Nigeria has always had problems of service delivery in the public service sector, to solve most these problems will require a decentralisation of authority. I wont be suprised that pasports are being processed in abuja n returned abroad or most papers have to be aproved in abuja etc. We need to stop this trend and instill professionalism in the civil service. |
this is a clear game of the north, Atiku will loose against PMB any day any time in the north, his change of party im afraid is inconsequential. As for his supporters, there is no point hanging on to a sinking ship. Why must we recycle these corrupt guys all the time? Why are we always present with a rock and a hard place by the political elites? its sad that we keep finding ourselves in this situation close to every election period. |
Growingboi:Its not that they are purposefully doing this, most Companies now use CV filtering tracking systems, which is a software that picks keywords, age, location and length of experience. Most times you just use one CV for all job application, but one CV doesn't fit all jobs, you need to learn to read the job specification in the job advert and tailor your CV to fit the description thereby making your CV meet the keywords condition of the software. If you are trying to get into companies like Shell or GE, im afraid it is difficult or near impossible. Why? Shell has a total of 4500 core staffs lets assume that 10% retire every year and they employ 10% every year(a bogus assumption by the way), meaning that they take only 450 staffs yearly, about 1 million people do NYSC every year combine with the people already in the market the competition is mad, to compound issues they give preference to those that studied in Manchester, Aberdeen, Yale (ivy leagues). My advice is get in to a low or mid level company build your expertise then apply to the big companies. The situation in Nigeria is not different from countries abroad in america 70% of people who come out of college never get to work for companies like google, GE, Mobil etc, they get to work for SMEs. My dad always says something "before you start looking for something in a system, first of all understand how the system works " The sooner you understand how the employment system works the better you will be shocked that some of these low and mid level companies have better working environment and flexibility than the big ones. |
This is the genesis of our problems, why must we have to wait for a superman minister that will perform magic? Why can't our ministries have vision, long mid n short term goals and the minister just coming as the face of the ministry with the ministry as a working engine. |
rozay12345:Your paradigm is where our problem lies, why do we have to always choose heart attack or cancer? Why cant we choose good health? Pmb atiku all belong to d political ruling class and they are all terrible leaders if you disagree pls mention on milestone they have achieved for this nation? The nigeria situation is not a devil or deep blue sea senerio its sea and land, demand for credible leaders and we will get them, sad truth is that suffering has been enbeded in our dna. God help us all and may we help ourselves too |
Not educated enough to know about family planning. What a tragedy, too many uninformed people |
His drive to be professional should be commended, i will rather he channels this drive to rebranding the fruit business like creating a fruit atmosphere like none ever seen, that will attract people to the business. |
lol. when u make someone Governor on a platter of gold, he didn't campaign or print a poster not to talk of issuing a manifesto. all in the name of a minority cant be governor. we get the leaders we deserve pure n simple |
Maybe we need to be specific, we want a restructuring of how we develop and our finances. we are tired of waiting for abuja to repair our roads, give us electricity, approve our vehicles n drivers licence, give us portable water etc. It is high time we start fending for ourselves instead of waiting for Manna coming from Abuja. |
The permutations of 2019 still favours pmb simply because the north has no other uniting face. Getting votes in the ss n se will be a tough one, the sw are evaluting the benefits of their supporting pmb in 2015 the results are unfavourable. Pdp is out of the question as its now more of an area boys gathering than a political party. Im afraid of another political party coming into the scene cos it may just make an already terrible situation worse. Pmb has taught me that a good leader is useless without a good team. Pmb assembled a poor team to work for him. |
After all the noise of protest they still installed him prime minister. What happened to the questionable character leveled against him? |
Kudos to the southeast leaders, enough of the crys n waillings its time to lobby and be proactive. |
Bad strategy, started it in 16 states n no user base charge for a year |
A new shepherd was put in charge to nurture the only cow in a family farm after the departure of the last shepherd sudden demise, the new shepherd feed the cow moderately and every evening tied the cow to a post, held her horns and allowed his friends to milk the cow at the expense of the family farm. unfortunately the cow was being milked that it was feed to produce milk, hence it began to grow weak and lean. the family farm owners out of fear for the life of the cow decided to fire the shepherd and hire a trusted Shepherd. The trusted shepherd started work and noticed the health problems of the cow and what the friends of the last shepherd did every evening, he then decided to stop every milking of the cow from both the family farm and externals, the cow is being fed moderately but requires a vet doctor but the trusted farmer thinks otherwise, now there is hunger in the farm house. The new shepherd is now coming out to say there was another reason why he was fired other than gross misconduct in the administration of his duty. |
