Politics › Re: 5 Reasons Why Invading Niger Republic Will Be Tinubu's Waterloo by delpee(f): 9:20pm On Aug 01, 2023
We have more than enough problems to deal with on the home front. If Nigeriens support the coupists as shown on TV, we should mind our business. US and France bases are there. Wagner is around the corner. Let's not get involved in a proxy war.

Besides, ECOWAS couldn't solve the problems in Mali, Burkina Faso and Guinea. How's this going to be different?

Our insecurity issues is enough for us to deal with. We already have too many IDPs. We don't need more.

Foreign Affairs › Re: AU Gives Niger Military Junta 15 Days To Return Bouzam To Power by delpee(f): 4:52pm On Jul 30, 2023
The Western world is only protecting their interests in the Uranium deposits there. Of course, they'll expect AU/ECOWAS to fight their battle. Niger is a rich country but is one of the poorest economies in the world. The people are simply tired of their poverty in the midst of great blessings.

That doesn't mean the coupists will do better but the people seem to prefer to have that option.

1 Samuel 15vs 3:

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle ...

Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but. a sword
.

Luke 19:27
“But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.”
Very poor understanding and outright misinterpretation of the Bible. Quoting single verses from any Holy Book often presents the wrong impression. You need to read through for better understanding of the context in which any statement is made.

Hope this properties not acquired by ojukwu father ? Because ojukwu father is a billionaire too if its their father properties and mr ojukwu confiscated them for his own personal use I'm employing the family to calm and appeal the case...The same thing happened in my family but thank God the supreme court settled the matter amicably.

But you see those areas where the properties located no be child play oo.
It seems that the court is referring to the fact that Ojukwu held the properties in trust on behalf of the family. Bianca's sons will ultimately be entitled to the portion that belongs to their dad in conjunction with his other children.

I'm not a lawyer, just my understanding of the report. The case is ongoing.

True

The election that produces the drug baron is the worse in Nigeria history. They claimed he has political sagacity but cannot win Lagos, Osun and FCT even with rigging. Shame on Tinubu.
Same election produced other candidates across the political parties in most of the states. With the old system, many of those in the legislature and some governors would not have won.
Family › Re: My Husband’s “runs Girl” Used Juju On Him; Wife Of Defunct Skye Bank Chairman by delpee(f): 8:43pm On Jul 29, 2023
nedekid:
Sister, I know this people personally. This lady and the husband started life small, small. Both lawyers. She believed him him when he had nothing, just a skinny young man. She is chiefs daughter. Raised in a proper home, humble, as they struggled together. She will go abroad, work and use the money to buy equipments for her passion, tailoring. This man worked in one small cubicle of an office in one company in ogba. When kids started comming, the ladys parents house was where the kids will be dropped for days to allow the young couple free movement. There was no fantastic money then.
Overtime fate smiled in this family and they became wealthy, billionaires. The man, a perfect gentleman. Never knew he could add weight though as he was a slim fine man then, still handsome now.
Perfect family, just a mistake with that lady ie an affair. She hooked patanity of her second child on the man.
What do you expect his wife of over 30 years, marraige they had in their youth to do? Everything they own, they built together. Mind you, the wife too is a lawyer just as her husband.
Abeg, she should go all out, stick to her husband and make sure that lady does not destroy anything.
The man should make sure he makes a proper will protecting his family and domicile assets in trusts with his wife and kids as beneficiaries. If not, should anything happen to him, that intruder will fight them to the end.
Thanks for this. The woman is wise. She needs to defend her home or she loses all she has worked for. We've seen loving families breaking up and men later regreting their misteps when it's too late. Some well known people readily come to mind. One has to distinguish between a man being truly interested in having another wife and one having a fling gone awry. His wife understood the situation and is doing the right thing. May peace and love be fully restored in their home.

However, if a DNA test shows that the child is his, madam should encourage him to provide for the child separately. It's the right thing to do.

They need to publicise what is happening there more. Get the TV stations and newspapers to do features on them so people can understand what is going on and judge fairly. It's important to know how and why people no longer have their ancestral villages to go back to and how that can be remedied. No one should be rootless.

Yesterday I saw Father Alia of Benue visiting a badly managed IDP camp with UN officials. The UN official was surprised that they're worse off than the North East that we know has been great turmoil. Of course, one expects support for the people henceforth. Hopefully, they will be resettled in their villages as is being done in the North East.

It's important to create sufficient awareness on matters that affect lives. No one outside the area will know if you don't shout and enlighten us.

It's annoying that a 14 year old is being put through so much agony but I'm more shocked by the sense of reasoning of the activist in charge of empowerment.
Maybe she'll be happier dealing with the poor girl as a VVF patient which is probably what they tried to avoid by calling the only available doctor.

As if he wasn't a president of the same country for 8 years.

Has he explained how PTDF money was used under his watch?

Has he explained how $16B was used for power rehabilitation without any power improvement?
No $16billion was actually disbursed. Of the portion that was spent, equipments ordered were delivered and left at the ports for years after he left. They have been put to use to improve power supply under PMB according to reports available online. That's why people like Ezekwesili rose in his defense.

That's not to say he's an angel.

Sometimes I feel that those who defame or emotionally abuse people online should be dealt with as appropriate under the law. Perhaps that will put some sense into their deficient brains to reduce what comes out of their uncouth mouths.

How can any sane person be happy that children are suffering and thanking Jesus for that. Same Jesus Christ who loved children and provided food for 5000 people at once?

Wicked soul indeed!

@OP
The tribe of the guy is irrelevant. It seems he's not even Igbo. Please change the title. Criminals are the same irrespective of the tribe.

Today, he is telling them to hand over their weapon of the little defence they may not even possess,🙄 while the fulanis invaders move about with military grade weapons unchallenged.

This country is a big mistake, dividing it is the only solution.

God! I don't want to apologize to Buhari ooo... 🤦🏽‍♂️
Ha! I thought he's trying to be fair to all parties. The Army needs to tread cautiously so as not to end up brewing more trouble in the area. It's painful when one sees indigenous people being forcefully dispossessed of their lands and ending up in IDP camps which destabilises them for long periods of time. Perhaps it's better to understand the grievances on both sides and sort that out first. Stories from Plateau and Southern Kaduna are so disheartening.

Yes, they need to reduce cost of governance. I don't see why we need a 2 tier legislature that we end up funding with loans.

We also need to recover stolen funds. The poor can not continue to tighten their belts till they virtually disappear while the rich live in luxury.

Let's use the savings for much needed infrastructure across the country in the health, education, agriculture, power and transportation sectors at least.
