There's nothing I hate like hypocrisy. Biology told us as students that we are animals, though higher animals. Some other "woke" folk come dey claim say we no be animals. But when it reaches time for action, even animals go dey fear our animalistic displays.

Have you ever seen two dogs, or any other animal in fact, doing some sort of ceremony that pronounces them as husband and wife? Have you ever seen one animal lay claim on another as though its name was written on the other's genitals? The answer is No. Animals can go about and f**k whom they like, and reproduce with whom they like. But human beings, in their twisted wisdom, want to lay claim and monopolise one another in the name of marriage and wedding. Make we dey see na.

The institution of marriage is no longer viable, given the raging vices of selfishness, hypocrisy and greed in the society today. We should just welcome the babymama trend. If two babyparents then decide to be absolutely responsible and loyal to each other, then that's their private business.

I approach this matter this way because I'm a businessman, and a shrewd businessman would do anything to forestall losses. Marriage these days is a wild gamble. You can't part with some of your resources in the name of bride-price and then your wife is bringing another man's babies home for you to train. Na heavy loss on its own be that. Let's just stop this marriage stuff please. It's not making sense again
RomanceRe: Kemi Olunloyo: I Have Never Been Married At 56 Because I Won't Submit To A Man by Jeferious: 9:16pm On Dec 30, 2020
Told Zinny same thing I've been telling other girls. That I want a FWB stuff with her, since we fancy each other very much. No need to commit since it involve more serious emotions, and I will definitely not ask for commitment. Still got the same answer as before: No. No commitment, no "entanglement". You are only free to run your hands all over my whole body the way you like, and I don't mind taking off every piece of cloth on me for you. But my honey-hole is out of bounds....till you commit. I committed, and enjoyed wifely duties from her and the girls before her, and even though I didn't ask for it, they were submissive to an extent.

I'd prefer to run things with the Kemis of this world, at least since they won't need commitment too. But the truth of the matter is this: women are very possessive and territorial, and the moment a Kemi meets the man of her dreams(a man of higher social & financial status as well as good in bed), she will demand commitment from him, and will submit to him. It is just natural for women to submit in heterosexual relationships. The question is if the man is worth the submission in the first place.

For those who would mention me for counter-argument purposes, no much need doing so. The marriage institution may be living its last days. After that, baby-mamaism and other related cousins of relationship with marital strings attached would take over. I would love the new development, because I so much hate the idea of bride-price. Let's see which gender will enjoy the new order more

The thing is just that women have the advantage of "presumptive innocent". The average man hardly believes that women are quite capable of evil...not until they have fulfilled the act. It's just the way the average mind is aware, probably because women are more feeble in nature. Also, they look more attractive compared to their male counterparts, hence the term "fairer sex". So they are hardly suspected as being capable of evil till the deed is done.

Don't be angry. Just talk to her about life. She has already started, all you can do to help now is advice. Just laugh with her, form a similar story about your past that will make her relax to talk to you. Even if you are not a bad guy when you are at that age, just cook a story. After that, advise her about sex. Let her know how her moves now can affect her future. Don't tell her not to have boyfriend cos she has started already.
Tell her the kind of guys she should be rolling with - Cook a story about how a lady was unknowingly dating a cultist and she was killed by a rival gang one night that she slept over in his house.
Tell her about heartbreaks - Cook a story of a lady friend of yours that ran mad after a heartbreak and she couldn't continue school.
Tell her about STI's - Cook a story about how a strong Christian sister you know got HIV through her first sexual intercourse.

Right now, you want to be her best friend, not uncle. After leaving, make sure you keep good contact with her and always advice her. Every time you call her, ask how many boyfriends she has now. Be her friend, she will trust you.
My brother, how I wish the young woman, and women in general, would understand this "nice approach" of yours. But No!...e go even add to the "see finish" sef.

ThierryJay:
Hmm, where do I start from. First I ain't a kid. I probably started watching ball earlier than you since you said you thought Maradona was an average player. At least I had known he was head and shoulders above his peers since 1994.

While you have put up a number of reasonable points in your post, permit me to correct some over exaggerations. First, it is a misconception that the quality of defending is based on the frequency of rash tackles made. In many African countries today, those sort of tackles you described are still common with poor pitches. Yet when these rugged African teams take on a a Manchester City, they'd still get walloped 7-0 with a Raheem Sterling probably scoring a brilliant solo goal amidst the rough tackles.

