Slaughter or Ozaa room you say? |
Africa should go and sit down. I don't know why we are too emotional and sentimental. We always feels that we are being unjustly treated. VAR have been used in other matches and goals disallowed. The French goal yesterday was disallowed after VAR pointed a collision with the keeper. The low life and inferiority mentality always makes the black man think that he or she is being persecuted. See the way they were crying like a baby that was spanked? The same way Super Falcon were showing unnecessary emotions when they learnt that they had qualified for the second round. Africa should man up and face their issues squarely. Always been sentimental and emotional to win public sympathy. |
I remember the early 90's in Ikorodu. It was like a Mecca of some sort. Every Tuesday, the family will attend his mass for healing and spiritual growth. We were healed by his relentless prayers. Rest in peace father Osigwe. |
Please, all these visit this and visit that should stop. Nigeria politicians should square up and face the enormous challenges that the country is grappling. As usual, some poor and idiotic youths have started singing their praises. |
pazienza:Bro, nobody hate Ndigbo. What people hates are drug peddlers, kidnappers and armed robbers. These crimes are not peculiar to Ndigbo, it cut across all tribes in Nigeria. Likewise, I hate it when other tribes profile other tribe for one thing or the other. Nigeria can never grow with ethnic hatred. Lets eschew bitterness and focus on unity and rebuilding Nigeria. Sadly, the current leadership we have is not even helping matters and are not pretending about the division it has caused. Unity is all we pray for to build a virile and prosperous nation. Tribal insult and ethnic attacks helps weakens the fabrics of cohesion and no nation can progress where there are hatred and injustice. Don't allow the silly idiots here push you into ethnic retaliation or attack. |
BlacSmit:Who asked you? Next thing now is just to start stupid chest - beating. This Nigerian youth mentality of always trying to "corner" successful business men and politicians as their own just to make noise and make other people feel jealous is just too childish. Go and face your own hustle. The man has made his money. I am not hating though. |
I keep on saying this, our standards are terribly low in this country. "Leave am like that mentality" in everything we do. We spend hard currencies to visit zoos in Kenya, South Africa and Botswana and see how healthy the animals are, the natural beauty of the zoo itself. People around the world visit Kenya's park and zoo and the country makes millions of dollars. Nigeria's problem has defied all solutions. I am sure government is making yearly annual budgetary subvention to the park but the management will never use it for something good but only to loot the money. |
Enugu and untared red floors/ground. Ground is usually red soil mixed with tiny stone in most compounds I saw without cemented. |
My concern is the huge money they are making from Nigerians. Visa fee alone is more than the entire internally generated revenue of the South East and North East combined. It is high time United Nations and other developing country sponsor a proposal in the UN general assembly for taxing of diplomatic and consular services. Developed world are reaping off on the developing countries through all these visa and other consular services. If you see the amount UK makes from Indian on visa fees, you will be shocked. Please let government tax embassies on visa fee income biko. |
Bubu is no more paying humongous and fraudulent subsidies like they paid under Jonathan. Moreover, his friend, Dangote is set to dominate the downstream when his refineries comes on stream by end of 2020. They must have discussed and in order not to have issues with his friend, he cashed out fast and exited the downstream. |
Nigeria politicians!!! Tufiakwa!!! See the man Wailers and youths are dying for - is this the type of structure and hospital he is going to give to Kogi people? Some will come here to defend him saying it is not his responsibility. Nigeria politicians are just too selfish and petty when it comes to provision of public goods. They lower the standards so much. Compare this thatched housed with his private residence, I am not saying that this should be same with his private residence but at least anything worth doing is worth doing well. One of his cars can comfortably build a good ICT and not this rubbish here. This is why our standards are just too low in this country. Children and uninformed youths will see this and like it thinking that it is the best. When they grow and become contractors, they will be giving the people this kind of structure since that was what they were exposed to. |
My sympathy and support to all carriers of this blood anomaly. May almighty God continue to grant you the courage and stamina to carry on. I feel and share in your pain and discomfort and witnessed close relatives and friends died because of this sickle-cell anemia. Being a carrier of this sickle cell in a country with poor health care support could be discomforting and unforgiving. My prayers and thoughts are with you people today. Rest in peace Femi, Nnabuike and Frank - You all fought a great battle to live, but the devastation and poor health facilities in our country were just overwhelmingly bad for you guys. Sleep on - We all love you guys. |
