I love it. When the military prevented Kanu from attending his court hearing by raiding his house, everyone supported the military. The Nigerian state turned around to hound his sureties. Folks remained mute. Oh well...Like they say, " evil thrives when the good ones do nothing" Now it is Saraki's turn. They invited and prevented him from responding to provide an excuse to rope him in. The devil you fail to tackle when you could will end up killing you. Saraki and his cohorts will learn the hard way. They thought they were doing Kanu not knowing they were fertilizing the soil that would swallow them. // |
OBJ vs. Atiku. If you have power and don't know how to use it, the principal will decimate you. Atiku refrained from exercising his power to check OBJ and OBJ ended up castrating him politically. Now Saraki knows what to do but chose to be a peacemaker to placate Buhari. Buhari will have him for lunch. / |
/ Why is the minister quoting the expenditure in US dollars to Nigerians? What happened to naira? / |
Those are her opinions. Grammar, spellings, format and common sense are the only requirements. Get 10 HR personnel and they will come with different add-on expectations based on their personalities. / |
Izuogu1:/ It is not about corruption. They are not equipped with the mental capacity to think beyond a certain level. Take a Nigerian, put him in the best academic environment and he will Excel with flying colours. Return the same Nigerian to Nigeria and he will never amount to anything in life because the environment suppresses any logical thinking/analysis. If you want to get the best out of Nigerians, put a foreigner in-charge to manage them. // |
Boko Haram has taught us: Good luck trying to kill an ideology. You can kill the body but the spirit is always there. Aluta continua! Deo confidimus. / |
If MMM can come all the way from Russia to clean out Nigerians, what makes one that folks such gullible neanderthals would not fall for the antics of Buhari and APC? The politicians understand that folks' loyalty ends with their last meal. So they chose not to reinvent the wheel...just keep the gullibility party rocking by any means necessary. / |
LOL It looks like Honda Ridgeline. A pickup driving like a Maybach? Isn't that the way Land Rover sucked some suckers into the redesigned freelander named Evoque. The early trend-chasers learned the hard way. / |
Nigerians like to cajol other Nigerians as being slaves in foreign countries. However, the ones in Nigerians are the worst of slaves in their so-called fathers' land. A foreigner will fly thousands of miles away to come and lord over them with the support of the local law enforcement agents. Who are the slaves now? / |
maasoap:/ So says Buhari's accountant. You are the one in control of his accounts to know that he stole nothing from the treasury. The integrity gimmick fell like a pack of cards with the grass-cutting fraud, Maina's recall and "coded" looting going on under his watch. Yep. He could have stolen under Abacha. Abacha was a one-man's army--paranoid to the core. Buhari dare not move funds under Abacha--the man that reduced ex-generals to weeping dogs. OBJ tried his shenanigan with Abacha and his ordeal is better imagined. IBB recoiled to his shell and remained mute under Abacha because he knew Abacha was the shiznit. By the way, when you get home, don't forget to call your father a kid. / |
Ndonu101:/ US will never turn her back on a leader because of brutality. They supported Sadam Hussein, Gaddafi, etc until US "interests" are at stake. Dictator is the bad name they tag a dissenter before they overthrow him. Believe their PR media at your own peril. Do they abhor dictators? Why are they negotiating with Russia and North Korea? / |
Buhari couldn't care less. He has achieved his goals. IBB, OBJ, Abubakar and other generals retired as billionaires. IBB denied him that opportunity with the coup against him. He came back and became a billionaire too. Financially, he is at par with his fellow generals unlike before. He will not have to move around begging for funds like it used to be back then. The weeping has stopped. He was weeping at missed opportunities but Nigerians thought he was weeping for them. / |
// It is because the hypocrisy of their parents is manifested in them. // |
Eking:/ With all the faults you listed above, what else are you expecting? Transmission? Manual gear is awesome and easy to fix. No. Cars are not lasting longer. If they do, manufacturers will go out of business. Some of them go as far as putting proprietary parts in cars that you can only get from their dealership. Most importantly, maintenance is the key. Although some cars require TLC than others until the owner gives up. You want to put another 50k in a 2003 Camry before letting it go. Why? I mentioned 1990 300E still going strong and you can't wait to let go of 2003. In other words, you surreptitiously agreed with my points. / |
