Best wishes to Kanu.

Hopefully he and Sunday will learn to be more careful in speech and tactics. Peaceful negotiations may be the best way forward after all the trauma. Hopefully the elders will consider the wishes of the people in whatever they do.

Omoluabi1stborn:
In accordance with the principle of an Omoluabi

Which are
Oro Siso (Spoken word, the Yoruba accord great respect for intelligent and expert use of language)

Iteriba (Respect)

Inu Rere (Good will, Having a good mind towards others)

Otito (Truth)

Iwa (Character)

Akinkanju (Bravery)

Ise (Hardwork)

Opolo Pipe (Intelligence)
I wish we could go back to teaching this from primary school level. This was informally taught through stories, songs, poems, words of wisdom/proverbs many years back. Also taught formally during Yoruba lessons. It made an impact on our lives hence the lower level of criminality those days.

I remember "Ise logun ise", "Ise agbe nise ile wa", "Iya tonje ole ko kere", "Omo to mo iya re loju o" etc. smiley

Great values!

Benin Republic don’t joke with fake passport issue, they have stringent rule of law, Sunday must be charge to court after 3days in commissariat.

The truth is, Sunday igboho will be sentence to prison in Benin that is 95% certain if he is found guilty of fake Benin international passport in his possession.

Benin don’t joke with their international passport and they take their law serious, even their popular politicians “Atao” is in prison
Hmm! You're probably right. He's caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Great pity. All he fought for is peace and progress for his people. May God grant him what is best under the circumstances.

Clear your mind of what is and what was, just look at these facts.

Group 1. Takes arms, Ak47 and gunships, kills soldiers and civilians unprovoked, to establish a Muslim caliphate.

Group 2. Takes arms and other dangerous weapons and charms, kill and rape civilians in their homes and farms. Destroy their means of livelihood, unprovoked. To take their lands for cattles farms.

Group 3. Takes placards and posters, goes to streets and internet to protests the unwarranted killing of their people. Beckoning the govt to act. Instead, the government kills them (10/10/20). Now they came back, requesting self-determination (protection and
equity and fairness, referendum to decide secession)

The first group when mistakenly captured are released within weeks, given nice clothes and warm meal, perhaps finacial assistance to rehabilitate them. They are sorry for their actions, or so they say!

The second group are legitimate business men, give them your lands or they will kill you and take it. Afterall, what's the point of having a land if you're dead. (Nasir El Rufai ft Femi Adesina). Note, police don't arrest these ones too, their business requires that they carry AK47 for protection.

Now, the Third Group, they are the problems of the country, terrorists, proscribed groups, enemies of state, just name it. They must be killed at all cost. The police and Army have been directed to open fire on them anytime, anyhow, anywhere. The FG is ready to break international laws to arrest them.

No matter what you worship, no matter what you believe in, no matter what where you come from, if you think for one second...
Hmmm! God is on the throne.

You can't expect an oppressor to have anything good to say about those who are not happy with his style of governance. Our forefathers had to do whatever it takes to get the leeches off their backs. That of course would have brought out the worst in them like any normal human being. The circumstances wasn't the right basis to judge anyone.

Who says the British of that era were better? Slave dealers and merchants who partitioned Africa for their selfish interests.

What value does this add to the dead? How does this guarantee going to heaven?

The poor in the village are expected to be happy seeing all these without a major impact on their lives. The roads in the village could at least have been graded and topped with some granite given all the money being thrown around.

It just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm usually surprised by how intellectually sound and brilliant some of our Pastors are:

In 1976, DKO was admitted into the University of Lagos (Unilag) to study Microbiology. He graduated from Unilag in 1980 with a first-class degree in Microbiology. He was the first person to have achieved a first-class in the course at the university and his G.P.A is still the highest recorded so far (as at February 2010) in that course.

Soon after graduation, DKO won a scholarship to study for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Despite the natural difficulty of the programme, DKO earned his PhD in 3 years and returned to Nigeria.
Impressive! Happy birthday to him.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can You Accept A FG Job As An SSCE Holder When You Have An HND? by delpee(f): 2:43pm On Jul 15, 2021
If you have nothing else right now, take up the offer. The best thing is to study part time for a degree thereafter. It's usually difficult trying to present certificates that were not disclosed at the point of entry.

I know a young man who had been jobless. He got into a parastatal with SSCE as a driver and applied for approval to study. He has since graduated from UniAbuja and was upgraded accordingly.

Alternatively, still search for other jobs with your HND while working there. You can also work towards having a line of business that you can build on based on your profession or interest.

There is an ongoing govt sponsored ethnic cleansing going on in Nigeria.Do u know till today Hell Rufai has not named a new king after the last Adara king at Kajuru was killed by Kidnappers/Herdmen.But he named a new Emir of Zazzau within a week of death of former. He even went as far as installing an emir for d Kajuru people,a 98% Christian dominated area.Buhari n Hell Rufai are state sponsoring killings of Christians in Nigeria. We already at war in Nigeria,we all in trouble.
Why can't Adara people insist on having their own king if they so desire?
