thunder74:Those APC guys wants to be sure of Osho baba promise of automatic ticket before they carry out the impeachment plan. Very smart! |
I watched the match. Mehn, looking at the girls, you will know that they are all Yankee bred. Tall and beautiful and fast with the ball. Typical NBA players. Their faces, stature and physique looks entirely different from a typical Nigeria person. Proud of them. Honestly, I don't know why our environment is not friendly and unforgiving with people's physical development. Nigerians born abroad tends to develop rapidly and fully formed. |
All these na wash. They will still give Ambode the ticket. By that time, he had garnered public sympathy and support going into the general election with PDP. This is a well planned game by APC. Eventually, Ambode will get the ticket through contest. The electorate will now go ahead to give him a sympathy vote, having "defeated" Tinubu camp, to spite Tinubu, without knowing it has been a game all along |
Quote me, APC will not let Osun slip pass. The stakes are high. INEC would soon announce a shocking results from Osogbo, giving APC the victory . The events of Abia state comes to mind where INEC connived with PDP to upturn Alex Otti"s APGA victory in 2015 |
hemartins:Must you mention it to his face that his life savings is equivalent to your monthly salary? Those whom the benevolent gods have assisted to excel should learn to be humble. He is looking for encouragement and not discouragement. That 300k if blessed and invested well could turn out to be the guy's life joker |
CBN and their stupidity. They will always send a wrong signal and tell people to calm down. What stops them from taking these actions codedly without sensationalisation of the whole thing. There will be a run on the bank now. The same way they hammered citi bank and co for MTN Saga and came back to say that they were reviewing additional documents. Why didn't they ask for those documents before attacking MTN and the banks? If you see the impact that action had on foreign direct investment, you would shocked. Investors had to hold back their funds and watch. Emefiele always looks confused! |
mufutau55:What of soak-away in a water logged area? The same dimension with yours but not block instead raft (casting) all round is going to be used |
Honestly, our standards in this country is so irritating and our jobless youths will be praising these politicians. Do you know how a standard hospital looks like? The worst is if you hear the cost of this wacky edifice. People need to step out of this country to understand what quality standards means in building |
E no go pass poor people. No disrespect please. I don't know why this type of things does come naturally to rich and well to do people. 90% of multiple births are common among the not so well to do people. |
I need the traditional Igbo dwarf goats. Any body willing to supply me like 30 for starting. My people use a lot of it during traditional marriage rights and other "omenani". It sells faster more than other because of those tradition rights |
Honestly, I respect the early missionaries, especially the Irish catholic missionaries that set their foot in the former eastern region. Totally dedicated and selfless unlike what we have now in the church. God bless all of them. |
malificent:We don't know what minimalist interior design means in this part of the world. Having many things in a space makes the place looks clogged up and space choked. E-money's house comes to mind with over design. I love it minimal and rustic in nature and not all these over design work. |
Antiquesdecor:You are doing great. I have followed your posts and you seems to have a touch of class. I may engage you later if your fee is ok. I also have a great idea of what I want. Just an implementer is what I want |
Larryomooba:Our standard in this country is just too low. Even presidential lodge looks crude. See aesthetics and colorfulness. As some earlier said, see life every where. Pictures that came out during her visit to Nigeria were just dull and lifeless |
MiztaFabulous:And she was even getting likes by people who couldn't read like her. Very explicit question and she and her "likes" members couldn't comprehend. Depending on your salary, give her a percentage. I give 20% which includes all food expenses for the month and some of her petty personal expenses. |
So na for BQ she de stay come de slay. |
Nigeria will always be a dumping ground. Sales is plummeting in Europe and they are looking for a ready market outside the European union . Being a non productive set of people that we are but with unquenchable taste for consumerism, the company cleverly found a fertile market in Nigeria. Kudos to their marketing team! |
PAL123:Bro, how do I get this dwarf variety? I want to cultivate in my compound . About three of them |
see how neat and tidy the environment is. A typical Nigeria building and environment would not boast of this type of detailing in landscaping and neatness. Environmental neatness is something that has to be imbibed by Nigerians. We lack environmental consciousness and neatness. Look at our university environments and cities and you wonder how a decent people could be trained in that type of environment. No matter how poor or rich you are, always ensure a neat and habitable environment. Children learn more when they are in a good environment and the brain connects well in a well greened environment. Once you see a picture taken abroad, you will instantly know and feel the cool serenity. But here, it is something else. |
BiafranDel:Be deceiving your self with your useless religion. Your type will go behind closed doors and self- service and come here and be shouting repent thinking that anything sex is bad. Very common with dudes like that cannot get their own chics |
