U sound like a maid is not human.. and doesn't deserve anything good... Your question should have been how buoyant is this man and his family ? If they are really rich, is it appropriate to buy the young lady Nokia 3310 because she's the maid?
He should also send her abroad to study like his other kids or buy her a car since he brought her and she is human.

did you even try to understand the basis at which I said there might be nothing wrong for the husband buying the iPhone for her?

I see jumping to conclusions is one of your strongest skills.

I mentioned that it depends on who brought the maid ... If it was the husband den I see nothing wrong. If it isn't him then his act is questionable.. Try to understand stuff please
Make your point intelligently and like a mature person instead of attacking me.

Even if he was the one that brought her, doesn't buying an iphone 6 for a house help raise an eyebrow? Especially when it is the man
Family › Re: Marriage Is Overated. by ImaIma1(f): 10:04am On Dec 31, 2017
Why choose to look on the dark side rather than the bright side? Pastor Chris and Anita is the best you can do?
Couples are enjoying their marriages but you are having headaches for those that are not.

Marriage has its ups and downs like life does but do you give up your life?

Please try to be an optimistic person because you will keep attracting negativity.
Family › Re: Is It Right For A Man To Show Too Much Love To His Wife? by ImaIma1(f): 9:55am On Dec 31, 2017
Your friend is telling you his opinion based on his own upbringing, experience and conclusion. He might not even be enjoying his marriage but he won't tell you.

You cannot treat your wife like she is a child to be disciplined and expect to be happy. Besides, there is always someone out there that will appreciate her and make her feel loved. She doesn't even have to sleep with the person but she will be drawn to him because he appreciates her.

Marriages should be based on personal choices or conviction by the couple not what another party thinks or says. I know a couple where the husband was asked to be strict with the wife so that she would respect him. The marriage is not really a happy one and the respect...story for another day.

Another couple i know are so playful with each other. They do everything together. The respect is there and their marriage will inspire you.

Just make sure you have a happy home. It is important for your well being.

Hmmm... If anyone is to buy stuff for the maid, its supposed to be the one who employed the maid.

If the husband brought the maid then i don't see any reason why the wife should be upset.

If the wife brought the maid, then does she wana tell me she didn't notice the maid had big bum and breast at the onset?

Story doesn't add up
And it is an iphone 6 he he could get her. Seriously...and you don't think there is something wrong with that.

Anyway, the woman should realize that if the help is sleeping with neighbours and with her husband, she, the madam has a high chance of contacting an STD. Go and check yourself.
Education › Re: 5 Reasons You Shouldn't Attend A Private University by ImaIma1(f): 9:07am On Dec 31, 2017
Public University makes you more independent and develop your decision making. You make your decisions and deal with the consequences. No one is dictating to you on what to do.

I couldn't imagine attending a private university and not being able to leave school anytime, cook my own food, use a phone...

I won't put my kids in Private University. They can't be behaving like kids when they should be adults.

The things parents do to and with their kids these days shows their level of thinking and mentality. Imagine someone here saying the child looks like a black American.
Well...it is their child. If they like, they can add bleaching to it. After all, they are fashionable and trendy parents.

A consentual sex is the best sex, I know! grin grin both parties feels Good After, happy and willing to get together for more next time.

i ve also come across numerous sex wokers, and some of them have very nice personalities, i still pay them even without having sex if they say No!
as i ve asserted earlier i get put off imideately a female say No! to sex. the excitment disappears from my system.

but i must add females should also stop leading some men on and pretentious. make clear what your intentions are. do not give wrong signal.
Yeah!!

Sexx is not anyone's right. A husband has those privileges but should still respects his wife if she says No. If the "No" is a constant thing, then that is an issue they have to resolve.
Sexx is enjoyed when it is consensual. Any other way speaks perversion

if a girl says no to sex, juat leave her alone. simple!! there are plenty girls out there who are willing to have consentual sex, why does a guy needs to force a gir? i don't understand, i ve picked up numeeous girls buy them things, take them out but when they finally reach my bed they say No! the moment they say No i am put off having sex with them, sex is supposed to be enjoyed by both participant. if the girl you are having sex with is not enjoying herself or happy to have sex, then forget the whole damm! disgusting thing! i even still drop them off were i picked them up, say bye with few cash, even though i did not have sex with them, next day they come running back! grin willing and offering sex grin

Remember every girl a man meets is someones daughter, someones sister or brother, or someones mother. they are also human.
Simple!!

Some guys act like it is their right.

Once she is in my house, she should expect sexx...consensual or otherwise.

Once I have spent on her, her body is mine to use as desired.

We need to change this entitlement mentality. It really runs deep.

And even if you think she is a sexx worker, she is still a human being.

I have corrected my mum off course not harshly or disrespectfully. No one is an island or knows all even as a parent. It is just that Nigerian culture places parents as never being wrong no matter what. Whatever they do is right even if it is detrimental to your well being.

I don't intend to act like a know it all with my children. Will be strict but open to learn new things.

