Being gay may have helped him attained this height. If you are gay and have stuff in your head, you will have an accelerated promotion and favours in a work place. Those that openly identified themselves as "gay" in the western countries are always protected and granted rights which "normal" people don't get |
ajepako:E be like say, you sabi their format That is how they behave - you will see them going to court in a very conservative clothing attire to look innocent. See all the female corrupt civil servants or public office holders being brought to court, they will tie headscarf or hijab to look conservative, and yet, when the looting was going on, they were balling hard, dressed in their normal way. |
My friend cashed out big time from his property situated close to the church. At the zenith of the church's activities, the area was usually a beehive of activities. He remodelled his house and rented them to some foreign visitors, especially white South Africans and Germans, coming to the church for one program or the other at a humongous fees. Now the place is desolate and no more foreign visitors. He doesn't want to rent to ordinary people. ![]() |
What the poor passes through in Nigeria is so depressing. Some of these market women, risks it all with their toddlers to go and buy their " markets " in different places as theycan'tafford a nanny or house girl. I saw one, backing her child trying to climb the back of a trailer loaded with their goods. There is no child care, so they take their infants along with them through the hot sun, navigating through difficult parts to make a living. Looking at those kids that just died, its pathetic. Children that should be at home, being cared for.... so sad. |
The mansion for me - the Engineer that handled the finishing tried - simple finishing without heavy "make up". It looks like some of the mansions and castles you see in Greece or Rome. |
oz4real83:If Boeing was from another country, US would have placed a ban on the aircraft manufacturer, with their usual hypocrisy of safety concerns. Over the last five years, major crashes have been Boeing products. They had the gut to crippled the Russian jet and passengers plane manufacturer with safety concerns. Same fate await the Chinese as they continued to test run their own made aircraft, which has not gone into full commercial production. They nearly grounded the Brazilian manufacturer, Embraer, but their aircraft seems more popular within South America. They just have only Airbus, which is owned by EU, mainly France and Germany and Bombardier, a Canadian owned manufacturer to contend with. They didn't allow Japan to manufacture passenger planes because of the defeat of Japan in the second world war. If Japan had been allowed to produce passengers plane, both Airbus and Boeing would be trailing behind the Japanese made planes. |
Blankstare:Looking at her alone, you will know. Yet, some ignorant people will be here salivating about how beautiful women dominated this regime. The so called pretty women are mostly the least qualified to hold public office. They will loot to continue to maintain their lifestyles and "prettiness ". Sadly, especially here on nairaland, people "worship " pretty women. Some will excuse this action by Betty because she fits into their awkward narrative. |
See excuses......." it will be retired with all receipts and evidence." Is it difficult to procure fake receipts to retire advance in Nigeria? They can eat the money and get useless documents as evidence and receipts and submit them to retire the N585m. Fear Nigerian politicians.....at least she needs the millions to keep buying her expensive weavons and gold jewelries. Corruption in Nigeria is just too nauseating. |
That will never happen.....just bury the idea |
Make I hear say any Nigerian referee dey there. Our standards are terribly low in every area. Same with male football.....CAF hardly reason Nigerian referees. Is it with this thuggery that happens every weekend in our local leaques? Just watch the South African league and you will see the difference between decency and crudism; modernity and backwardness. The crowds that attends matches in South African league makes the league interesting. Majority of those that enters stadium to watch Nigerian league are people on the streets, looking for avenue to while away time. |
Ishilove:For UK, you will see them o, especially in a candle light clubs. I don't know if I should call that place a " club". It looked like a meeting joint, where people came to have fun, smoke, drink and discuss issues. It wasn't much of a club for young people. They were older people trying to have fun in their own way, doing what younger people does. Majority of them were not less than 40 years old. |
![]() Around 2009, I wanted to come down from a danfo bus on my way home from work, with my suit and laptop bag, the conductor told the driver to slow down that "pastor" wanted to come down. Even me, I was laughing as he said it. Everyone in the bus turned to see who the " pastor " was. Then, I was working in with an investment bank in island. Now, within my neighbourhood, some see me as a G-boy since I work from home and don't usually go out in the morning, except to go and do something for a client. |
Lounges for me. I hate disorganised places and clubs seem like one. I only attended one club, and that was in the UK then as an international student. The club was usually visited by oldies......single women in their 40s down to even 70s. I went with a course mate who usually visited the place. He had a 47 year old woman that he was always digging it with then. I felt so weird that day. One oldie with tattoos all over her body with heavy makeup came and engaged me in discussions and wanted a dance with me. I had to play along. Later in the night, I started looking for my friend and he was no where to be found. I called him and he said that he had left with his woman. I screamed and said but you didn't tell me. He said, abeg carry that your own woman dey go house. ![]() Very funny experience. Apart from, something like a steak meat that I ate and one spirit drink that I drank, the whole setting was too weird with some of them looking like addicts, huge body piercings and tattoos. |