Chei, Nigeria university environment! what type of graduates do you think would be produced from this kind of environment and setting? Not only OAU, go to other public universities and see how decrepit the environments look. As I said before, in education, especially quality education, learning environment matters a lot in shaping the graduate thinking faculty and value system. Upper class and some middle class people have virtually taken their kids to study outside and I wont be an exception. Work hard so that your kids does not study in this kind of environment since our POLITICIANS have failed us! |
Op, if what you meant by start - up is working for a one - man business in Nigeria, then forget it. Those benefits doesn't apply in Nigeria. You get those advantage if you're working for a one man tech start up in advanced countries. Working for some one-man start up businesses in Nigeria are nothing more than pure enslavement. |
Nigeria university environment is usually nothing to write home about. Always looking like a refugee camp. In education, especially quality education, environment matters a lot. Look at the environment and the quality of people shown there. |
holamix:You do this type of debossed business card |
Ibukunmer:We have a very low standard in Nigeria when it comes to top quality finishing of a building. Our architects and builders are not creative. The same design and usual structure. Use the Beninoise ot Togolese to build and see aesthetics. Honestly, our builders are daft. No creativity. Same old design with block works and concrete everywhere |
dimmikel:Totally agreed with you. He should take SAT and smash it and go straight to Stanford University or Yale. Stanford made me mad during my tour of the school in the mid 90"s. I didn't mind studying religion or even Igbo language there. As long as you are a graduate of Stanford university, you will be respected. |
But is Fayose a contestant in this election? Where is Professor Eleka? The PDP candidate. This election is as if Fayose is still contesting with APC candidate. I haven't seen the PDP candidate make a statement or campaign. Everything has been Fayose. Even APC was mentioning his name at their rally. The guy is really an issue in Ekiti politics. |
Please, show me the picture of that their coach. You showed only the boys |
See how he felt safe and free with the people there. A foreign president for that matter. Can our leaders feel safe and interact with commoners like this. There has to be a connection between the leaders and the people. It is seriously lacking in Nigeria and Africa in general. |
please don't try it. Most Nigerians will always want to leave. You already have a decent job. Work and earn experience. Experience is the most important consideration in the labor market now. Leave academics for now. Thousands have masters and are still begging for jobs. I have been there before you. Job, job, job and job still remains the best. Forget masters please. You can enroll for professional certifications. Ensure you are placed in a good department in the head office - Treasury, FINCON, International operations, Strategic planning, Corporate Services or Corporate banking. Don't mind those already frustrated with the Nigeria situation. It is understandable for them to choose going out. The future is bright with your job which millions of graduate would gladly ask for. Lastly, you are still young. As an African and working class lady, many working class are not fulfilled without marriage. The chances of you getting hooked up in Nigeria is far higher than US. A lot of unmarried Nigerian I know in US always ask for opportunity to come back to Nigeria to work, of which getting a suitor is one of the most important reason. They have worked in US for years being single because of staying far away from home. If you are from the East, you will understand. A lady came back from US to join one FMCG in their legal department after working for more than 8 years in US as an attorney with earnings higher than what the FMCG company is paying her. She finally got hooked and is happily married but still visit US for vacation. Some have gotten married to guys that are doing well in Nigeria and relocated to be with their hubby in Nigeria and look for job just because of marriage. I did my masters and lived in the UK. Take my advice and move on with your new banking job in Nigeria. Don't think of going to US to waste that N15m. Some have finished and are running up and down doing one " per hour" jobs or the other. |
RosaBerry:Story, na you be the person. Just keep reading, you will get over it. |
Africans and religion! Why not leave the traditionalists on their own? Did the traditionalist do them anything? Why destroy their place of worship? The early Irish/Christian missionaries did not tamper with the traditionalists. They worshipped side by side with the traditionalist and won some traditionalist over. Read/Watch "Things fall apart". If a white man comes now and take those idols to the UK museum, the so called crusaders and fathers will go to London and pay to see the traditionalist artifact in the museum. The thing is here with us and we don't take them as anything but an obstacle. People that are not successful always blame one traditionalist or god in the village for their predicament. Please leave the traditionalist alone to worship their gods. This shrine destruction of a thing is so common in the south east with their conservative Catholicism and Anglicanism. Any priest that wants to rise to prominence will organize people to destroy shrines and uproot traditionalist place of worship all in the name of casting out evil and people will sheepishly follow them. Success in life is not by religion but by careful planning of what you want to be and, in thanksgiving to God always. Religion has done more harm than good in Nigeria and Africa. The reason they said "Religion is the opium of the masses" |