I am waiting when Adamawa would confirm breakthrough in science and innovation. All the news have been, " Adamawa confirms 20 killed in fresh communal violence; "Adamawa confirms fresh Bokoharam attacks"; "Adamawa confirms outbreak of lassa fever; " Adamawa confirms kidnap of first class chief in one local government. God help Nigeria |
How do people get courage to post this kind of sad news about their misfortune on the internet? Why not just mourn and move on. Let it be known by close relatives and friends. People seems happy with online sympathy and likes more than anything. I cant imagine myself posting online about the death of my son, daughter or spouse. |
We are just too backwards in this country. Our standards are terribly low. See a training pitch, probably owned by a hotel or local county and see how neat and well maintained. Nigerian mentality of poor maintenance culture is so glaring in all sectors and areas of our life. We go abroad and see how neat the streets are, how orderly things are and how well maintained the national and public places look and take selfie and pictures and post online to form posh and informed, yet the place we are coming from is nothing more than a ghetto. |
Before opening this thread, I knew it would be black people. I don't know if violence is in our DNA? Whites will simply smile and walks away but black man, he will react like sulphuric acid» Tomorrow, the same girl will dish him for another nigga. |
Op, as for th UK wanting to pay you different from what they pay commensurate position in UK is not that bad. Companies operating across borders pay staff based on the return from each country. A receptionist in UK may be earning £25k but this amount may be considered too much in Nigeria because the Nigerian subsidiary may not be profitable enough to afford to pay such in Nigeria |
Why are they afraid of Gbaja? Those contesting with him should test their popularity in the contest. Federal High Court said he is free to contest and did not find him guilty. Why are people against him? But wetin I know sef. This is Nigeria. Everybody na criminal according to Falze. He may be clean in Nigeria but Courts overseas may not agree and may likely find him guilty. I don't trust Nigeria politicians. Ask Ibori. |
I pity the citizen of this country, especially the stupid youths on Nairaland. Even if you hate Atiku, think of the wider implication of shutting down a TV station. A dangerous precedent is being set. People are not seeing that. Their own is that since it is Buhari, it is Ok. Imagine Trump shutting CNN because of the criticisms he gets from CNN. I am not supporting any party before some people starts insulting me and defending their corrupt politicians. |
All I see here are extreme poverty and ignorance everywhere |
Nigerians will keep running to UK universities thinking that it will guarantee them job only to be disappointed after spending millions of Naira. UK universities are somehow a scam to me. No benefit, once you are done, they ask you to leave yet thousands of Nigeria's wealthy will be falling over themselves to go and study for nothing, just to be abroad. It is those that sell all their properties or use all their savings that I pity most. I respect the Chinese lady for this act of bravely. |
Always drive when you are in good state of mind. I avoid driving when not in good mood or something has happened. There were times I left my car in the office and took public transport home if not in a good mood or office don do me something that got me upset so that my thoughts of the events doesn't disturb me why driving. Likewise if not happy why leaving home or something happened, I leave my car at home and take public transport to office or to wherever. Wishing the young chap quick recovery and in good health of mind and body to face his hustle in future |
Animal right activists no go like this one o. They will want the man arrested and charge to court. I trust oyibo, if they see this picture online, the activist no go mind to fly from Europe and come to mozambique to prosecute the driver. |
Very soon, the politician and the wealthy will be training their kids in primary schools abroad. When I was young, the rich mostly sent their kids abroad for masters. Gradually, they started sending for undergraduate. Currently, some have taken It to the next level to train their kids in secondary schools abroad. Very soon, it will now be primary school. It equally shows the lost of confidence in the Nigerian system and some little prestige. |
This simply shows how far Nigeria has depreciated over time both as a country and in human capacity development. Compare the economies of Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, India and Vietnam that started the same development race with Nigeria in the 50's and where they are now. I fear for the future generation and this lend credence to why Nigerians are moving out of the country in droves. Things seems to be regressing at an alarming rate. |
I am still waiting for more comments please |
joycluv:Do you have anything to say about the use of fiber cement roofing sheet?