Elite defending takes more than rough tackling. Until the 1990s when player fitness levels improved due to technological advancements, the level of defending was not as good, as defenders where slower then and typically left more spaces in between. They try to make up for this defect with last gasp rough tackles. I watched many of Maradona's games (recorded tapes) for Napoli. Teams were not parking the bus against him, so most times defenders approach him individually and get rough on him. Messi has faced a whole bus parked defence in over 70 percent of the games he played. Watch Maradonas goal of the century and Messi's similar goal against Getafe. You'd notice that the English defenders were slower and Maradona eliminated them one after the other, but in Messi's goal there were two markers on him at the same time on at least two occasions, so he had to dribble faster than Maradona, to break through.

And while it is true that red and yellow cards were introduced in Mexico 70, players had always been cautioned and sent off long before but by word of mouth from the referee. Placindo Galindo of Peru was the first player to be sent off in a world cup match in 1930. So the card thingy does not imply anything of note in this debate.

Talent will always be talent and will stand out regardless of the era. Personally I believe Messi especially the (2008 - 2013) version will make a mince meat of the sub-par defending of the 60s to the 80s, regardless of the rough tackles. FYI, I hold Pele and Maradona in high esteem and have never underrated them. And I have stated many times here that I consider Messi, Pele and Maradona as equals and nickname them the three GOATs on the basis of their supreme talents.
Bros, your analysis too much abeg. See as points full am. Abeg just manage my "like". I wish I could do more.

RomanceRe: Is Sex Necessary In A Relationship? by Jeferious: 6:48pm On Dec 12, 2020
In a relationship where the couple involved is seriously attracted to and fond of each other, this question will hardly arise. A babe can't see a guy she really fancies starve of sex and she won't help him out gladly, and vice versa. It's part of the first sign of love, which is free giving. Lovers are givers. Even the most religious babe has a guy she won't mind giving any style he wants, so far as his urge of sex is satisfied. I've dated one, a "mama" in one of the notable campus fellowships, and only I knew how wild she was in the other room

Cases where couples use money to trade for sex are cases where the couple are not "naturally" attracted to each other, and this depends on how they met themselves. How can you as a guy go out of your way to toast a girl who isn't feeling you in the first place? Truth be told, the toasting stuff is rubbish. From experience, if a girl is crazy about you, she would make things very easy for you.

Lemme just stop here.

We've just been seeing some flashes of the player he was at ATM, nothing consistent. But it's just one season tho, he can improve much better next season.
Griezmann might have been poor, but he's definitely sharper than Suarez. The latter is a clumsy "only-active-in-the-box" kind of striker. He is just in the first eleven because he's Messi's friend. Even Alcacer was better.

I get your point, trust me I do. You talked about Suarez getting a full 90mins on the pitch but let's be honest, is there really a replacement for Suarez? Greizmann has been given the chance times without number and still no improvement. We've adjusted with countless formations to try and fit him in but still nothing, let's not even talk about the fact that he's still played more mins than Suarez and still has fewer goals than Suarez. Then the Vidal issue, Vidal offers something that barca doesn't have at all and it's that surge of power, aggression or let's just say ginger. After Messi in this match, Vidal was Barca's best player. Dude was defending, marking and even attacking, only him. You watch lots of barca matches and you see how nonchalant the team's marking is, it's like they are scared to go for the ball.
Griezmann has been poor at Barca, that I know. But if i remember clearly, this was the same Antoine Griezmann that shone at Atletico Madrid and in Russia during the world cup for France. I recognise how good he is. He is certainly an A-list player.

Surely, Griezmann has a position that absolutely fits him in Barca's team. Even the commentator of tonight's match made a remark about this. He said that Griezmann's ideal position in Barca team is not the left wing, which definitely suits Ansu Fati. And it's true. Even at his former club, Griezmann was not a winger. In fact Griezmann has never been a winger. The commentator further remarked that the positions Griezmann would have done well on have already been taken up, and it's Suarez's position. And it's true. Griezmann is better off as a no. 9 than as a winger. But since Barca miss Neymar and the role he played together with Messi and Suarez, they would do anything to replace the energy that flows from that wing, even if it means buying players at overrated costs. And this has cost Countinho and currently Griezmann their careers. Dembele was the best replacement to Neymar since then, and he's very injury-prone.

