I worked with many of them. They dont even see their fellow male colleagues at work as their equal or levels. They are all aiming for men who earn more than them or have gone far in their careers. But most of those men are not even looking for careers women or they just keep using and dumping them. Working class women ronu o
Don't mind those career ladies. They'll continue getting used and dumped by men because they are fvcked up mentally regarding marriage.

Women should understand that the price they have to pay for seeking and gaining equal opportunities with men in education and employment is that they've got to give up hypergamy, otherwise, they'll continue to remain unmarried even in their 40s.

People wey dey find yahoo boys. Lol
You don't know what is going on.
I'm telling you! Nigerian ladies are mostly the ones encouraging guys to go into yahoo, money rituals and other dubious means of making money.

In a society where men and women now enjoy equal rights to education and job, yet women still expect their men to earn more than them. The result is that many men now resort to illegalities in order to meet up.

I think women's education and employment does not favor marriage and traditional family system. The result is that we now have high number of unmarried career ladies with consequent decline in population.

Kudos to Prof Oloyede and JAMB
At least, one institution in Nigeria has proven itself credible. I wish others could learn from JAMB.

We need to build a working nation that we can proudly bequeath to our unborn generations.

I’m not even talking about myself, I’m talking about in general. No matter the counsel, at 23 a woman doesn’t have the emotional maturity and stability to handle a home. It comes later in your late 20s. Like I said it’s only the grace of God that help some women and in the long run it always builds up resentment and bitterness. Nobody should rush into marriage for the sole reason of having kids on time. Children are not accessories or toys, it takes a lot to raise mentally stable and responsible children. A woman at 23/22 still wants to live her life, she just an advanced teenager.
This is not true! My mom got married at 15. By 30 she was already done with childbearing and if you see her today with my eldest sister, you'll think they're sisters.

Nature endowed women with everything they need to bear children and raise a family early enough. Mental maturity is relative. The fact that you're not matured even at 30 doesn't mean there aren't 18yo girls who're matured enough to raise a family.

Op, I have stated the same view times without number on this forum but people always respond emotionally to the matter. Women's fertility declines with age and that is the fact!

The worst is that some unscrupulous wives would connive with equally unscrupulous doctors and find a way to put the blame on the man. They'll accuse the man of having low sperm count while hiding the real problem from him.

They do that in a bid to prevent the man from dumping his wife or marrying another. I have seen many of such cases especially when the man is not literate.

I really doubt this because she only gained confidence of going to print out the result by the sms from jamb 362...Out of excitement, she went ahead to print out the result...She never knew she'd be the highest scorer or that things would turn out this way...

I can only imagine her confused mind right now...The scenario is like a man who applied for a job on tuesday and was told by the company to resume the next monday...Only to arrive at work on the said date and be informed by the security that the management said he did'nt pass the interview.....Who do you blamehuh....The man,The management or the securityhuh

Bros health profession like every other sector is division of labor

A nurse can't function as a doctor, a doctor can't function as a nurse too st least not long term

U need different professionals within the health sector to function well

A surgeon is a surgeon cant ve replaced as long as surgery is concerned, a lab scientist is important can't be replaced

You can make a surgeon a lab scientist and expect optimal performance

I don't know exactly what your issue is I gave an example that's relatable don't know why it's annoying to u tho
Your initial argument wasn't about performing specific roles by professionals but about management of a health institution hence your reference to med lab scientist not being fit to be appointed CMD which is the position erroneously saddled with hospital leadership in Nigeria today.

Because you are a professor of pharmacy does that make u a surgeon?

Between a professor of pharmacy and a fresh graduate of surgery which one would u prefer to operate you
Stop typing rubbish that does not corelate with the argument.

Healthcare is not about surgery alone! Surgery is just a component of healthcare. Pharmacy even plays a more central role in healthcare because drugs are involved at most aspects of healthcare.

The fact that we have had cases where some candidates saw a particular score while checking their results only to have them changed in JAMB server is enough indication that the girl is innocent.

In a sane environment, JAMB registrar would resign over this obvious show of incompetence.

no lady trap a guy with pregnancy. Did the guy truly had sex with her? Did he ejaculate? What else are you expecting after ejaculation if not pregnancy? Was the guy raped? How did a lady trap a guy with pregnancy please
Some ladies claim they're on contraceptives and encourage their guys to have sex with them without condoms. Then once they get pregnant they capitalize on it to get the guy marry them. However, not all guys allow themselves to be played in that manner so they refuse to marry such ladies.

I mean hospital administration is different from being the medical director and there are professionals whose duty is to manage health facilities.

I still believe the blame lies more on males than females.
Except the lady was raped, the blame for single motherhood lies squarely on the lady because she's the gatekeeper of sex. If she decides to lock up, sex will not happen talkless of pregnancy.

