Honestly, it's 100pct worth it if you are going with Permanent Residency. You get to settle on time economically in your destination.

If you are relocating through student route, it's largely going to worth it if you do your research very well and understand how to plan your way to permanent residency at your destination in the shortest possible time.

If you are going on a visit visa, to become illegal afterwards, it's not worth it at all except your life is not meaningful in Nigeria.

Whatever you decide, let me end it with my usual assertion. "A Cat in Nigeria cannot become a Lion overseas, and a Lion in Nigeria will not become a Cat either overseas.

You know yourself, capabilities etc. Research your destination and set your expectations accordingly.

Moms (and by extension, dads and siblings) are the only ones that genuinely loves a man.

Many guys of marriageable age are finding it hard getting married because no lady would accept them in that state. But their moms still love and care for them regardless of their present financial state. We were already in Aspen on the day we decided to go to Maroon-bells but at that time, it was past the daily cutoff for private cars. I drove to the office where I had to pick up tickets somewhere downtown, there is paid and free parking close by. The bus took us through the gates of the Maroon Bells and dropped us off at a spot that was for parking inside, after that we were free to roam around, hike up the mountains, do whatever. Buses that return people with tickets to downtown Aspen leaves every 15mins until 1pm, then every 20mins until 5pm.

For cars, if you have your ticket, its just to drive to the bells and park there but you have to get in before 8am for day visit(12am-4.30pm) and after 5pm for evening visit(5pm-12am), the parking is $10. I am not sure about the cost but there is also a 24hr and 2 nights option. I attached pictures of the parking spot.

That mentality you are describing here is not about culture. It's just a show of not being supportive to your partner.

The time of the year and time of the day you plan to to visit determines the ticket options available. The page says to book in advance but I bought my tickets same day, there was no parking ticket for that time of the day so I got bus tickets.
Return bus ride is $16/adult, one way is $10 and I think car parking is $10. It allows overnight stay in the bells and with the lowest elevation there being just about 10,000ft above sea level, it's going to a gorgeous night sky.

I took the coursework route so I don't have publications or works.

It looks like you need to build your profile further along those 10 criteria. Look at those criteria, check those you can build quickly within few years and work towards them.

You can pursue OPT, H1b for now while building your profile towards NIW or even EB1A.

This is perfectly normal. Many people spend years to build the profile and I think you are on right track there.

Nigerian HND is equivalent to American Bachelors degree.

You need to contact WES, USA to do credential evaluation for you and start applying for your masters in American universities.
