This dam is an earth dam whose primary source is runoff rain water from the surrounding areas and some disappearing streams , it reservoir volume was in the past used for dry season irrigation of of farms ..My concern is that I don't see how the Dam can get enough water to drive those turbines all year long

I have been to Tiga dam in the past and I doubt if that dam has sufficient catchment coefficient to deliver sustained hydro power to the turbines like what happened in the akosombo dam ..
