Family › Re: Help! My Husband Thinks I Spend Too Much by crackhaus: 7:14pm On Nov 19, 2019 |
wired4comfort: I need a neutral person's opinion on this. I spend between 30-35k every other month on food and other consumables. my husband thinks it's too much because it's just the two of us. Do you think it's too much? pls offer tips on how to spend less. thanks This information is not enough to work with. Break down how you spend your 30-35k, then people could help cut down on those things you might be over-spending on while eliminating those you don't particularly need. Alternatively, you could just supply the information to your husband and have him do the cutting down and eliminating...then do a test run of his result for the next month. |

doitforyou: [s]Don’t mind them. They’ve retired “Linda Ikeji” and they’ve taken up another supposed feminist hypocrite. Glory’s shtick was that of a financially successful CEO that is a feminist. She never revealed her private life and she never claimed to be single. However, because people don’t think it’s possible for a feminist to be a successful married woman, some people decided to cry foul.
The irony, the real hypocrisy that they should’ve focused on was that she was probably not that successful, the businesses she ran with her husband were exposed as fraud, allegedly.[/s] I have no doubt that you spend most of your time living inside your head & conversing with yourself to actually believe any of the misinformation you type so confidently. Dunning-Kruger is a damn bítch. |

doitforyou: [s]I have noticed this new trend of “an advice is bad because the person dishing it isn’t eating it.” A good advice is a good advice. Steve Harvey’s relationship was a mess but his relationship book became a bestseller. Apparently those that bought it saw value in it. Some doctors smoke. We have good divorced marriage therapists. Some abused women will come online to tell another abused woman to leave her marriage, is it a bad advice because the abused woman giving the advice refuses to leave her own marriage? If you are foolish (not you) enough to apply an advice that doesn’t benefit you then you deserve the negative outcome.[/s] Only someone with an undiagnosed manifestation of the Dunning-Kruger effect would type, read, and believe this off-point load of steamy crap made any sense. |

Billionsclub: Women are only reflection of what men makes of them. This statement is valid ONLY if it encompasses the positives as well as the negatives. What I mean is this - your statement also implies that for every great woman out here who has made a name for herself in her society and in the larger world, her successes are nothing else but only a reflection of what men made of her. Is this your supposition? |

sassysure: @op, u have to shift ground a bit. U don't like movies, u don't like football, what do u like?
My husband loves rap music with passion and Nigerian musicians. I hate these group of people but because of him, I know about davido and wizkid etc. Phyno, òlamide, American rappers, name them. All of us are nigars (ABI whatever u wanna call them) in this house .
Imagine me, rapping

He too has adjusted to some of the things I like. She probably only likes to cuddle, have sex, and listen to him whisper sweet nothings into her ears from morning till night. She has no interests, has nothing to talk about, and is also a complainer. The man even suggested they stay home to watch movies together, but aunty nagged him back to his friends place again. Such a bore. |

bukatyne: Competing with ke.
He has additional 4 wives.
All yellow pawpaw.
It was just her turn then. I don't think she is deillusional enough to think she or any woman can keep Ned to herself.
He seems a man easily bored with women.
Something tells he lost the woman he really loved back in the day to a richer man so he is on sort of a 'revenge' spree.
I heard he has also slept with some actresses despite the exotic women he has at home. Who is talking about yellow paw paw? That is a Moroccan damnnit. I've always wondered who birthed those bi-racial kids Regina Daniels is always posing with in Photos. |
Family › Re: Why Do Women Feel That Men And Powers That Be Are Always Persecuting Them? by crackhaus: 2:33pm On Nov 18, 2019 |
Complete lack of responsibility. I believe most females are not taught to take charge of their own lives and accept responsibility for anything that happens to them.
Teenage girls blame their parents for being too controlling, single adult girls blame men for sexualizing them, married women blame husbands for problems in the marriage, divorced women blame society for judging them, dead women meet their maker and blame him for making them women in a cruel world. |
Family › Re: Can A Man Sue His Wife In Nigeria If Child’s Paternity Test Comes Back Negative? by crackhaus: 6:54am On Nov 18, 2019*. Modified: 3:04pm On Nov 18, 2019 |
In Nigeria, there is no legal precedence YET for paternity fraud suits, it only just gained momentum in the developed world within the last 30years and I am glad they are creating laws that also put the interests of men over malicious women.
I have heard of the case of a man in California who had been paying child support to his ex-wife for years, only to discover after DNA testing that the children were never his. He sued her, and although the lower courts ruled against him (California is largely pro-women), by the time he got to the court of appeal, the decision of the lower courts was rescinded and he was awarded damages in addition to ending all child support payments to his ex.
Nigeria will get there.
Best thing now is for men to always have DNA testing done on their children immediately after they are born, don't let love and sweet pùnani block common sense. Any woman that will vex because of this probably has something to be afraid of. |

FrLukas: Fourth, I do hope you have a job because your husband cannot satisfy every need and hunger in your soul. You too need to have experiences apart from your husband. That will give you new and interesting things to talk about together. This. All I keep reading is 'my needs', 'neglecting me'...me, me, me, me.Like a baby... Jeez If she was really an introvert, this crying would not have been so much because introverts thrive in their own company. What we have here is just an attention hog whose company isn't that interesting to keep her husband invested, no wonder he is spending more time outdoors. I bet the OP is also a world-class nag. |

Jadeobee you are most definitely a bore, you probably can't hold a conversation that will capture his attention for more than 20mins. If no one was going to tell you this awful truth, I will & just did.
If you were interesting, your husband would spend more of his time with you and even if he has to hang with his boys, he will certainly make sure you tag along and try to keep you involved in their conversation. |
Family › Re: How Can I Make Friends? by crackhaus: 7:19pm On Nov 17, 2019 |
Next time you're going to a social event/gathering, invite a friend or your partner/spouse to tag along with you. If none of the above are available, invite an acquaintance - someone you're still getting to know.
The point is to always avoid going alone to places where you're not sure you'll know anyone, it will save you from looking like a serial killer sitting awkwardly in one corner. |

OP, please go ahead & invite a babe to your house, prepare a space for her in your room. Double your bed thickness (you would need it), change the wood to a very strong one. Harmattan period is coming & you don't want to be hugging pillows all alone.
Start buying baby things too & let her start preparing for Antenatal, God bless. Congrats to daddy in advance |
Family › Re: Married Men, Can You Tolerate This? And Married Ladies Are You All The Same? by crackhaus: 9:43am On Nov 15, 2019 |
Illuminated993: When I see married men scared about the possibility of their wives cheating on them, its always funny to me. When I was 25, my gf, whom I had been in a relationship with for 3yrs+, cheated. That single event changed my life. It taught me that it is a sin for a man to be in love to such an extent that he can't picture series of happy moments without his woman. That event taught me never to develop feelings for any human, because you can't precisely predict how they will change with time. Mind you, anybody can change. So, if it so happens that my wife cheats, I don't think I will die, because I understand that it's in the nature of humans to be fallible. I will just think critically about the reasons why I should send her packing or possibly, forgive her. I can't say for sure if I would send her packing or accommodate her. But what I'm very sure about is the fact that I won't be surprised she cheated. Humans change. And that's one reason a man must never love or trust so much. You truly are illuminated. Only people who have broken out of the world-imposed mental prison and gained enlightenment, can understand this. |
