Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Verse 11 talks about condemnation of the damned and 12 about the salvation of the saved. What did they do differently? "...keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." So, your faith in Jesus must be complemented by obedience of God's commandments. Jesus would deny if all you do is say you believe in Him, yet you still live in sin. |
Richy4:...friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude. If you don't consider a lawmaker donating transformers to the community as an act of goodwill, then maybe he's the owner of the private company you're paying monthly electricity bills to. |
DenreleDave:You left the people responsible for providing you transformer and started attacking someone who donated it out of goodwill, asking him why now? Too many idiots in this country. No wonder we are where we are. |
MrDetermined:They should do their worst. They have been taking advantage of the division among the Christians for too long. It's time for them to take the back seat. |
MrRichmond:The government should focus on IT, for instance. Training like 50 thousand people to be become highly skilled IT professionals in 4 years will go a long way. It should be focused on areas where we are lagging behind, and I don't think medical line is one of them. |
since13o:Who are the "they"? |
Na so e suppose be, otherwise a Moslem will win in a Christian-dominated State again. |
heniford2:To the best of my knowledge, though it's true delete operation does not remove the file, it rather marks the space the file is ccupying as available, but it's only recoverable until it's overwritten by another file. Computer memory is not infinite. Unless you have a lot of extra space left, it's just a matter of time before data you think can be deleted will actually be overwritten by another, in which case, it's lost forever. |
MrRichmond:My problem with people is that they only see the minute negative side of things, but ignore its enormous gains. Not everyone can afford to train to be a pilot or attend some specialized trainings, but with student loans targeted at specific area of specializations, the positive impact would be unimaginable. I was on student loans myself, so I'm talking from a position of someone who knows better. The job I got two months before the training I took the loan to attend could pay it back within 3 years if I'm paying back 30% of my net monthly take home pay. That's not too bad if you ask me. In my current job, I could pay the entire loan within 6 months. My only advice is that the loan should only be given to students that want to go for specialize trainings/studies, of course, after they might have gained admission for the training. |
2elliot:You noticed that too? |
ejifranks:A Nigerian President-elect is afraid of non entities? Dey play. A ti t'oje b'Olosa l'owo, o ku baba nla eni ti o bo. |
tamdun:You even get time to dey reply that dullard. We are talking about Igbos denying their daughter participation in party primaries in igboland, just because she married a Yoruba man, the mumu is talking about a Yoruba woman that won election in the FCT. |
What does Obi won "19 States + FCT + 25% in 2/3" even mean? These guys are illiterates. OK. Let him mention the states make we hear. |
Bridget95:If I were him and I was been used to implement policies that defies economic logic, I'd gladly resign to protect my integrity. But then again I understand Emefiele won't do that, because they his files, so he must do their biddings. This is not his only policy that's hurting the economy. The Naira is where it is today because of his incompetence. FX now has parallel markets. The same thing is now happening with Naira. Have you not seen we can only get Naira only at the black market, thanks to Emefiele? See, there's no compulsion in public service. In sane climes, people resign their employments if they feel they are being used to untoward purposes. |
PointB:There's no cash anywhere. Even most Banks don't have them. Is that not why we pay 1k per 5k withdrawal at the POS? Even at that, you'll rarely see a POS operator that has cash. It's fine if they want to place a withdrawal limit of 50k weekly, but at least, it should be available at the ATMs as it has always been. No, we can't revert to using coins. Our currency has little to no value and see any sense counting 100 pieces of 2 Naira coins just to buy less than 10 pieces of tomato. The Banks should have previously encouraged small businesses to acquire POS machines for their business (of course, making it affordable too). That should have been the cart, and the implementation of the cash swap policy, the horse. |
PointB:They still use cash, no? If the need for cash arises, they have access to it, no? We want to go cashless in Nigeria, according to you, because printing new notes is expensive, but we ended up spending hundreds of billions printing redesigned notes. What's the sense in that? If going cashless is the objective, why not just scrap 500 and 1000 notes instead? You see why you can't defend this stupidity? |
