/ Any monkey can get an ex-parte order. A plaintiff files a petition, the judge reads it and appends a signature. Then it becomes a court order albeit temporary. The plaintiff and defendant will eventually have their days in court. In other words, one can sue anyone he/she chooses and give a judge some money to sign an order without the accused knowing it. That's ex-parte order. A date will be scheduled for the accuser to prove his/her case in court. Mostly, ex-parte orders are vacated because most accusers cannot prove their cases. And in a corrupt country like Nigeria, it is the easiest tool for vendetta. It is just a game. GTB can run around for so long before they will be forced to pay. |
I love the story. It is a constant reminder to those mocking Innoson that they could be a victim at any time within Nigeria. / |
Osucoward:/ It is ok. The people you are condemning are not the cause of your frustration in life. // |
/ Not bad at all compared to the Best Graduating student that got N10k. \ |
Osucoward:As inter alia stated, you are quick to believe the EFCC's version of the story because someone you loathe is the victim. Within one week, Innoson will be out and you will never hear this story again. No prosecution, no follow up. Sarki, Ifeanyi Ubah and many others passed through arrest and nolle prosequi in Nigeria. EFCC is notorious for arrests and harassment during this time of the year. The same goes for NPF. / |
Osucoward:If it were to be Otedola, those who loathe him will still gloat which is the saddest thing about being entangled in the Nigerian web of hypocrisy and hatred. |
/ I "love" how Nigerians believe the government or Nigerian law enforcement agencies when the victim is someone they loathe. With all the federal might and intels, FGN still cannot locate Maina to arrest him. But I love Nigeria. Usually those who support evil tend to be at the receiving end with time. Patience used to shut down airports and grab lands at will. Ribadu used to be the shiznit. Aodanka's words were the law. Diezani was untouchable. Tony Anenih was Mr. Fix it. The same process they engineered turned around and haunts them. Those who support the gestapo style of EFCC should not forget that they still have SARS around. One day monkey go go market e no go return. Their cries for equity and fairness will be greeted with the same derision. / |
NwaAmaikpe:Banks have been perpetuating crime/fraud against their customers. Remember that I said banks and not necessarily Nigerian banks. It is surprising that the few who chose to fight back by legal means are the target of your vituperation. Innoson proved his case in court with evidences against GTB. GTB lost in Appeal court too. Why exactly are you against Innoson in this case? / |
Street floodlights at a roundabout. Partial view of a street. Aerial view of Oshogbo would have been better. But they know why they dare not publish such embarrassment to common sense. Evidently, God has abandoned Nigeria a long time ago. / |
"Escobar" Smith? Lucky Luciano? What's in a name? Where is El Chappo Guzman or Tony Spilotro? I guess nobody has gotten to Teflon Don. / |
Funny country. Threat/Strike...agreement...broken promises. Repeat. ASUU will be shaking their heads at PENGASSAN for falling for the same trick from the dishonest FGN. / |
I don't blame Rochas. I blame Igbo people that believe that philanthropy is the hallmark of kindness. Any criminal that makes money, donates to the community becomes a hero and an overnight celebrity. Okorocha used his philanthropy to hoodwink Imo people. They are now reaping the benefits. It serves them right. Sometimes the devil comes with a smiling face. Even the elders are no longer asking tough questions in Igbo land. Everything is all about money. Oh well...let them reap the gluttony they sowed. // |
harrwix:At 50, she was still a "Miss" The elder sister is still being addressed as Miss... A family curse is at work. |
Angy55:Your problem is comprehension. Read again. |
Christmas is nigh. His boyfriend based overseas is about to fly in with bags full of promises. Just speculating... \ |
gbegemaster:Nigerian megapastors/tithescammers have more armed guards than your average politician. What planet do you live in? / |
Isn't he the same man that was caught 3 years ago when he had an accolyte drop a lizard and claimed that it came from the person he was delivering? The least he could have done was hire a good actor who could play dead. This actor is an amateur. He should have gone to a morgue to see what a corpse looks like. \ |