/ Humans are political beings. Politics is not only about campaign and election. In other words, you are asking: Are Christians supposed to be humans? Nigerians are always trying to extend religion beyond its original target. Christianity gave one mile but Nigerians are pushing for 100 miles. What's next? Are Christians supposed to eat? After all, food is a thing of the world. SMH. / |
FestacGirl:/ The business model of Auto industry has changed. Everything has expiry date. They expect you to trade in a car after 100k miles and take a newer model. Cars are not made as sturdy and reliable as they used to be. The manufacturers are more interested in aesthetics, entertainment, comfort than reliability which is why they load newer cars with electronic gadgets, sensors, etc that drive owners nuts when they develop problems. You will see a 1990 Mercedes 300E still going strong but a Toyota Camry 2003 will look like something out of a dumpster. By the way, I don't think car manufacturers have Nigeria roads in mind when they put their cars together. Roads in Nigeria could be classified as off-road. Vehicles plying them should have reinforced suspension. But do they? No. / |
/ When you think about this guy and Evans, the question is: Do you really have an idea how anyone makes money? Some businesses are front for ungodly enterprises. // |
spyder880:Nice but pricey. They have exquisite finishes on the interior. I stayed three nights there until someone mentioned something about some children's death (I don't know the details). It seems that folks are shying away from this hotel due to bad publicity or perhaps the price....very sad, I must say. / |
salvationproject:// Anything that is bound to kill a black is glorified in Nigeria. Potbelly, backneck "canter", alcohol, gambling, betting, every other vices known to man. A bigman in Nigeria can never be an apostle of D.I.Y. It will be more honorable for him to die from ailments related to sedentary lifestyle than have a minor injury from physical activities. Patapata heart attack. Who cares? There will always be someone in the village to blame for the death. Wanna prove you are rich in Nigeria? Be a couch potato. / |
/ All the i-too-know village people yabbing Innoson, shey una see say na humans dey build all these technological wonders and not spirit as your grandparents told you folk tales. / |
Shukusheka:// Does this apply to SARS? / |
Jung:/ Everything with advantages comes with disadvantages. Your look, your brand equals SARS beatings, extortion. Can you at least agree to that? / |
/ Money deposited in the bank is no longer your money. You deposit with the hope that they will have it when you need it. I guess the lady couldn't believe that she had to go through this to get her money. \ |
/ Urinating in public... defecating in the bush. Dropping trash like it is no man's business. Yet when one says that Nigerians are just a little above wild animal level, racial chauvinists will aim for the jugular. / |
skydeexie:/ Don't defend Bible stories with quotations from the Bible. It is like being a prosecutor, defendant and judge in your own case. Evidence outside of the Bible will be more credible. / |
/ Warning anyone will only yield barrage of insults. It is best to let them learn the hard way. / |
/ I don't know where Nigerians get this twisted idea that the pastors care about salvation. They are businessmen whose only interest is money. They only use the Bible as a tool to lure givers and make them lower their guards. Mechanics have tools. Builders have tools. All in the pursuit of money. Pastors have Bible to make ends meet. Interested in salvation? Go on your knees and talk to God directly. // |
So much love for Abiola their brother. They were taking turns kneeling or singing high praises to the ears of Abacha. / |
/ I hope he didn't sleep with him. There is a rumour that Okorocha swings both ways. / |
So even if they want to build cattle ranches, they will give the contract to an international firm while we have more than enough construction companies in Nigeria? Femi Adesina is shameless. Something is definitely wrong with African people's brain. Spit on Nigeria. // |
Engine or transmission problem. When the owner of such expensive car says "I will bring money for the parts next week",... it means "keep the car. I will see you after rapture" There are many high end vehicles abandoned at mechanic workshops in Nigeria. / |
/ First thing first, that is not a 2002 Range Rover. L320 Range Rover first came into production in 2004. / |
