Surely you jest! |
If you want results permanently, it can never be quick. Run for 30 mins in the morning/evening everyday or at least 4 times a week, eat smaller meals twice a day, never ever eat after 8 at night, no matter how hungry you are. You should never take any pill or any nonsense fad diet. Do it for 3 months and see how you be slimmer, with more toned abs and legs. CONFIRMED. Permanent results are never easy. Don't be decieved by the Nigerian situation. No man finds flabby women attractive, the same way no woman wants to hold pot belly men. That's my advice for you. Its for you to take it leave it. |
What is the role of nscdc? Are they the people that were blue and red, with those funny hats? I always wondered what the hell their role is. I guess 'job na job'! |
Pay your tithes first. Then try again. |
ROSSIKE: If they tell you now to go and live under the draconian rule of Iran's Ayatollahs which brought about the situation you so admire, you will run. Maybe you need to ask yourself ''at what price'' before showing your adoration.Apologies for the harsh words, but this is just stu()pid. Honestly, I'm so sorry. The point he is making is that even under a dictatorial and sanctioned system, Iran still is able to ensure supply of electricity for its citizens and export for others. Regarding your 2nd sentence, 1. Iran has a 60 year head-start so Nigeria will have to wait 111 years before it can get constant electricity? What? 2. What of Singapore, that gained independence in 1963 and has electricity? I can't keep replying to such poorly thought out posts. Please I'm sorry. |
Given that this poster has a history of telling lies, even to visa officers, I am disposed to not believe her strange tale. But really, do the anonymous internet opinions matter? eyoniggar: Simply scan the visa page and post it here on Nairaland, scan it in such a way that vital info wnt be revealed on here.Na wa o. To prove to anonymous internet people, she should scan her personal document? Wowzers! |
For those complaining about Uk and racism ask yourself: How is this different from the tribalism you display on this site day in day out? Its not. Physicians! Heal thyselves! |
No, it is not a scam. Go ahead and pay the money to upgrade your score. What the hell is wrong with this country? |
wow |
Many univesities offer a degree in Music, apart from creative arts or theatre arts. As you want to be a producer, studying Music as a Bachelors can give an excellent theoretical and practical basis for your ambitions. Or if you want you can study engineering or something like previous poster says, watch your ambitions die then after 4 years come back to Nairaland to ask 'when is Union Bank collecting CV','Please is there hope for 2.2 graduates', or 'Please I need oil and gas job'. Bottomline. . . follow your ambitions through if you really want to be a producer, and not need to 'fall back when chips are down'. |

