JpBiz92:Yorubas own education in Nigeria! Check out the number of PhD holders in Nigeria and you'll see that most are yorubas! Schools in the southwest still run the fastest and best quality postgraduate education eg UI, UNILAG, OAU et al, while corruption and greed would not let universities in the southeast run a hitch free PG education. Most Igbos that excel academically are those that studied outside igboland! Something is fundamentally wrong! Even the processes of admission in most universities in the southeast are filled with corruption and lack of transparency! No regulation. Nothing! The so called intelligentsia can't live up to standards because they easily allow greed and quest for ill-gotten wealth get the better parts of them. |
Nonsense! I know the phone and even used it but I'm not married because marriage is not an achievement for a man. There are more important goals I'm pursuing in this life pls. |
Father4all:You'll be disappointed when the so called anti christ or mark of the beast starts right here in Nigeria. FYI, Nigeria and the black nations are the devil's abode on earth! That is why all manner of evil and wickedness prevail here. The evil leaders that loot resources meant for Nigeria's development and use them to take their families and loved ones to the west are footsoldiers of the devil. So, if you like cry blood about what gender people choose to identify with or what they want to do with their genitals, your tears won't make Nigeria better than any of those western countries. Not in terms of morality, righteousness nor in any other thing whatsoever. |
My dear, that's how terrible people can be. Once they think you're quiet they'll start scheming for how to outsmart and use you. They mistake your quietness for foolishness and throw all sorts of rubbish at you until the day you'll react and boom! They'll start gossiping and demonizing you. I've had similar experiences. When I meet people for the first time, I like to play the naive and foolish character in order to get to know the other persons better, and trust me, the result has always been the same. They'll try all their possible best to exploit my "naivety" until they push me to the wall and I react, ehn! The narration will now change with them gossiping about me and making others see me as the bad one. People hardly use their discretion to treat good guys with equal measure of goodness. They'll always want to take advantage of you. It's a dog-eat-dog society out there! |
JpBiz92:Somewhere to hold onto, meaning ![]() Mind you, I'm Igbo and my post was based on facts and personal experience. We are seriously lagging behind in POSTGRADUATE education in igboland due to corruption. In a very short time, we'll have no qualified lecturers in our universities except we employ those from SW or other parts of the country. |
yewit37486:They practice it but not as much as it is done here in Nigeria. I have relatives abroad who work different jobs even in their 70s. One is a dentist while the other is a pharmacist. They practice in the US and still change jobs without restrictions unlike here. I also have an uncle in his late 60s in Australia who still actively does his cab and security jobs while his mates here are either dead or confined to a room. |
Igbos are doing well in other levels of education, but POSTGRADUATE education is dying in Igboland and that is one area yorubas have continued to maintain advantages over the Igbos. Something really needs to be done in that regard! Our corrupt politicians and academics in igboland are killing postgraduate education in the region! Not even UNN can boast of quality PG education with unbroken and timely academic calendar! It's too bad!!! People will enroll for masters that should take a maximum of a year and six months but they'll end up spending around 5years while being extorted by the lecturers all through this period. When you consider all these obstacles and juxtapose them with the fact that not so many Igbo intellectuals are Keen in pursuing PG education after first degree, you'll realize that we have a serious problem at hand given the number of universities that keep getting licensed by NUC every year, and also the growing number of potential university students that sit for JAMB exams yearly. Congrats to the lass |
NotATroll:Just imagine that. Honestly, we need to stop age restrictions and get all hands on deck if we want to grow as a nation. |
Samantha124:Read me right. I said if the marriage becomes unhealthy for him or her. A lady that had the guts to slap her mother -in-law is capable of even killing her husband. |
Samantha124:If the present marriage isn't healthy for him or her, of course I'll advise that he or she leaves the marriage and marry someone else. |
Samantha124:Sure, I will. |