25, and that was as a graduate trainee or Management Trainee as it was then called. |
I beg you, face your hustle. The year is just starting......leave woman matter. I always advice young upcoming men that just graduated, secure the bag first, no distraction...... let your eyes be on the prize. Once the battle is won, you will see array of women seeking for your attention. You are passing through a growth stage, there should not be any distraction. I am not saying you should not have fun, but please, no commitment or distraction. Let your mind not be distracted. Be focused!!! |
Nigeria and misplaced priority. The same Akwa Ibom that a syringe manufacturing company just folded is commissioning a worship centre. I keep saying it, religion should be a private matter. We should be deliberate with our priorities in this country. |
It is easier to import and distribute than to manufacture in Nigeria. That's the best business model most entrepreneurs and companies have adopted in Nigeria. If you don't import, those importers will import them and sell at a far cheaper rate. I am sure the company is facing serious competition from importers of syringes and other challenges like logistics and human. But as an importer, you don't need many staff and capital outlay. |
Congratulations to her and Kogi people. But one thing I have noticed in Nigeria: Street lights hardly last. Come there in one month's time, it will be a different story. We simply have been unable to sustain projects in Nigeria. Maintenance remains a big problem. |
Wishing him quick recovery......one of Nollywood's finest.... Glamour girls comes to mind. |
Most of all these drivers are under the influence of substance abuse. Public transportation in Nigeria is becoming too dangerous. Substance abuse, Over-speeding and unresolved anger from the drivers are contributing to these accidents |
RadianceRR:Amen |
It has all being debit alerts, including monthly current accounts maintenance charges from Nigerian banks. If things goes well and I get my retainership signed, it will be on January 20 . But so far, client never show any interest o. |
PDP Leaders and dubai!! Dem use Dubai swear for una?? E be like say Kogi people dodged bullet o |
Nackzy:It is like that. Once your finances are not adding up, you will take the anger on something else, even taking the anger on your children. We all face it once in a while. I have had situation I shouted at my daughter or son for something that didn't warrant me raising my voice at them. But I was under the influence of something that was bothering me then. Just remain strong and avoid occasions that would warrant any anger. I avoid trouble at all cost, even at my own loss |
Nackzy:Just keep pushing.....it could be depressing. I always feel for married men in this situation. They wouldn't want to let their wives or children down before their co-wives, cousins and distant relatives, thus increasing the financial pressure on themselves. Remain strong bro! |
XAUBulls:You are correct. I am from Anambra and I know what happens. Nevertheless, there are lots of legit business men and hustlers. Living in an extended family setting, where you are not doing well could be very depressing for the man or the young guy. You could see their countenances on certain family issues. Sometimes, they thread softly to avoid any body yabbing them stylishly. For married ones, the pressure from madam will make the man to lean by force. For families where they cook together and live in the same compound, you just have to contribute, no matter how small to avoid you and your wife being used for side talks. |
Nackzy:So sorry. It does happen. I have seen lots of it. If you are the first son and not able to provide, respect will just vanish. I am not talking from the angle where younger siblings are richer than you. It is different. They may be richer but you are still doing well yourself, no problem....your respect remains. It becomes a problem when you are struggling and you are depending on handouts from younger siblings, my brother, na Oyo. |
So true, especially in the SE. Not just among siblings but cousins and extended families. The intimidation no be here o from the super rich siblings. The competition and show-offs too much. I pity those struggling in the midst of their wealthy siblings and cousins. To talk or contribute in family gatherings is always difficult. For the married ones, the pressure from their wives increases when the wife sees what Oga's siblings and cousins are doing for their wives and children. May God prosper all men struggling legitimately. |
So, this format never cast, ndeh ![]() |
Una no dey hear! No do pass your power ![]() Na my team this year. As I dey hustle, I no go do pass my power and body. I will not come and kill myself . |
Some of all these business men with so much money. Very high class hotel but what about how the hotel is going to pay back itself. I doubt if they will be getting occupancy rate of up to 15% at ordinary times. Highest will be 20% at festive periods. He should have put this thing in Awka and make it a den of politicians and high class yahoo boys. In business and property matters, location is key. I guess he doesn't need the money from the hotel business as there are other channels he is making his money. Hotel business is not profitable if you are not in a good location without contact to bring government and private sectors functions to it. |
More clients and ability to conclude any major business deals. |
