will give you 110GB on MTN for one month, even more on other networks.
Tell me one profitable thing that a busy man/woman who isn't into any online business will be using all this data for in a month?

Foodstuff 150k – Let me leave this one for women, only una know the food wey una wan use 150k cater for in a month, and for how many people.
Unless you're implying that couples who are making a combined income of say 200k are not eating properly, or those earning a combined 300k are using half of it for only food abi... Mehhhhhhh!
One wise man be don talk say belle nor be show-glass.

Fuel 30k – Depending on your car engine's type, and how much time you spend driving around (you're not doing Uber o), this can also be reduced.
Nor be every time you go dey run AC, and please stick to buying cars that will conserve fuel. Comot eye for V6/V8 and luxury vehicles dem.

Deliberately left out expenses on the maid and electricity, as these can be fixed and may not be cut down.

Summary: If one has the income to support a 247k monthly expense bill, please go for it.
The ones who like to act like big man/woman with their less then 300k a month income, you better receive sense and be guided...

AGED PARENTS.
One Parent Can Readily/
Happily Take Care Of 5 Kids,
But at Old Age, 5 Kids Can't Take Care of their 1 Parent. Why?
It's witchcraft.
All five of them should go for special prayers to be delivered from the spirit of wickedness and ungratefulness.

This is me assuming of course, that the parent isn't a witch/wizard, and the children are simply paying them back for a life of misery.
If this is not the case however, then revert to my opinion in the first paragraph. cool
