That the Nigerian Army & Navy do not have. The Security personnels especially with the JTF connive with the Militants to make any governance possible. Militants collect hundreds of millions monthly from the Govt and IoCs.The Niger Delta is a huge racket. Kidnapping and Armed Robbery is become a full fledged industry. Your degree and skill will not take you anywhere in that region unless you know how to use arms. TERRIBLE!

I don't think writers of the article is a Nigerian students of history.

Firstly, I want to remind you that what happened in just concluded Balyesa governorship election also happened in 2011 in Ogun State when former President, Olusegun Obasanjo was fully in PDP but has a preference for immediate Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun over that of PDP candidate General Tunji Olurin.

Both Obasanjo and Amosun were from the same quarters OWU in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital. The rest is now history.

Secondly, writer of the above article should remembered when former President Goodluck Jonathan single handedly installed Serike Dickson as Balyesa State Governor from a member of House of Representatives.

This action cost Chief Timiprie Silva a second term in office. Simply because Silva disrespect Jonathan as a Vice President then.

If outgoing governor Dickson applied wisdom, he should have allowed Jonathan choice to succeed him despite an appeal to Dickson by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to use Timi Alaibe, former NDDC managing director and Special Adviser to the president on Amnesty. Timi Alaibe is a pure politician and grassroots person per excellent. But Serike Dickson preferred his chusion to Alaibe.

Worthy of note is that, Any state where there is former President or Head of States you can't do anything without their support and endorsement not to even talk of a governorship candidate in a state where you have someone who was a former deputy governor, governor, vice president and President of Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively. If you have them in your state, always carry them along in decision making because they are leaders. If you under rates them you do it at your own peril because these guys names or calls alone put many things in shape.

Thirdly, I really commended former Goodluck Jonathan for supporting former vice President and PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar because Atiku played prominent roles in bringing Muhammad Buhari to power in 2011. Atiku Abubakar also was a ring leader to the five PDP governors that defected to APC towards 2011 general elections that lead to loose of power to APC and Buhari in 2011.

For Jonathan to even supported Atiku in 2019 elections, it shows that he is a true democrats. Although no permanent enemy in politics but permanent friend.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan is the last person that can defected or joined APC for what now ?. Nor matter how EfFC or President Buhari bully Patience Jonathan, he can never do anything to Jonathan himself because is a Nigeria former President. Since when EFCC and Buhari had been saying all sort of things to Atiku, his aids have they arrested him before ?. Because all these guys know what power is all about.

Weather Buhari like it or not in the next three and half years he will leave Aso Rock.

Buhari might not be arrazzed directly but people like Maman Daura, Abbah Yari and others would be questioned for their actions while they were in power.

Finally, for APC to won Balyesa State governorship election, I don't think former President Jonathan is the course but the outgoing governor, Serike Dickson for a singular act that Jonathan brought him to power as governor. Serike Dickson supposed to respect Jonathan that had invited Obasanjo to talked to Dickson to shift ground but he refused completely?.