Even imagine - when Azadus was shown here talking with an okada man, was he not insulted beyond human reasoning? Now people suddenly want humility! |
Before you start drawing comparisons and insulting 'Nigerian elites', look inwards and ask - You, yourself, don't you exhibit bigmanism. In the way you speak to your househelp, the gateman at the office, your junior workers, people with only secondary school education, etc? In your weddings, where people even borrow cars to pose - I saw a topic on this recently. Driving on the road, where you insult everybody. So look inwards - leave Dangote, Otedola, Jimoh Ibrahim - even those living in a 2 bedroom house in Ikorodu Lagos will still form big man when they come in contact with those living in miniflat in Agege |
Quite sad, the level of performance people expect from the government. Commissioning a flyover? |
I wasn't joking. |
Chasing certificate at age 8. Every year we hear of someone who is the 'youngest Bleep-certified IT guru' from one of these 3rd world countries. Or isn't it the same Pakistan that people on this website will mock, calling it Islamabad? What is the gain and what problem does it solve - for your country, society, community or even your street? Congratulations to him all the same. It wouldn't have been easy. |
Why go to restaurant and cinema for a truly Lagos experience? Find your way to Okokomaiko and go to Lagos Island by bus. Step into one mama put on the way and chow, go to Lagos Island and shop - not city mall o. African Shrine Ikeja, thats that evening spot. That's the Lagos experience. No be to dey look monkey at Lekki conservation. By the time you get back home, you go sleep wella. Abi you come Lagos look bridge? |
Are you not the same guy that needs help thinking about exam, intepreting dream, woman, househelp, finding school, church, etc etc. Haba. From your previous posts always seeking help, your problem can never be solved by anyone else other than yourself. You obviously have no confidence in yourself, such that you cannot think for yourself even in the smallest ways. This is no insult. Its an interpretation of your numerous topics on this forum. Start having confidence in yourself bros. - Not arrogance o. Eg: https://www.nairaland.com/1084183/plssssssssss-me..wat https://www.nairaland.com/1076323/pastors-envagelist-here..plssss-need-ur https://www.nairaland.com/1068400/fighting-two-younger-brothers-dream https://www.nairaland.com/1067484/plsssssssss-enlighten-water-after-meal |
This visit, his comments, etc do not mean anything. Even if the college is repaired, will it not rot again? These things do not operate in isolation. If a room for 200 people is fforced to house 2000, therre will be rot and decay. If the place is replastered, new beds bought, painted, etc, it will not stop it from spoiling and in another 2 years we will be back to square 1. Consistent maintenance is the only way to ensure these facilities last for lifetimes and can grow to accomodate more people. With this pointless visit, and even the lousy comments insulting ''Retardeen'', it is obvious Nigeria has a long way to go before it reaches a level of building and maintaining its facilities and instituions. |
While I hate to focus criticism on persons rather than institutions and processes, the case of Reuben Abati causes one to really think about this trap called politics and power. In 2008, a man was a staunch critic. Come 2012, he is the spokesman - the willing public face of 'a nest of killers'. Really it makes one think, what could pull someone all the way to make a 180degree turn on his opinions. How much money could be offered for you to abandon your ideals. I wonder, when he leaves that office (he will not be there forever), what will become of him? In 2012, What has become of people in his position who turned 180 degrees in 2007 to become government 'yes-men'? It only encourages me to put on my thinking cap for the long-term. |
My goodness. Nigeria. What kind of process is this. All the processes they listed for you . . .hahaha. . . complete lies. Honestly, I think the registry in Ikoyi is the place to get it. But bribing them is the only way you can get it. Your brother will have to bribe them to get it. I have had to get a few things like that from govt agencies and have almost always had to bribe them. Sad and annoying country. I mean see the process they listed for you. Local government certficate needs affidavit which is to be certified in Ikoyi, validated in Abuja, stamped by National Population Commission, signed by INEC, seen by CBN, and printed by Presidency. Which kind? |
http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/gallery/2013/jan/09/150-years-london-underground-pictures Any visitor and tourist will tell you, riding on the Underground is really something special . No, its not a rollercoaster or amusement park ride but the ability to move easily around town - from work, home, shops, restaurants, wherever - makes it something special. Especially haven experienced the chaotic Lagos transportation system of danfos and okadas tearing down the road median, pedestrians stumbling across major highways in high heels, weaving hawkers and siren-blaring political leaders and military men. The Tube - a triumph in mass transportation - surely is a breath of fresh air and should serve as an inspiration. So congratulations to the people of London! |
while what you say is sometimes true, I find that it's hard to find competent Nigerians to fill managerial roles, so sometimes (larger) companies need to bring in expats. they are paid to do the important job of managing the company operations as well as expat allowances. So while you think they just lounge around looking 'expaty' any gbese is on their head. Inability to meet production or business development targets set by owners results in sack and visa wahala. Besides that do you think people get to managerial position so they can be paid peanuts? |

5 Naira text message? If that boss does not give you Christmas bonus or turkey and oil, the employee will come here and rant about how the boss is wicked, you want to leave the company, his wife hates you, his brother is chasing you, blah blah blah. But to send text to say Happy New Year Boss Lets make more money this year is hard. Why? |

Ok. Imagine if this was a Christian governor involved in this crash. This thread would be full of how Muslims are trying to kill Christian politicians. Remember Yakowa? No no. Dont argue. Be honest with yourself. |
Imagine if GEJ/FG proposed to hold 'The Biggest New Year's Eve Party in Africa' in Abuja, complete with gbedu and media adverts? What will you say? Check my previous posts. I'm not a PDP man, neither am I an ACN man nor a CPC man or APGA or LP or whatever. But if we see government engaging in rubbish activities with NO effect on the populace, please speak up. Fashola/ACN is not perfect and neither is GEJ/PDP |
