FamilyRe: Why Are Some Families Like This? by Gloriagee(f): 9:11am On Jun 08, 2020
Niceness should not equal being a doormat n for some reason in this country, people like to abuse niceness so she should grow a spine.

Notyamate:
This woman is a very nice person. In fact, she's one of the nicest person I've ever met and I still don't understand why her husband's families are treating her like this.

Some of our neighbors here are trying to get a lawyer for her but she's scared these people are going to harm her children (spiritually).
FamilyRe: Why Are Some Families Like This? by Gloriagee(f): 6:53am On Jun 08, 2020
Well she should support anyone that gets her a lawyer to fight for her. As per spiritual attack or not, they are gonna attack her either way n God will definitely protect the widows and fatherless n she can always step up her prayer life. She owes her kids a better life for Chrissakes . Her 16 years old girl working at a Nig filing station could be exposed to all manners of sexual predators but it's understandable if there's no alternative option.

Notyamate:
There is this woman in my compound who is a widow. She moved in with her two children some months after her husband demise. Although I don't really know her story but I heard her mother-in-law (husband mother) chased her and the children out of their house in the notion that she killed her son.

Since she moved in this woman and her two children have been living from hand to mouth. Her first born, a 19 years old boy was given admission to Fuoye last year and it was a miracle he didn't missed the deadline for tuition payment. Before his admission this boy has been working as a salesboy so he was able to contribute some money towards his tuition, also with the help of his boss and some other good Samaritans.

When this boy told his father's family about his admission, they were just making promises upon promises and in the end none of them contribute a dime to his admission.

This Corona period has been hard for them as this woman couldn't go to work, she works as a food seller in a secondary school. Her 16 years old daughter wrote UTME this year. The girl has been working at a filling station to help her mother during this lockdown.

Few days ago someone told this woman that her husband's family have been selling his properties, that some days ago they sold a landed property worth 500,000 and have shared the money among themselves. And to think this woman has been sitting at home for almost three months without a kobo in her account and here are the families selling her dead husband's properties without her knowledge.

This woman is a very nice person. In fact, she's one of the nicest person I've ever met and I still don't understand why her husband's families are treating her like this.

Some of our neighbors here are trying to get a lawyer for her but she's scared these people are going to harm her children (spiritually).
FamilyRe: When Your Own Mother Puts Pressure On You To Have A Male Child by Gloriagee(f): 12:46pm On Jun 05, 2020
I sort of inferred that you are placing the primary responsibility for determining the baby's gender on the mum which I can assure you is the wrong way to go. Let's forget all the xy chromosomes thats been medically proven n focus on the fact that marriage is intended to be a partnership so that wetin pain oko go pain iyawo n vice versa.

Second, from the spiritual angle wat makes you think ur wife cant be 'attacked' on your behalf not to have a male child afterall its your name thats been supposedly preserved not her father's name. Even Isaac prayed for his wife after 20 years of barrenness so u sef can pray. E no go comot anything for your body.

Thank you to everyone who gave their sincere advice

Thanks for the info. Maybe they are not using the test strips properly or they're fake (Naija style).

eyinjuege:
Ectopic will always test positive, but a scan will not pick anything in the womb
FamilyRe: Is It Possible For A Pregnant Woman To Fail A Pregnancy Test? by Gloriagee(f): 8:36pm On May 30, 2020
Dunno, could be ectopic. Still insist op's wife should go to the gynecologist.

Jullima:
At 3 months? Mbanu. Unless the PT is fake.

Op, at three months, you should already been seen by your Gynae. A blood test should’ve been done and scheduled scan visit. Foetal heartbeat should’ve been detected also ( I may be wrong )

I hope your wife’s case is not all these fake fertility clinics, that give her concoction to drink that mimics pregnancy symptoms and even a big belly. Just go to a diagnostic lab and order a pregnancy test with blood drawn. You can never go wrong with a blood test.
FamilyRe: Is It Possible For A Pregnant Woman To Fail A Pregnancy Test? by Gloriagee(f): 4:48pm On May 30, 2020

Thank you Eyin.

eyinjuege:
Stop replying madam.
By now, you should know your sister should be speaking to a lawyer and keeping you mouths shut and your plans to yourselves.
There are many Nigerian communities in the UK who can give you good advice on how to go about this matter. I'm talking about people who have been in the system long enough (at least 10 to 15 years) to know how it works. Seek them out first.
You should also be able to get free legal counsel too. The police should offer you one I believe.
Go online and find out also about the citizens bureau and get advice from them too, if needed.

I'm not saying women should be absolved from taking responsibility.
I personally take responsibility for my mental health. Not everything is worth my time and I guard my space jealously. I'm just tryna see things from her perspective n not be so judgmental.

Eketem:
Okay na. They should stay and be dragged like this since it is too much to ask women to take any sort of responsibility for their actions.