Not true
Those men tell all manner of lies, some promise the single mothers marriage then abscond after sleeping with her and getting her pregnant,

there are cases where the men insist that the woman has to get pregnant before marriage so that he can be sure of her fertility then after she takes in, he leaves her or abandons her.

There are men that take off condom without the woman's knowledge, halfway into sex because "they are not enjoying it",

There are cases of rape or forced sex, sex under intoxication, under duress etc.

You really think a woman would be so irresponsible as to bring another life to this world knowing how stigmatized single mothers are?
Shifting blames as usual! Why can't you ladies accept responsibility for your actions for oncehuh Even in cases where the lady deliberately wanted to trap a guy with pregnancy but got outsmarted you'll still blame the guy!

An accountant as a minister of finance??

Oboy here we go again

It's about to go down... Accounting is a noble profession but appointing an accountant as a minister of finance shows this people don't know anything about economics what so ever

The minister of finance is the chief economic development policy formulator of the country...
It has little or nothing to do with accounting

A minister of finance should be minimum a PhD holder with 10 years minimum experience in a policy formulation and vast knowledge and experience in macro developmental economics

This is why Buhari failed , accountant as CBN Governor with mere MBA as highest qualification and an accountant as minister of finance again with MBA as highest qualification

Banking is micro economics, minister of finance is macro economics they are not similar at all...

It's like making a Med lab scientist a CMD of a general Hospital

It's about to go down
A medical lab scientist with postgraduate qualifications in hospital administration will make a better leader of a teaching or general hospital than a medical doctor without training in hospital administration. Our hospitals and healthcare system generally has remained abysmally poor because of poor leadership skills of successive medical doctors who have led the system over the years!

If you ask them they'll blame the government for poor funding, but the truth is that no matter how much the government throws into our healthcare system, without good administrators managing the system, we'll continue to record poor healthcare delivery in Nigeria.

I wish Tinubu's government will be wise enough to change the status quo by appointing competent and unbiased administrators who are not medical doctors to run our health sector. But alas, they'll continue to repeat the same mistakes with no better result!

Not true. Cooking your food at home is so much better than buying food outside. I've been eating out for sometime now due to work and I know how much I have spent so far. The worst is that they'll serve you small quantity of food for so much money such that you don't get filled unless you empty your wallet. It's too bad, especially in this igboland.

You folks can fool yourselves all you want with all sorts of wishful thinking. Here is the TRUTH:
A young woman's dream is an EXCLUSIVE monogamous relationship with ONE man she is attracted to.
While for a young man the very thought of it is SUFFOCATING!! grin
The two sexes are simply wired differently.
(Of course there are the few outliers, but we are talking vast majority!)
Available evidences point to the contrary oga.

Evidence number one is that women gain more in sexual relationships than men. She gains both sexual pleasure and financial rewards while men may gain only sexual pleasure and no financial rewards. In view of the above, it becomes obvious that the one who gains more (ie women) would want to have more sexual partners.

Evidence number two has to do with prostitutes. If you talk about those that are more likely to engage in casual sex without emotional attachments, then prostitutes should come first. If women of easy virture can sleep with multiple men in a day without getting emotionally involved with then, then it goes to show that women more than men have higher tendency to keep multiple sexual partners without being emotionally attached to them.
Family › Re: Young Nigerian Man Proudly Shows Off His 3 Wives (Pics/Video) by Jman06(m): 12:46am On Jul 02, 2023
All of you here supporting him have no points at all. Marrying many wives would not stop a randy man from going after anything in skirt.

Let's assume anything happens to this man today and he dies or loses his source of finance, and each of the wives already have like 3 kids, that means the society would suffer the burdens of 12 people as against 4 if the man had married only one wife.

Growing up, I saw many polygamous homes and how war-torn they were. Everyday was always fights and querels. It's not something I would wish even my worst enemy.

So, no matter how you unthinking guys try to present polygamy, I'll condemn it anytime any day because there's nothing good about it whatsoever!

Instead of marrying multiple women and breeding like bedbugs, let African men think of how to compete with their western counterparts in science, technology and innovation so that we'll leave lasting legacies for our unborn generations.

It depends on how much she earns. If she earns like 200k and spends up to 120k on food alone, that means she's not a good financial manager.

A wiser person would plan well so that he/she doesn't spend more than 1k on food daily. This can be done by cooking and preserving your own food at home as against buying already-made food. Infact, in this present economy, one has no business buying cooked food outside unless one earns really high like yahoo boys.

The bottomline is that the black man is very wicked to his kind, that is why they allow things like tribalism, religion and even statism tear them apart. The day we'll start seeing humans instead of tribes or religion is the day we'll develop.

We are always quick to cry racism when dealing with whitemen but back home, we treat our own people with so much discrimination and hate. Men like Marthin Luther Kings and other blacks who fought and paid the supreme price for freedom of the blackman today would be crying in their graves anytime they look into the way blackmen have discriminated against their fellow blacks. It's too bad!