collinsmp:You have not shown any sign that you are a troublemaker. That's why he is feeding off of your meekness. / |
Why can't Nigerians emancipate themselves from mental slavery by stop wearing those stupid rags on their heads that make them look like 18th Century British lawyers? \\ |
This shouldn't be a problem. The bridegroom must let them understand that he will not be contributing financially to their family needs in future. It is a counter offer. // |
stagger:I don't need to read his book or listen to his speeches. What did he say that hasn't been said before? Talk is cheap. I watch what he does. He is a savvy businessman masquerading as a pastor to avoid paying taxes. Good for him. / |
Oyedepo is smart. He sells hopes and miracles through tithes as gateway to wealth to followers...but invests his funds to make a fortune. Dream vs Reality. Some are still waiting for God to pick their calls instead of engaging in productive endeavours. / |
alstacs:By "Nigerian" definition, a mansion is any new house (excluding bungalows). Remember that in Nigeria, when in doubt, use a high sounding title. The same goes for buildings. / |
dabeto:If there was an abduction in Chibok, the first responders should be the police and other security outfits. GEJ was slow but the question is: What are the duties of the police, military and paramilitary personnel? Do they need Presidential order before they do their jobs? If there is armed robbery attack in Kogi, will the security personnel wait for orders from the Presidency before acting? Should the Fire Department in Kaduna wait for Presidential directives before they respond to a fire emergency? Nigeria is one place where folks abashedly make excuses for dereliction of duties/responsibilities for which they draw salaries every month. / |
FastestTech:/ Check out the dressing of that billionaire... while empty barrels like Hushpupy (or whatever?) will be wasting their little money on Gucci products. / |
Personnels of the Department of State Services [DSS] has reportedly killed an officer during a gun duel with policemen guarding loots hidden by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] boss, Mr Ibrahim Mustafa Magu. The fire exchange, according to reports, took place in a farm in Karshi, a suburb of Abuja, the federal Capital Territory. The incident took place late Tuesday evening, when the police officers guarding the loot secretly kept by Magu opened fire on the DSS personnels. The latest report discredited earlier unfounded reports of an assassination claims by sources that men of the underworld attempted to kill Magu. According to Denisaurus News, an EFCC staff placed an emergency call to them as soon as they heard what was happening. Magu currently lives in a luxurious apartment in Maitama District of Abuja, which was furnished for him by a retired Air Commodore, a guest in one of DSS cells. Denisaurus News further revealed that the farm house in Karshi is a newly acquired property, which the EFCC boss does not want the public to be aware of. Effort to reach the EFCC spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwajuren for confirmation proved abortive as he is not responding to calls or SMS. It could be recalled that DSS had asked The Senate to reject Magu’s nomination as substantive chairman citing cases of corruption. In response, The Senate had in turn written President Muhammadu Buhari asking him to drop Magu and appoint another person to head the anti-graft agency. President Buhari had, however, remained adamant and stuck with Magu to lead his war against corruption. https://elombah.com/index.php/world-news/worldwide/22668-revealed-assassination-story-lie-police-dss-in-gun-duel-where-magu-hid-stolen-loots |
/ Sad. 53+17 = 70 When the boy turns 17, she will be 70 years. There is more to having a baby than popping him/her out. Very selfish of her. / |
Acidosis:/ Read this your statement again. So you are implying that fraud must be accommodated because it predates Christ. Unbelievable! / |
Sebastine1994:So all these una yeye hardman na for mouth? Why are you running like a chicken? As a hard man,I expect you to turn yourself in and take what happens like a man. / |
I don't think Nigeria Law school is doing enough to vet their graduates. There are many of them out there not worth the money spent hiring them. / |
Why would any sane person be preaching to Nigerian youths? I can tolerate anything except the European league madness. \ |
Artist carry dread, you carry. Artist draw tattoos, you draw. Who is the winner? SARS! Na more money for their account. / |