In conclusion, I long to see the day when Barca would start Ansu Fati at the left, Messi and the right and Griezmann in the centre. Suarez is now a shadow of himself

I don't think it's the decision of the coach , player power as become too much in barca, that players question the coach decisions, from lineup to subs to tactics, all no thanks to the incompetence of the board,

they even dictate what the coach should and shouldn't say to media
Suarez, Vidal shouldn't be starting marches, Roberto, Semedo, Arthur, Rakitic all need special training on how to attack.

players like Messi now feel they are doing barca a favour staying , no wonder all the coaches they approached rejected them,
Bros, you get the memo.

I'm a huge Messi fan, but there are things Barca have done in his favour that have set the club offtrack for some time now. Truth be told, Messi is big, but the Barca board making him bigger than the club is a huge mistake. No matter how much he tries to hide it, Messi is visibly power-drunk. How on earth would Suarez be playing every game for 90 minutes even when there are better options? He's now irreplaceable, thanks to the influence his friend Messi wields in the club. And I think Vidal too is in Messi's highly sentimental good books. Simply put, Messi's amount of influence is damaging the team. He needs to be cut down to size.

Little wonder Barca have not employed any reputable manager- and they themselves have not been willing to come to the Camp Nou. After Guardiola, the other real manager Barca had was Luis Enrique. Others have been Messi's puppets.

In all, Messi is the greatest footballer ever lived, in my opinion. However, he just has to stick with the magic his feet can produce. He's not a natural leader, and stripping him of the club's captaincy won't be a bad idea. His influence in Barca's internal politics is toxic, and will hurt the club both now and after he has hung his boots

Yoruba land was already occupied territory. The Military Governor of Western Nigeria, Lt Colonel Fajuyi, had been murdered by Northerners and the next substansive head of state, Brigadier Ogundipe, was hounded out of Lagos. In the letter, Ojukwu stressed that Biafran troops would only remain to allow Yorubas to consolidate. Ojukwu also stressed in the letter that after Banjo became leader of the West, they would meet to discuss how long Biafran troops would remain.

What I find amusing are Yorubas who say that Ojukwu was coming to take over the West. The same Yorubas never like to admit that the North had already taken over the West.

I'm Igbo, and certainly admire Late Ojukwu, but this letter to Banjo reeks of arrogance and a desire to dominate the western region. He completely missed it here. Why would Biafran soldiers occupy Lagos after anticipated victory? Is Lagos the citadel of the enemy? Why would a fellow liberator like you take orders from you on how to govern his own land?

Looking at this letter, one thing is visible. Ojukwu wanted Biafra, with Lagos and probably all Yorubaland as part of it. Another astute warlord would have stopped at the River Niger, and then stamp his authority from there. He would have liberated his own tribesmen- other parts of Nigeria not comfortable with Hausa/Fulani domination can then start their own secession project.

Nevertheless, the war has been fought, and we have learnt our lessons

Just know that you can't drag me into a Messi versus Ronaldo debate. Nah Nah Nah. If your eyesight is faulty or your TV has an acute poor image quality, then that's your problem. But for those who appreciate obvious truth, the answer is obvious too for them

For some funny reason, I used to think Ronaldo was 'lazy' till I read about his training and nutrition regimen.

Once again, I learned, never judge a book by its cover.
Me...I read about how hard Ronaldo works in the gym and I initially concluded that he was very hardworking.

I sincerely believe that all that hardwork is not done in order to be fit enough to score "lazy" goals like penalties and tap-ins. He trains for something else that is not football

I agree with you 100%. It's actually a relief to see someone that sees my point.

China has the right to deal with those that messed up with her years ago. I'm only after the interest of the people being governed. If a referendum is given to them, chances are, the majority might still vote for a stay. And they'd still be part of China. But that would, at least, give China a more reassuring position. It's not for HK alone, it could be another country tomorrow. China is becoming the world power, references will be made to them in future just like they are made to the US today.
Unfortunately, the chinkos would not care much if such references are good or bad.
