Naija men will keep marrying lazy and broke women. The average Naija man will put his ego and prick first, before his senses.

I love Naija men. They will keep working hard for their women to eat. See finishing! The ranting is just a hobby for them |

raymi: It hurts me, to say the least, that you feel this way about Nigerian men. I feel it is necessary to let you know that there are still many decent men out there. Do not allow the misdemeanor of some deviants influence your opinion of the whole bunch. Men who will love, respect and protect women are still very much available in our society. Don't give up on humanity. Don't give up on us. True. At least I can attest to one of such |

Family › Re: Do Men Here Have Sisters At All And Still Bash Women This Way? by ImaIma1(f): 10:30am On Jul 09, 2019 |
It strikes me that the negative, and derogatory remarks used against women here is a defence mechanism; a subtle response to the sudden assertion of rights by women.
Plus the frustrations that come with the hard times.
Imagine one telling me i am dumb, i don't have a brain, etc. I just felt for him because i tried to understand and imagine how frustrated he may have been. Bitterness used to be a woman's thing but the men seem to have adopted it.
Most of them will avoid this thread. It is still on the first page. If it was a topic on "women are oloshos", it would have been on page 20. |
Travel › Re: Which Country To Migrate To With N4 Million? by ImaIma1(f): 8:14am On Jul 08, 2019 |
moorebucks: I've been living in Europe for about 6 years, currently living in Germany for 3 years now. Without any intent to deceive or paint pictures, Obodo Oyibo and its opportunities are blown of out proportion in Nigeria. We the Africans living abroad don't tell our brothers back home the truth about abroad . What they fail to tell you is that even with your foreign earned cert you're placed on the lowest hierarchy of landing a job(professional) exactly below the Indians, most of the jobs they do here you wont even do it in Nigeria with an improve pay, that you end up spending more than half what you earn in monthly bills, they fail to tell you that they save only to return home after one year or two and show off. I wont be fair if i fail to say some Africans are successful here as well but this is just 0.5% or 1% and it comes after many years of hard work.In a nutshell, my argument is if you've got the resources in cash like the OP, be more creative and think of what you could do better in Nigeria, after 5 years with the right mind and discipline you will do better than 70% of Nigerians living abroad in the same period of time . With all this, would you consider moving back to Nigeria? In Nigeria, a great number of people earn a meagre salary, and they still have to struggle for good health care, bad roads, no electricity (paying extra on fuel and maintaining a generator), extreme security issues (kidnappings, ritual killings, etc). We don't have a government that is dedicated to developing the country and improving the quality of life. People die indiscriminately due to unmaintained roads, lapses in our health sector and other areas that is probably alien to the country where you are. The average person here, cannot even save that much money to go and show off in the village. |
Sports › Re: Fulham Football Club Management Staff Arrive Akwa Ibom, To Scout Players ....... by ImaIma1(f): 7:55am On Jul 08, 2019 |
Opepadi: I don't know why the scouts always focus on the east and South south. SW get talent die, make dem come Ife and Ilesha, Yoruba people sabi at football pass Igbos and hi neighbors. Na connection Igbo people dey use. Odua youth sabi do better pass others. Make God lift us up for Yorubaland Maybe the South South and eastern officials make moves to bring the scouts in. Other regions can ask and emulate instead of complain. |
