404Dev:Or better still, occupy your mind with something else. You could code and listen to audiobooks, for example, on issues which aren't too distracting. Trevor Noah's "Born A Crime" audiobook is about 9 hours. Enough time and the perfect ambience to code, chuckle and relax without necessarily leaving your workstation/space. Or you do other things during the day and focus on the most demanding part of work after sunset if you take your work home. |
Went through the thread; not even a single female moniker commented. Tomorrow they'd expect to be handed gigs based on "equality and fairness" even when others merit it. And it's not just on this thread but on tech threads on this forum generally, even in digital tech spaces on Twitter and Facebook. |
SeekinAttention:We all know you're impotent so you have nothing to lose. |
Ezedon:It is true, especially for those whose work involves them being sedentary. Worse even for web/computer programmers coupled with the ruining effect of looking at large bright screens 12 hours daily. |
Over the years I have mentioned it even on this platform that I have records of every conversation I have ever had with any girl who has gotten intimate with me since 2013. WhatsApp chatlogs, all social media handles and chats, and phone call voice recordings at random times where they have admitted to wanting to get intimate with me in the most intimate of ways. I have these files saved on hard drives and in the cloud. Nobody would ever see them, not even my closest of acquaintances. ...Until any of these females try to get vindictive with accusations such as this and I'd let hell loose. Thankfully, none has till date. But I am not taking chances. Check my backup weekly or monthly to ensure my evidence is still intact. Men get too relaxed, even in relationships. Plan for everything. I plan for the very best and worst. These females are out to spite and ruin you once they can't get what they want, including your own wife. If the Tife were smart enough, he'd have had evidence of her repeatedly admitting she wants to be screwed or how she enjoyed getting screwed by him. Remember the @UcheDandyMUFC and @_b_moree false rape saga in June, 2018 on Twitter? Men never learn! |
OJURONGBE1:The good thing about hope is, it's not always time-bound but elastic. You might win something - anything - next season. 2022 might just be your year. Keep the hope alive until then. ![]() |
benalvino2:It's the age-long rallying cry for the extremists both in the Left and the Middle East. Even though Saudi Arabia has been sponsoring terrorism in the same Middle East and Iran has been causing havoc, yell Christianity atop a minaret and the very victims of these atrocities would rally round to fight a common enemy. It's why they'd suppress the obvious that Israel isn't even a Christian state. Losing that narrative would equate losing the pull for the congregation of murderous extremists worshipping at the altar of hate. It's why they'd slam you with the Islamophobia tag when you resist their views even before you reveal what your religion is or even religious at all. To them, all Muslims have to hate Christians so put the Christian tag on Israel and it'd further validate the hate. It's the same ideology Leftist use: All people of colour (blacks especially) have to be Democrats. If you are not (doesn't matter if you are an Independent), you are an "Uncle Tom". It's why, when asked, I have stated countless times that I'm more of an Independent who leans Right because of the vile ideology/policies of the Left (many Trump supporters were/are Independents), the hermits with gangrened brain nerves would continually try to stick the "Extreme Right" tag on me 'cause that's the only way to rally their other partners-in-foolery when they lose arguments or can't summon any. Extremists have one playbook. Just one playbook. Understand this and their supposed puzzling nature become as easy to figure out as how a clothesline clip works. |
Timiofak:True. The argument exposes the nexus between religion and the Middle East crisis/alliance. Take religion away from the equation and most pitched tents would be unbundled. Also, these days, Liberalism equates extremism. Isn't it curious that the supposed "conservative" Middle Eastern countries the dyslexic leprechaun who was too scared to quote me above mentioned double as the most extremist countries? Have you ever wondered why these Middle Eastern extremists seem to find solace amongst the "Liberals"? No, folks like him with IQs inversely proportional to the strands of hair in their nostrils fail at deductive reasoning. Interesting too that most extremist Middle Easterners seem to always throw their weights behind U.S. Liberals in any debate. I'd recommend he gets therapy daily: A high-five. In the face. With a plank. Hopefully that'd shake things up the malformed arrangement of bones he calls his skull. |
basilico:Basilico does have a point about Wikipedia (and much of the media being Far Left), and sexist too against men. For example, all groups which advocate for men's rights are tagged as anti-feminist and misogynist on Wikipedia and the articles are locked. In fact, when you google any male advocacy group, the meta description is always about hate-fueled misogyny. Almost describing them as terrorists. Also, over the years, hardcore Muslims from North Africa and the Middle East have taken over the Democratic Party, so it's no surprise that their anti-Semitism which is shared across the Muslim world reflects in the Democratic Party. Anti-Semitism is rife amongst Left in the U.S. and Liberals in the U.K. And since the Left dominate the media and play that "more opportunities for minorities", these Muslim radicals invaded the media too and that's what we are all seeing. In fact, Twitter and Facebook in the last year have gone on overdrive flagging tweets and posts dimmed unfit for public view by their "review committees". Interesting that these "review committees" seem to target accounts or tweets which do not support the Leftist agenda. I can mention several examples. Heck! If you are being honest, you know these examples. There's a case for anyone making the blanket statement about big media/tech companies being obviously pro-Left. |
