And so ![]() Ain't there smart cultists ![]() Many like him exist everywhere. However, I think many guys like him were misinformed. So many lies have been peddled in Nigeria that for one to succeed especially in politics, one must "belong". Many have been led astray by that notion and I think the responsibility is that of government and politicians who don't " belong" to disabuse the minds of these guys and make them see that one doesn't need to be a cultist to succeed politically. |
Even from here I can count the number of people there, obviously APC members! Thousand ko gazillion ni |
seunmsg:See your mouth like "vote overwhelmingly". APC never won Bayelsa election in the first place! Oshiomole knows what he did there with INEC |
This minister is not sounding like a scientist at all! What connects viral vaccines with herbs, forests and all the other rubbish he mentioned there ![]() |
This story is not true! Thank you |
Fountainofyouth:The man might be oblivious of the fact that she was there for the money |
benratigan3:Such women don't marry for "love", they marry for the money |
darlenese:Exactly! They hardly even complain while suffering for their children, but children see all they do. I remember my mum that year struggling in farms and markets. Thank God she's enjoying it today! |
Imo is next please!!! Judiciary should please restore all the mandate stolen by APC so that we can have confidence in her once again. Let APC have the ones they truly won but Bayelsa and Imo were never won by APC! |
APC never won that election ab initio Go ask Oshiomole the abracadabra he did they with INEC RECs etc...It's an open secret! |
midnighter:Exactly. All these stories about deaths from drugs can only be curtailed when untrained people are stopped from dealing on drugs! The issue is, when you want to raise concerns about how to stop those people, some people think that you just want to monopolize the business. They forget or perhaps don't know the health and economic consequences of the current state of things. If it were about monopoly, pharmacists don't even need to stop anybody because no matter what, they'll still be making it. After all, wholesale pharmacists and importers don't care who they sell to. But the right thing has to be done! People should get trained as pharmacists before they deal on drugs. The knowledge is very important to save this country from all these shameful stories of deaths from drugs and from drug fueled crimes in this 21st century. As I'm typing this, tramadol that was supposedly banned is still being sold in some "chemists" to criminals. Our porous borders is not helping matters too. |
midnighter:Or he might not even have bought the drug from a pharmacy! But as usual when misfortunes like this happen people blame it on pharmacists, forgetting that every tom, d1ck and harry sells drugs in this country even without knowledge of effects of drugs. |
They didn't just start using social media, they have been using it since inception. I once interacted with one on 2go when I was using the App. Good morning FG |

You should rather dissipate all the energy in pressuring the government to invest in RESEARCH. Also, put in efforts to attract the private sector and NGOs and make them see reasons to invest in research! If more money is made available for research, you can have grants to work with as a researcher and with dedication, you could breakthrough and possibly patent a product. That's so much money you know. No where in the world do people work as medical laboratory scientists in hospitals with just a BSc in the above science courses you mentioned. Most of these courses were created for the purposes of research and teaching and that is even after studying up to PhD level. Every other thing na jara! |
Shibaraba:Alpha males don't wash their undies??! They must be some dirty bunch |
Rainmaking is real and it is scientific! Some disgruntled elements might have engaged the services of rainmakers to unleash the rain. Or perhaps the rain fell naturally on its own after all it's a riverine area. |
Kimzylove:OK...thanks |
Kimzylove:OK... I understand your plight. Biochem is good for someone who intends going into research and the academia. In Nigeria however, the course has little job opportunities. The only readily available job is lecturing and that is if one has done masters and PhD. The fewer jobs available in oil and gas industries and co are usually reserved for children of the rich and highly connected. Also, mind you that almost all universities in Nigeria offer biochemistry and turn out many graduates into the labour market on yearly basis thus worsening the competition for the few available jobs. PLEASE BIOCHEMISTRY IS NOT ALMOST THE SAME THING AS PHARMACY. Those that say that speak out of gross ignorance! Pharmacy consists of six departments viz Pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical microbiology, pharmacognosy and clinical pharmacy. The course is very didactic and highly demanding. In 200level, they offer biochemistry (everything I did at BSc level including practicals), physiology, Anatomy and other pharmacy courses including pharm maths). In uniben for instance where they offer the course as pharmD, the training is very rigorous as they combine pharmaceutical sciences with intense clinical exposures(they study all disease conditions, patients assessment and counseling, clinical clerkship etc) which enables graduates to help physicians in clinical settings to identify and proffer solutions to drug-related problems through patients interview and assessment. Having stated the above, I'll encourage you to pursue your dream of studying pharmacy because in honesty, the course is rewarding and opens a lot of opportunities in many aspects of pharmacy practice such as hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, community pharmacy, regulatory affairs pharmacy, academic pharmacy, military pharmacy, ambulatory pharmacy etc. If you are interested in research, pharmacy would provide you more options of research areas to delve into. Some uninformed people look down on community pharmacy, but that is the cash cow of the profession! Some refer to it as "store" and stuff like that, but it all depends on how one packages one's business. There are some community pharmacies with breathtaking arrangement such that when you enter the place, you'll love working there. In what level are you already in biochem? If you're still in 100level, I'll advise you to prepare well and write JAMB again, this time around choose a school like uniben that offers pharmacy. But if you're already in say 300level, I'll advise that you finish biochem and then apply for direct entry into pharmacy. You'll enjoy pharmacy but you seriously need to work hard! I wish you the very best of luck. |