One serious problem we have in this country is the issue of AGE DISCRIMINATION. Despite being a backward nation in dire need of increased productivity cum development, we still discriminate against people of certain age and hinder them from actively working and participating in nation building. Imagine someone who's just 40 years asking this kind of question, clearly believing that at 40 he has grown too old to travel out. I don't blame op though, it is the kind of mentality people have here. Whereas the whiteman would open up his labor market for different age groups (except of course, the very vold and frail), the black nations would come up with some unfounded theories to stop or discourage people from working and aspiring to achieve greater heights on the grounds of age. Tell me why we won't continue to be underdeveloped. My point is, Nigerians should learn to jettison any cultural practices, believes or rules that discourage people from working and aspiring for greater heights at any ages! All these organizations that restrict people of certain ages from working for them (eg banks) should be seriously sanctioned. If we can have people in their 70s get elected as presidents of the country, then we should not discriminate against people of same age brackets that still want to work in any organizations. Let's learn to fire from all cylinders in our quest for development! |
Samantha124:A guy should never choose a wife against the wise counsels of his family. It backfires in most cases, that's my point. |
Samantha124:What if it goes the other way round? That is, the brother (your husband) becomes the one in need of help? That has always been the case in such cases. Most guys who ended up cutting of their families in favor of their wives have always been the once coming back to beg for favor from their families. You know how ladies are quick to dump a guy the moment things become difficult for him. It has happened countless times around me. It's either the guy loses his job or his business collapses such that he no longer have the money to cater for the wife, or he falls sick needing his family's assistance. So, going by your submission, he should be ignored and allowed to suffer or die? |
Great woman! I wish our present crop of ladies in this country could be like NOI. But no! Na to dey follow yahoo boys and sugar daddies them sabi ![]() |
The guy was even cool enough not to have slapped the hell out of her for slapping his mum. I can't guarantee that I would be that cool if I find myself in that scenario. My wife can slap me and I'll forgive her but if she dares slap my mum or my elder sister, I'll slap her back multiple times. |
God abeg, save Mbah for us to complete our 8years in the lion building o. |
Cooldowntemper:I pity them too, my brother! How some people readily surrender their minds to be used by politicians beats my imagination. |
God bless Bill Gates for all his philanthropic efforts towards improving the welfare of poor Nigerian masses. The Federal Government should note however that any funds invested into our health sector without first overhauling the leadership hierarchy of all our health institutions will amount to waste of scarce resources. Over the years, our political leaders have failed to think outside the box and ensuring that only seasoned administrators get appointed into headship of our health institutions from the ministers to the lowest leadership cadre in the sector. Instead, they've allowed physicians through NMA to run the health sector aground, hence our health sector has continually performed abysmally low. Check out other countries with a working healthcare system and you'll discover that competent non-physician administrators are the ones managing their health sector! But here we continue to repeat the same mistake every year while expecting a different result. It doesn't work that way!!! I hope the present administration would be wise enough to do things differently this time. Time will tell |
Small nyash dey shake too |
Sheistoopretty:How much is your price I can buy you for a keep, you know? That's if you meet the requirements |
Zonefree:I no know why I looseguard o, but I go try maintain frame. |
Zonefree:I like am o, my brother! |
PoliteActivist:Lolzzz Exactly! |
After all the years of consuming redpill contents on this forum and other places, here am I falling for another girl. Which kain wahala be this ![]() This life no juss balance. |
I also appeal to president Tinubu to resist every blackmail by NMA and other beneficiaries of our failed healthcare system and appoint astute administrators (who must not be a medical doctor) as ministers of HEALTH and heads of our healthcare institutions. Physicians have failed woefully in administration of health in this country. |
4KNGOATS:Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeww! |
4KNGOATS:You need glasses bros |
So, women also want and enjoy sex And I was even thinking that sex is only for the man's enjoyment considering the way ladies behave when a guy is asking them for a lay. This is why it is very foolish of any man to beg or pay for sex. Very very foolish! |