budaatum:That's the thing: Any POTUS who tries to renege on any agreement or accord with Israel would be only seen as anti-Semitic. And the way it plays out in the media, you are either pro-Israel or anti-Israel. If you are the later, you are automatically a terrorist apologist. No two ways about it. You don't want to mess with the Jewish delegation/power players in the U.S. socio-politics. You know this. Obama was smart enough to just dance around it and never really on the dance floor. Would Israel change its stance with its PM gone? Maybe; but then again, maybe not. Still, you are forgetting one thing: The war and the optics favour Netanyahu very much. He's playing the "We against the world" card and it's working. Did you follow his comments thanking Hamas for finally get the Israeli people to unite as one? What he really meant is, the Israeli people unite behind me. The optics favour him and he's playing (like he always has) that nationalist card more than ever. There's even a campaign urging famous Jews to speak up for Israel - cue the Gal Gadot controversy, and all Israeli government social media handles are on overdrive now. Netanyahu is not going anytime soon. This favours him. All the corruption and allegations against him have been put to a back burner since the hostilities began. |
budaatum:It's not necessarily about Trump (or Jared who is openly Jewish). Blaming Trump (if there's anyone to blame asides the main state actors in the Middle East) is looking for an easy target. Not even Biden can be blamed for what's happening. The U.S. policy before Trump has always been pro-Israel. You know this so why blame Trump? With or without Trump coming into the picture, the conflict would still rage. It's an impassé. The Arab world wants Israel to leave, Israel wants a share of it. There are no grey areas and the Arabs do not want a middle ground. It's easy to blame Jared Kushner (and Trump) while completely ignoring the Biden adminstration tacitly reaffirming U.S support of Israel with "Israel has the right to defend itself". Pretty convenient. I'd ask you pointedly: Do you honestly think Biden would alter the status quo as regards U.S-Israeli relations/support and the U.S position on issues between Israel and Palestine? Even Obama couldn't and he's supposedly seen as pro-Arab. Supposedly. |
Hashabiah:Muslims (the extremists ones) threaten with being suicidal because they know their opponents would play by the book of fairness and all. Israel doesn't play by those rules or the book and it has members of the G8 behind it, including the US, so little or no fear of UN sanctions. And it is successfully playing the exact same card these Muslims play: 1. Religion 2. Nationalism (we against the world so no criticism from within). Mossad, for example, isn't as regulated or comes under scrutiny like the CIA. Israel is dangerous. |
Upton:The website was built in 2014, fully redesigned in 2019, mostly inactive in 2020 but was upgraded this year. It's curious that search engines didn't archive the webpages of the website throughout 2020 for a website which should be dynamic but I'd leave it at that. |
mariahAngel:It wouldn't (if there's any such thing). If you follow the story well enough and the big wigs involved aren't exactly new to you, you'd know there are almost untouchable. The Frank guy is the designated fall guy - a small fry compared to the whales who'd have to be thrown to land if justice were to actually take its course. Immediately those names were revealed on Monday night, people in the know began to lose hope of justice. It's not just ordinary murder here. They'd have to dig up to the middlemen, buyers and consumers. Too many people would have to go down. Sadly, wishes aren't horses neither are they plates of rice - we can't just ride or have them, this time. |
Cornpop:Maybe but, like I stated a month ago, it's still too early to judge Biden's economic performance. 6 months (July) would be more like it. Too early to use the unemployment rate as a yardstick to judge him too. I'd cut him the slack for a while 'cause the U S. economy was especially hit by the pandemic. |
Flanker:The Berbers used to be nomads and never really settled. ...Just like the Fulanis. That aside, if you ask the average Arab today where his ancestral home is, he'd claim any of these regions I had mentioned in my previous post even though history defies his claims yet the same Arab thinks Israel has no claim to any area in the Palestine region. Hypocrisy or sheer ignorance? I'd go with the previous because even supposedly educated Arabs and their supporters use the twisted defense. Heck! if we were to go by even the most recent migratory history in Nigeria, the Fulanis SHOULDN'T have as much as a rock to call their ancestral home but we are where we are. You don't judge history or historical precedence in isolation. Not everyone conforms to herd mentality - some go digging and refuse to accept what they've been told unless there's fact to back it up. |