onlyonechid84:Sorry mate konga is in a bigger mess financially than Jumia is, and konga doesnt have up to 60% of customers jumia has not to talk on products. |
you are viewing this situation from the lenses of a chairman being a God in an organisation. But the truth is that organisations are institutions of business and therefor greater than every individual in it. so therefor individuals identify with organisations not the other way around, if this is tenable, an organisation can issue out ID to all its value creating individual including its chairman. |
Stakeholders is what comes to mind here, long b4 the union of peter to lola the family never accepted her as one of them n still have not accepted her, i remember a statement from Jude asking why peter didnt marry lola when their mother was alive clearly signifying that she wont aprove of it. The fact is these episodes will not end until lola is accepted or psquare breaks up, or peter seperates from lola ( highly unlikely). The big problem is Lola cant be controled by the family hence any decision that peter makes that doesnt go down well with the group is percived to be cooked up by lola. Some paradigm view this as a publicity stunt but evaluating the problem from scratch will make it clear that its skin deep. The lesson for all to learn here is that family are vital stakeholders to every marriage, should a spouse be rejected by the family after marriage, its the responsibility of both partners to device a working relationship in other for peace to reign, its not easy ofcourse but it is crutial. |
Passy089:Family are stakeholders when it comes to marriage, pls be cautious of how you handle your mums disagreement. I believe the fault is from you though, you know dated her for 9 yrs and didnt see it fit to introduce her to your family? Your mum is probably afraid of a stranger coming to steal her child from her, but if she had the opportunity to build a relationship with the wife to be she will be a little more comfortable. Solution to your proble is help your mom and wife to-be build a relationship, let them see how great a personality they are. |
The new cut off mark is a strategy for the institutions to make money. post utme cost 3500 averagely, less than 40% of those who sit for jamb gets to write post utme. 90% of candidates that sit for jamb score at least 120, most of those that score less than 180 can't pass post utme. It's all about the Benjamin's that is not to say that a loophole hasn't been created for runs in higher institution of learning. |
Bad roads, poor , poor electricity, poor drainage, moderately secure, traffic, poor water network. Trust me people only live in Lagos because there are few other choices of livelihood. |
ecoeco:Rather sell a product that cuts across rich and poor. Eg dangote: rich n poor use cement sugar petrol. Bill Gates: rich n poor use windows os. |
oluwasuski:Kill switch you say? AI will evolve to a level that will change its own programming language, how do you beat that? the feud between facebook founder n tesla founder is enough proof that we need to worry about AI. |
Rather PDP joined the elite of nigeria through sharing her resources, n PMB decided to share the resources to very few hands. |
Nigerians have very short memory, this is a media tactic to keep people talking about Biafra n I must say it is working. |
Oil n food smart man. |
PDP is Heart attack while APC is cancer, either of them will finally lead to death. In other advanced countries all our past presidents will be in jail for supervising the looting of the nations common wealth. We simply need politics with idealogy and vision, the moment we stop sharing money n food in politics then will we be on the road to sane politics. |
Afam4eva:Politics is business everywhere in the world if you doubt it go ask the democrats about Obama care. Politics is about interest pure n simple. |
I don't understand are women now commodities that can or can't be affordable? Abeg madam change your language n stop objectification, women are people not things. |
I remember tell someone last week that irrespective of the cuts taxify try to execute, uber had the financial war chest and will bleed them out of market, all this is subject to time. |
First of all government do not have any business funding NFF, football is a luxury in the country, I mean we have millions of children in and out of idp that have not had a meal today, why then should government be paying the salary of a coach. Can't NFF liaise with multinational companies thereby signing a sponsorship/advert deal for the span of the coaches contact? I also believe we Nigerians should stop supporting nonsense, NFF should be held responsible for football not government |
GEJs government is the worst government we have had in the history of this country, the man innocently allowed these people plunder the country in the name of I'm ignorant, I mean this is one person having the budget states combined in his living room. It is really sad. |
Regrouping of the Niger Delta, politics in the coming months will be interesting. |