The whole thing is so messy the man has them where he wants. I cant stand women who love the position of victim while being toxic themselves.

With the message about wanting to get a british baby madam can kiss her stay bye.

Na wa o. Wat on earth will someone gain by rewriting the story when you know the reality is different? Self deception is the most mind boggling aspect of deceit cos after every every the reality is waiting.

sassysure:
grin
I have since learnt not to conclude a case here based on one side story.
Except it has something I want to comment on generally, I stay off.

There was exactly a thread like this months ago, the man painted the wife so black and was riding on the euphoria he contradicted himself. 20 something pages of people condemning his wife. Their story is exactly like this one.
Then the wife posted, katakata busted. He couldn't defend himself again and people started reading his posts twice, thrice to see the flaws he was trying to hide.
I even made him admit he was bad to his wife. When tide turned against him, he deleted and ran away. cheesy
FamilyRe: Wife Trying To Ruin My Career Within A Few Months Of Arriving Abroad by Gloriagee(f): 6:59pm On May 24, 2020
Yeah, in an ideal environment, people are perfect. They don't make decisions based on emotions and societal expectations.

I may not fault her for leaving the control of her future to someone else cos living with a personality like this can make you doubt yourself. N if the violence emanating from her is
a one off case, I empathize with her.

A typical Nig woman can't leave a marriage easily - so many vested interests and opinions. I always believe a separation is even better than going this way cos nobody is worth going to jail for. I also believe in being a good example for my kids so there's that too.

Eketem:
No excuse for acting crazy
She is an adult and should be in charge of her emotions, she should have used the law or left him not join in the violence
FamilyRe: Wife Trying To Ruin My Career Within A Few Months Of Arriving Abroad by Gloriagee(f): 6:22pm On May 24, 2020
Exactly why I hate being in toxic environments. Even if she acted crazy on an occasion, she may have been goaded to do so or maybe she just snapped. Wat a controlling personality...

Eketem:
My goodness; always good to wait for both sides; see how the OP is jumping everywhere threatening those helping the wife as if he holds the key to the UK.

I know it is you Mr " Friend " the abuse and manipulation is so clear what a shame.

It is sad that the wife didn't take action when she should women always sentimental now her inability to act is used against her.

I hope this ends well.
Clearly a sick man

Na real wa

Ayomidate:
So this doctor is here again to tarnish the image of his wife. When will you rest Mr docki. You go from one blog to the other creating fake username to justify what you did to a loving and loyal woman. Why not tell them on this forum how you use to beat your wife black and blue in Nigeria. Why not tell them on this forum how the police has arrested you on various occasion in Nigeria for beating up your wife. Remember to also let people hailing you on this forum know how you have a case with the human rights commission back home over your senseless beatings and abuse. Good thing you moved her to the UK last year. How have you been treating her since she moved to the UK?

You don't allow her to work, the moment she picks a shift with her agency you run away from the house so she can stay with your three kids. Don't forget the first kid isn't hers but she cared for the kids and lied to immigration the kid is hers to bring the boy here. You kept using the boy against her in the UK to disrespect her and lie to the police. You put cameras all over the house because you were expecting her to beat the boy one day so you can file child abuse against her but God pass you.

Kindly tell this forum how your wife has not been able to have just £50 in her name since she moved to England because you don't allow her work. You don't even give her money for food rather keep the food in your own bedroom. Tell people here how you use to seize her mobile phone not to get in touch with her family and friends back home and you did not allow her to keep friends in England. You've broken her phone on two occasions in your Plymouth abode and she kept hanging on to the marriage to make it work.

Kindly explain to this forum how you login into her social media account to chat with her male friends by trying to be her to see if she is dating anyone. You are the same person using her email address opened on your laptop to contact social workers that everything is fine when she reported you. Have you also forgotten all the threats you made to her if she ever end your career here and how you will end her life. You were only lucky to make a first report against her which were all concocted lies and she was giving a retraining order. You can go ahead and get all the restraining order you want in the UK but very soon you will roast.

She kept quiet all these while to save your career as a medical doctor but don't worry as the evidences against you are quite overwhelming. You can keep running for the little time you have but just kiss your career goodbye. This lady don too suffer and it will soon be payback time. Everything you were able to get away with in Nigeria has been unravelled. This is England you know and not naija

Keep writing your fantasy stories

Wat a wicked and jealous hubby, I presume. Was his grouse the fact that she didn't tell him or that she would earn more than him?

Lamanii22:
True what she did's wrong... It's like the case of my neighbour whose wife lied that she was going to visit her parents in her state(south south). Not knowing that she went there to accept a job offer... At Exxon Mobil... Or so... The man was so furious, he didn't want to accept his wife back o, he was narrating his ordeal to me although he was drunk... me I didn't see anything wrong there cause I felt she wanted to make their lives better.... She worked there for like a year sha, she had to resign to save her marriage....