VOICEofORIENTAL:Nobody killed my King. The Fulanis killed Afonja, the Ilorin ruler and since they're fine with it, no problem. The only problem is when you want to extend the madness. |
PointB:Even in advanced economies, people can still afford access to $100 in cash daily, if they so wish. But here we are, in a third world nation having to buy cash with at least, 20% of amount of cash we want, just because someone felt Nigeria should go cashless in just 4 months. Anybody supporting this policy is certainly brain dead, at least. |
reddingtonblack:To them, Atiku doesn't exist. Nothing short of declaring their Messiah the winner is going to cut it with them. The people that helped Obi implement his mind control techniques really tried, but they failed. Now Tinubu has a serious tasks on his hands to bring them back to their senses. |
reddingtonblack:Their ignorance is sickening. I gave up on them when I realized most of them don't even know how the 25% ish works. They just based it off the number of votes the winner got and assume Obi got the required 25% in the state. Here we are, dismissing 2.6 million gap as "just", when going by the average turn out, that's some total votes from 5 states. |
LordEclipse:Naira swap fixed looting of treasury, how? Omo! People are so dumb in this country o. Since when has it even become the duty of the CBN to fix looting of our treasury? If there are still sensible people left in that shithole called CBN, and going cashless is actually the goal, the first thing is to ensure our banking system is ready for the policy, if not, do the needful. Next is to eliminate all the bogus banking charges to make online and cashless transactions attractive. Then, 500 and 1000 notes should be recalled and instead of wasting 300 billion Naira for printing new washed out 200, 500 and 1000 notes, the resources should have been used to print more 200, 100 and other lower currencies without having to redesign anything. They can now go ahead and place withdrawal limits, but making sure cash is made available. However what we have from the CBN is nothing short of nonsense. No wonder Ezekwesili wondered if there are still any Economists left at the CBN. It's that bad. |
CSTRR:Which states outside the ones Obi could garner 25% was Obi robbed for Tinubu? Just mention 3 of them. |
CSTRR:Landslide millions where? I guess his votes were suppressed in Anambra where no one is allowed to vote any other party but LP? Turn this election is very poor as evident all over the states of the federation, so the issue of votes suppression doesn't suffice. |
CSTRR:Just 2 million? Sorry, it over 2.5 million. That's the entire population of some countries. And if you think 2.5 million can be dismissed as "just", add it to Obi's vote and declare him winner make we dey watch you. Shey una say una stubborn ni? E ni wo tan! |
Why must it always be 20? ![]() Person wey carry 3rd dey challenge Teacher say na him suppose carry first. Is God not good? |
VOICEofORIENTAL:It's not your business if Ilorin indigenes are OK with Alimi brothers. The Yorubas allowed the Alimis because Ilorin was like a rebel camp. We put them in their place when they tried to go beyond. That's the reason why they're confined in Ilorin, in the middle of Yoruba Towns. At Shao junction, you'd see a sign post with "This place is Yorubaland, not an emitate". The Ilorin people are satisfied with their lives, it's nobody's business, as long as you stay on your lane. Trying to drag land with a Yoruba person is one of a thousand ways to die, so if you guys love yourselves and want peace, stay out of our politics. Enough said. |
NoToPile:From his tweets, you'd know the guy is not that smart. He can't even write well in proper English, writing "where" as "were", etc. He most probably wrote this. |
VOICEofORIENTAL:So because Ibadan is the capital city of Oyo state, Alafin answers to Olubadan. Since Osogbo is the capital of Osun state, Ooni answers to Ataoja? This your login is so warped. Go and ask why we have Sobi barracks between Ilorin and Shao. Like I said, Ilorin emirate ends in Ilorin. Just like the Emir of Ilorin, we have several other First Class Kings all over Kwara state and they answer only to themselves and their subjects. |
budaatum:Modern Day slaves do not have chains on their necks. |
VOICEofORIENTAL:Your ignorance is glaring all over the thread. I bet you don't know the location of Kwara state on the map, talk less of the road that leads there. Alimi family controlling Kwara, yen yen yen. Ask your brothers that live in Ilorin, Ilorin emirate ends at Sobi barracks in the North, Olunlade in the South, Oke Oyi in the East and Airport in the West. Go to Baruten or Lafiagi or Patigi or Offa or Omu Aran and tell them they answer to Ilorin emirate and see if your head would still remain on your shoulders. |
