They might even tag Amaechi ipob..bunch of senseless fools Yet the idiot has been part of the same failed regime in the past 8 years? Is there no option to resign or what? In saner climes, people resign from positions if what's going on in in the entity is not in tandem with their moral values. |

ChngedChnges: Okay am from Abia and the state of my state is giving me serious concerns. YPP or LP i believe there will be a new phase in Abia State. And seeing the credentials of the LP candidate i believe he'll do better. The YPP candidate being a part of this administration that kept destroying market and rebuilding them like snails rendering many stranded and frustrated doesn't deserve our attention. Atleast for now Thank God there's obviously going to be a change in the party in charge of the State. I earnestly pray Alex Otti will not squander the goodwill he has now when he eventually takes the rein of power. |

hardbody: Let me tell you free that this guy had been using his personal funds to develop communities and tar roads both in Arochukwu and Aba. He has been doing lots of things long before now and he has continued even when he had been robbed of electoral victories. All politicians do not fit into your regular mould. People are first who they are before they allow political motives and desires to shape them. I know Alex more personally than you may ever do. My prayers is that he'll perform. I have no joy to derive if he doesn't. But you know it takes more than just being a good man or a philanthropist to succeed as a public administrator. Governance is not just 1+1. And no, you don't know him better than I do, unless of course he's your Dad. |

It'll be a great mistake if Alex Otti wins the seat all because people just wants to vote anything LP for whatever reason best known to them. Then again, I'm not from Abia, so it's their choice to make. I won't be going any near the East in the next 8 years anyway. |

it was the same man that supervised all these substandard roads in abia state. roads that the government kept rebuilding every year; a case study is that of faulks road in aba, that road keeps spoiling every year
he is part and parcel of the maladministration in abia state You can't actually blame a Commissioner for sub-standard roads. Alex Otti is Ikpeazu pro-max. I know these men personally, but again, 4 years is enough to prove me wrong. |

So you rather want a man that lost 5 of 6 SW states, lost woefully in the NW and NE to be declared the winner? Since when has winning SE determines who rules this country? |

Politics › Re: Festus Okoye: INEC Will Not Allow Any Political Party Access To its Database by DeOTR: 3:09pm On Mar 13, 2023 |
3sha4lyf: I've been reading your comments on this issue and I cant help but wonder why you must show your illiteracy on the online public space, rather than read to learn, learn and get informed...
How can you say no serious entity will grant access to their database for any reason? Can your entity be more serious than TWITTER or were you not aware that in the suit between Twittter and Elon Musk, the court granted Elon access to a significant part of Twitter database to ascertain the presence of bots that were used to hype the twitter shares?
Please do some research.
Also, if after the Court has ordered INEC to grant Access and you support INEC not to obey this, then you are an anarchist, and you are the reason Nigeria is where it is.
Also, the person who said " A clear conscience fears no accusations" wasn't mad. If you think APC won the elections, you have a right to your thoughts...but what you don't have rights to is to berate people who explore the provisions of the law to determine and correct a rights rape that occurred in the 25th February elections.
Even the PDP are acknowledging that votes were tampered with to favor APC. If you think APC won, then they should be able to show substantial proof of victory to counter LP and PDP's claims of rigging and results manipulations.
If WIKE can come out and boast that the romance with APC has ended after he delivered PDP to APC [through stern rigging and intimidation], then I'm not sure you know what you're spewing here.
Mind you, nobody has monopoly of violence. 18th March 2023 will prove that.
Have a fab day Musk was trying to buy twitter the last time I checked, so unless LP is trying to buy INEC, I wonder what in the world they want to access to on INEC server that can't be gotten on their website. Last time I checked, all parties have a copy of each PU results and it's also available on the iRev, so WTF do they need access to the Db for? |

Fut9ure: In a sane nation
Tinubu is not supposed to get any vote
This election open the South west yansh that they are not educated and exposed or Liberal the way they claimed The whole world already know this
And yorubas just affirmed it with this election
Imagine Ekiti people were selling thier vote on credit You're only disappointed that your Yoruba Moslems/Christians BS didn't work as planned. It's OK for Ibos to vote 100% for their son, but Yorubas doing same is exposing them as non-liberal. Like, you guys must be thinking too highly of yourselves. Na bad thing for Ibos to prove that they're liberals too, by at least voting for someone else? Shey una think say na only you sabi vote on tribal line? We'll teach a bitter lesson. You must have known that you can't go head to head with the Yorubas and dream of winning, but then again, you guys are incapable of learning from your mistakes. |

CSTRR: What is so special about the database?
And who told you that APC does not have access to it?
You are supporting the ruination of your country's electoral process for whatever reason and you think it will not affect you?
You think tinubu knows you?
Okay o. Everything is special about database. It is the whole essence of the server. No serious organization will grant access to their database for any reason. I have access to my company's database, the password. I know all the tables, the columns. I can read, write, update and delete. These are sensitive things no one would like outsiders to know, especially not when it's an organization like INEC. INEC would not grant access to their database to any political party are any entity whatsoever. And yes, APC won the last presidential election, fair and square. Conduct it several times over, the outcome will still be there the same, maybe with different figures. For instance, Peter Obi would still lose in most parts of the North and South West. And that's a fact that you people decided not to acknowledge. I don't have to know Tinubu personally to be objective. I've already mentioned it here that Tinubu would win and Obi would come third. It doesn't take rocket science to know that. |

They simply allowed emotions get in their. It's hard to tell that Obi would come in the last election. I've mentioned it severally, but when you have a people that conducts a survey with a desired outcome in mind, this is what you get. I'm a trained Applied Economist so we know how these things work. Your survey is a waste of time if your sampling is wrong or intentionally chosen to give you the outcome you want. |
