Make una leave all this una first class thing.....Most first class materials are not creative. I will rather have a child that is creative, skillful and smart with great motor and cognitive abilities than having a first class nerd.

You hardly see first class materials participate in creative contests, where personal attributes and creativity are in full display.

I don't know how the man does it. Imo state was the state visited most by Buhari. Now it is Tinubu! But its all good for Imo people. As long as the governor can get the federal government to finish some federal projects in the state, no problems. Also, Tinubu needs the support of every Nigerian to succeed. SE should also rally round him. He is now the president and I see him surpassing Buhari's uninspiring tenure. Tinubu should prove everyone wrong!

I didn't even spend up to 20k during my own first child. We got all children's things during my wedding. However, alot of my now retired professors at OAU finished from Urbana, Stanford, Yale e.t.c in the 1960s -1970s. They taught us in the early 2000s with outdated books and text as well. That means the Nigerian corruption also kills talent.

A particular course, Engineering physics was set up in the era of Obasanjo in the late 1970, so that the graduates from the program can help build Nigerian nuclear power stations. Some of the graduate from that program ended up being lecturers at OAU and fell to the Nigerian system as well. One of the Drs then use to do rentals as side hustle to add up to his salary. Our educational system and its products should be responsive to the yearnings and developmental needs of the country. Greater percentage of the first class are already seeking for further studies outside the country, where they will later reside permanently. David Akanmu won't even do his NYSC before he secures scholarships to top schools in US.

It happens.....I do experience that sometimes but I am not an extravagant person. In my house, there is no food waste. If you try it, na me and you that day. Some of my relatives that comes for holidays are guilty of this......you will go to the kitchen after each meal, you will see some left over foods on the plate. I had to ask them whether they didn't know the quantity they could finish? Same with bread, you will see some leftover slices. It's now a rule......Once you come, you will be read the rules and regulations. People are hungry and are on the streets. There should not be any waste. However, once in a while, I indulge myself in what I like to eat, wear, visit or to provide comfort to myself without considering anything. At least, I have to enjoy my hardwork.
