Even though I got married late, I.made sure I was gainfully employed before taking the giant stride
I love my wife and she loves me too. I carry 98 % of the home responsibility, recently, because things are on the high side and my wife is working as well, I told her to be taking care of filling the gas while I handle other bills.
I have observed that anytime I go near the gas maybe to make food or boil water, she will remind how expensive gas is right now, after all, if it finishes, I won't give money to fill. These words hurt me alot as this is the only thing you do for us in this house. I know how much I pay for rent, DSTV etc with other utility bills.
My thoughts now are;
How do men which their wives are feeding them cope with insults and embarrassments that come will every meal?
How do unemployed/ underemployed men cope?
What if anything happens with my job, will I be able to stay in a verbal abusive home?

It's time you give her additional financial responsibilities so that she will appreciate you and talk with caution

For men whom their wives are bread winners, they have to humble themselves for absolute peace

When I collected Prepaid for my tenants, one of her friends in the next building asked her to give her light because it's a new site

My tenant told me and because I have good rapor with my tenants I told her ok

After two days, I checked on her but she was not around, I told her that I invited NEPA officials to permit her to give another person light but NEPA said, she will write under taking that if anything happens to the prepaid, she will bear the cost

Meanwhile, she should pay me the cost of the prepaid and signed agreement before the connection

Till this moment, they didn't ask for it again

Honestly, I was the one that plan this, just to stop her next house neighbor from connecting light

Because I know what I went through to get the prepaid

I've been thinking lately cos I am the type of person that loves his space.

I am not a lazy type, I have done a factory job, security and to name few. The only achievement I had is my ND program which since 2016, I have been finding it difficult to run my HND due to family issue. I am not married yet but have a son in my care and my parent too. The main issue here is that both mom and dad has been calling me on phone to leave Lagos which I understand their point of view but the truth is I don't have any other place to go. They now see me as someone who is not listen to them. To be frank, I will like to relocate but have no one to talk to. I really can't go to their base in Ekiti. This is never something I pray for. How can I make my parents understand that I am not try to disobey them, just that the plan aren't forthcoming. Bcoz to relocate, you need someone who will be ready n happy to accommodate you for awhile n also a place to work is very important too.

Listen to them and understand what they are talking

So I had to create a new moniker for this purpose as I'm Well known here.

Got married some two years back. 2019. And things started up fine and later wasn't able to impregnate my wife... But discovered the Egg white method did it and the next month my wife took in.. things started on a very good note. Until I started having issues at one point and was so broke and money wasn't coming in...
Got worried and I had issues with my accommodation and had to relocate to another apartment without money... I borrowed 200k.. paid the rent and started off. Then I meant with a man and did some kinda work... And things started work again.... But I'm always in and out of cash....
Note. Over 30years plus of my life. I've never borrowed money once but now.. after marriage things isn't working fine... And I had no choice than to sort for money...

My worries now. Is that I have a friend she lives overseas she has dreamth about my mother in-law more than 5times appearing in a witch manner to attack her. (This friend of mine we all grew up together and the mom lives in Germany before her death at one point years ago promised to gift this in-law of mine a Car� but I don't know the other part of the story why she didn't... And the mother of my friend is dead now) but my friend had those dreams about her..........
Problem and worries started when my spiritual guide told me that my mother in-law is a Government (witch)... And this has been affecting me emotionally... I don't know how to handle it... And can't even open up to tell my wife...

I've tried to blank out some part....

My question now is that... What effect does it pose having a mother in-law that is a witch.... I lost 6m 15th of August 2021. Things isn't working fine... I'm thinking of running away from the marriage..but I have less than one year old daughter in-between us.. As I don't know what to do....

Hello nairalanders, Please as I am typing this short piece, am seriously boiling with rage as am unable to sleep. There is a building beside my house where one of the occupants is always putting on his gen at any slightest opportunity of NEPA outage.

The most annoying aspect is that he uses the generator deep into the night and the noise usually affects my sleep. Presently, there is light in the area but I guess they did not recharge their prepaid meter so he switched on his generator since around 7pm and he is yet to switch it off as am typing.

Is a tenant given the right to switch in his gen overnight while denying others the right to good night rest. I am thinking of reporting him to the appropriate Lagos State authority but don't know which one can take it up seriously.

Why not approach him to position the Gen elsewhere as the noise affects your sleeping