Delta men are damn too randy! |
Kimzylove:No...unless you drop your WhatsApp number so I can get to you via WhatsApp |
Kimzylove:My pm ain't working, why not state the issue here or go to a thread in the education section and mention me there. |
Tear the check or return it to the nearest branch of the bank for your own good! Don't try cashing the money otherwise you'll land yourself into trouble |
ebuka10box:Don't mind that guy typing trash about how he made it selling shoe and stuff. If you dig deep now you'll realize he got favoured in one way or the other, but like some guys do, after helping them succeed they start claiming that they did it themselves and how they are "real man" instead of acknowledging those that helped them. Many guys are fund of that and that is why I find it hard helping some guys especially if I discover that the person is the arrogant and ungrateful type. Having said the above, I'll advise you still not to hate your dad but try hard and embarrass him with your success! Dads are meant to push their offsprings especially when they have the wherewithal. Many men work hard to provide succour for their children and give them leverage in this competitive world, but some prefer to spend their money on small girls and alcohol and I'm sorry to say that your dad belongs to that category. However, don't hate him. Rather make do with the support you get from your mum and work hard. At least, when you eventually make it, your dad will not complain that you take better care of your mum than him. He'll be too ashamed to complain anytime you change your mum's car. |
All these incidences of death from sex enhancing drugs would be curtailed if government puts strict rules on the sales of drugs generally! Some of the men that use aphrodisiacs for sex don't even need them in the first place but due to ignorance they go on using all whatnot. If things are done properly in this country, men that truly need such drugs would go to pharmacies with prescriptions from their urologists who must have examined them properly to ascertain their state of health. They'll be counseled and monitored by the pharmacists giving them the drugs. That way, we won't be reading news like this on daily basis. But what we have are ignorant leaders and public who think that Orthodox drugs are like their traditional herbs that they use anyhow. If our governments were well informed about the dangers of indiscriminate use of drugs, they wouldn't hesitate to put laws in place to ensure that untrained people don't sell drugs and that nobody gets drugs without doctor's prescription. |
Lmao This reporter is savagery personified!!! Dangling like a suicide rope!!!!!! |
Omar09:It is the duty of the wife to make herself sexy and appealing to the man. Some ladies just lose their attractiveness once they're married and give birth. What else would a lady be doing in marriage if she can't at least be on top of her sex game Worse of all if she is not working and shouldering some financial responsibilities in her home. What is she doing that would stop her from taking care of her body and making her matrimonial bed alluring to the husband? Must the man do everything ![]() |
My fellow Igbos on this forum and anywhere else should stop giving attention to the so called Anioma people! If they say they're not Igbo, fine and good. After all, what benefit do they serve to the great Igbo nation However, a child who refused to suckle his mother's breast being offered to him should not deny the fact that the mother offered him breast! |
NELLY1990:You're really wise ma'am! The easiest way a lady can win my heart forever is to love my siblings and mum! In fact, I'll go extra miles to make such a lady the happiest wife on earth. I have come a long way with my family. We've been through thick and thin, cried and laughed together for a very long time. No woman can restrain my lovely people from coming to my house. I'll try to emphasize that fact to any lady I'll be getting married to. |
kokomilala:Don't use what you see in p0rn movies as a yardstick. Those people are trained and sometimes the actions are exaggerated! Mind you, I'm not implying that one round of sex is bad for a normal man of any age. I mean prolonged sex or what people call "Marathon" sex |
kokomilala:Age has a lot to do with it. The working of the heart of a younger person is not same as that of an older person especially during physical activities like sex. Old age comes with more wear and tears on the heart and blood vessels generally. Except if the person has trained his heart overtime via exercise like perhaps in your own case. |
kokomilala:Even without being hypertensive, prolonged sex is not good especially for people who're above 35years old and who are also not athletic. |
kokomilala:The man in question was hypertensive and at the same time he was combining antihypertensive drugs with Viagra! The combination of drugs he was using was capable of causing the heart to pack up especially during prolonged sexual activities or other exercises that exert pressure on the heart. Many people have died in this country from use of sex enhancing drugs. |