wirinet:True; but then again, if "original settlers" were the single criterion to arrogate claims to land, then the Arabs and even the Berbers shouldn't lay claim to Egypt, Morocco and Algeria as their ancestral lands. The people laying claim to the Iberian Peninsula shouldn't even have to. Need I delve into the history of the Turks and their claims to the lands which is today Turkey? Point is, based on history antecedence, lands and people have always been conquered and the settlers have always laid claim, our emotions regardless. There are so many arguments in favour of Israel and Palestine. Way too many. |
BruncleZuma:If you knew anything about world socio-politics and historical antecedence, you'd know Jews/Israelis aren't white. In fact, some of the most anti-Semitic people on Earth are whites themselves. But you wouldn't know this 'cause you scroll the pages of Nairaland all day which is an echo box of ill-informed halfwïts making needless comments. |
There's something fundamentally wrong with the Nigerian political system. Or maybe it isn't exactly the system but the fear of losing the thrill of being within the corridors of power which turns Nigerian political appointees to mindless hafwïts. |
AHCB:True but at least you know with a whôre, it's a field rigged with explosives so why walk into it? If you have to, just enjoy the thrill of transversing it safely but don't dwell on it. Something would set the bombs off sooner than later and you'd be a burn victim if you are still around - that's if it doesn't kill you. And if you walk into a field that's seemingly safe (seemingly good girls), exit it once you discover it's a minefield. |
ReeLoaDead:Need I tell you the Balon d'Or is an individual award based on individual performances/statistics? |
Man.City beating PSG is actually a win for Barcelona fans. 1. Barca fans double as Man. City fans. 2. Mbappe/Neymar could have been threat(s) to Messi wining the Balon d'Or. Now Messi would win the lLa Liga too which puts him in pole position to win the prize. A big win for us. |
FatherCHRISTMAS:LOL. Was I ever a regular there? Only used to 'cause I used to be mentioned there by my on-Nairaland acquaintances who we share a history from years ago. Plus I did check a number of times over the last year and it's been completely invaded by crackheads and kids; all the oldies are gone and I am one. |
lalasticlala:This is untrue. In 2010 when Chidinma won Project Fame, she stated she was 20 years old and lived with her mother and even her age was disputed then 'cause people who knew her said she was old but petite and she was said to be 23. 11 years later, she's supposedly 30? There's a video of her mentioning her age 11 years ago. |
jpmoriarti:Many Barça fans also want the UCL again, after the failings of 2019 and 2020. 2021 was supposed to be the year. Or at least we should have gone out on a high unlike the two previous years mentioned. Maybe we've been spoilt by too much success in a short while. We've been spoilt to believe the La Liga and Copa are our 'birth right' by default. Difficult adjusting to the present reality. For many fans, they just don't want to say anything; too angry to say much. |
Hotshisha:Alex Saber was a diplomatic envoy for the Venezuelan government too but he was picked up too. Maybe you need to keep yourself abreast with happenings worldwide. |
TheHulk616:The hilarious irony of this is, Messi is the El Classico highest goalscorer. Immediately you see this mention, logon to Aliexpress to order your clown costume. Use promo code " TheHulk616 " to get a 95 percent discount. |
starbuck:Olajumuoke got smart and stoke the ire of benefactors and the public. Just months into achieving fame and relative comfort, she divorced her husband for no reason at all, stating 'inreconcilable differences'. Then moved on immediately to live alone. |
izzou:Maybe, maybe not. Arsenal were the first to tweet it and here's how they put it: "We are one of 12 Founding Clubs of the European Super League" https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1383909222895603716/ Chest-beating. Cue the trolling which followed. Tottenham: https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1383909349869776897/ Others like Man. United didn't make a big deal of it. Some haven't even tweeted about it. |
izzou:Nobody is saying Tottenham deserves an ESL place more than Arsenal. The fixated trolling of Arsenal is mostly because they were/are too excited about the exclusivity of the Super League; I think they were even the first of the 12 clubs to tweet about it and almost arrogantly too like they deserved it. Something in the line of "We are proud to announce we are one of the founding fathers of the Super League." Tweeted it like they deserved it and have been conquering the Premier League and knocking out teams out of the UCL for years that it's become too boring so they are sticking to playing against the giants alone. See Tottenham? They didn't go over the top with it beating their chests. If PSG or Bayern or Real or even Chelsea had tweeted that, the trolling wouldn't have been this intense. |
Havertz10:"Ordinary [NBA]"? You do realize the "B" stands for basketball, not badminton, right? |

the only people wailing are people that can't affect change, I don't feel sorry for uefa, you have a global brand, after world cup it's uefa champions league final, ordinary nba dey generate billions in American market alone, you have the entire world's attention and you are making peanuts