Family › Re: Is Love Enough Reason For Marriage? by ImaIma1(f): 5:49pm On Dec 28, 2017
Love is not enough. My friend is less than a year in marriage and they are already talking of regrets.
Marriage needs respect, good communication, understanding, empathy, unity, looking out for each other, caring about the well being of your spouse, being creative, thoughtful...a whole lot. Love is a good place to start from and build on though.
Romance › Re: Any Guy Who Didn’t Spend Up To N15k On You This Year, Cut Him Off In 2018 - Joro by ImaIma1(f): 9:00am On Dec 28, 2017
Joro is right. Relationships and love is not about money. However, someone who loves, gives. You cannot date someone for a full year and not spend 15k.

Even if the girl is not the type that asks. She might be in need at some point and is broke. Even if a lady has her own money, the guy should not take that for granted and refuse to spend.

And ladies should not be leeches. They should also spend and show support.

Money cannot be ruled out in a relationship. If money is an issue for you as a man especially, do not get married until your mind and mentality about it is renewed and you see money as a tool rather than as a god to be worshipped

Family › Re: Marriage Palava part 2 by ImaIma1(f): 2:44pm On Dec 22, 2017
Op why? Don't you know that being married means protecting your wife? Your wife had taken a lot and could not take it anymore. It is unfair to put her in such situation and expect her to be happy.
Your wedding ring does not qualify you as a husband but putting your house in order. How can you allow your brother come to run your home. Whether older or ancestor, he has to respect your home and you have to define that respect.
Your attitude of allowing anything and everything has got you here. You don't seem to have any standards or rules...so anything goes. You drive him to work at the detriment of your sound health and of staying a little longer with your wife and kid. Are You under a spell?
You should know that your brother will not allow you to come to his house and try the rubbish he is displaying in your house.
If you don't have plans to move out yet, pack his things and keep with a neighbour, lock up your house and go stay with a family...friend for a while with your wife.
Your brother is selfish. He will not do for you what you are doing for him. Live your life and let him live his.

Please tell him he is a good cook.I learnt how to cook from my father and my mom sometimes taught me but my daddy was the real deal.Although he doesn't cook now since it is now the work of my siblings and i but when daddy enters the kitchen you know of a real professional.Oneday when i was still little i asked my uncle why he and my aunt are always in the kitchen he said aunty also needs some help as she also goes to work as well to bring food to the table and so he has to help her with something at home and they have been together for almost eighteen years.Truth is there are some men who cook better than their wives.Marriage is interesting although i am not yet married i can see the love and happiness in the lives of those dear to me.You hardly see a woman of today's world who wants to be a housewife,so all those egocentric and self entitled men need to wake up and face reality no woman wants to be a slave in her own marriage. They want to be your best friends and partners.
Very lovely couples. Couples that do things together always last. A lot of immature men these days feel getting married means sitting down and crossing their legs while the wife slaves around the house. Men that help around are more respected and valued contrary to what they say that it makes the women disrespect them.

People are just giving marriage a bad outlook by following some village standards. The men don't want to be seen as weak by family and friends. So they try to act the alpha and omega.

Can't you cook yourself?you can still teach her.And there are women who can't cook and they are happy in their marriages.Cooking is an art and also a skill.Everybody can cook but not everybody can cook tasty meals. If you can eat why can't you cook?
This cooking that some men carry on their head...nothing is cast and stone. There is nothing wrong with a man knowing how to cook. I love to cook...in fact cooking is a hubby. If you don't like a good and I cook it, you will change your mind. I am that good but my husband cooks better (I haven't told him to his face angry )

He taught me to how to wrap moimoi in leaves. I love the way his edikaikong tastes and I learnt it from him....so many things plus international foods. And he is not a house husband. He works.

I just laugh when I read men making funny rules and laws about cooking and chores just to massage their egos and promote their laziness.

Marriage is not supposed to be a death sentence or house girl job for a wife. It is supposed to make your life better...both parties.

Keep your kitchen bathroom and bedroom neat. Your duty before going to work. I doubt you type can maintain employment.
I don't think her comments were feminist. Nobody is superhuman. Couples help each other so that ones does not breakdown. There is absolutely nowhere that states that a woman should be the one to do all the housework.

My husband is very domesticated and it makes me focus more on him. He is the first to notice if I am stressed and tries to relieve the burden. There are some particular chores that I am not allowed to do like ironing...even my clothes.

Don't make men seem like gods that sit on a throne and dish out orders. Marriage works when the two people involved have the interests of each other at heart.

Some Married women put less efforts to maintain their selves because they are already Madams. This is very dangerous and terrible to their marriages.
It is not like that anymore. Women are slay mums these days. Besides that is not really what keeps a marriage, if not, Caroline Danjuma would still be married and Jay-Z wouldn't have cheated on Beyonce cheesy.

The relationship and communication between the couple is important. You guys would be so close that your husband will help you get back to shape and look good not just complaining and demanding.

If the man only gets close or acts nice only when he wants sex,it is a problem. Withholding sex by either party is a marital crime cheesy.

Rudeness comes with "arifin"...taking your spouse for granted. You should treat your spouse with special attention.

Respect is hard for a lot of women because you are wondering why you need to respect this guy that has been your boyfriend. Someone has to be the head and it is him. Not holding on to every little wrong he does will go a long way to help.
