In saner climes, drugs like this are not sold in pharmacies like that. You'll need to register with your national ID card before it is dispensed to you. It is also the duty of the pharmacy to send your ID to the local police office so that they can monitor usage.
And who told you they buy such drugs from pharmacies?? They buy from patent medicine stores not pharmacies! Most pharmacies would demand for prescription before they dispense such drugs.
I used to buy tramadol before and each time I try buying from pharmacies, they would start asking for doctor's prescription, so I got the drug from patent medicine stores then.

You are just like the others who didn't read what I said and jumped into attacking me.

I said we need
1. TO GET RID OF RACISM
2. EQUAL AND QUALITY EDUCATION FOR ALL GENDERS,

IF WE ACHIEVE THE ABOVE WE WONT NEED FEMINISM.

My parents and grandparents never grew up when there was feminism, but one was a doctor, a nurse, a teacher. All of them were empowered without feminism and with the men that you paint to be monsters .

Feminism has always advanced white women and never African ( Black )women. African still face discrimination from the same White feminists in pursuit of their white agenda.
Perhaps your grandparents were enlightened enough. Mine weren't so enlightened, hence they considered it a waste of resources sending my mom to school since her education would end in a man's kitchen. Unfortunately, non of her male siblings that were allowed to go to school then made progress in education.

Racism is a different thing from feminism, and even among us blacks we still discriminate against one another on the bases of nationality, tribes, religion etc.
Even here in Nigeria, tribalism, regionalism and statism exist amongst us. Do you know that even in some states in Nigeria, some people are still classed as "slaves" while others are considered "freeborn"huh
Even the racism against blacks by the whites is a child's play compared to the level of discrimination amongst us. You say that whites discriminate against us yet many blacks are living freely, working and even aspiring to leadership positions in white man's lands. In my state in Nigeria, some people are considered as "Osu" and are not allowed to hold leadership positions. Guess the whites should also be blamed for that?

So, let's not mix feminism with racism. If we want to tackle racism let's start from ourselves!

So many. If you don't know your role in the home, probably you need to go ask your parents.

I give life ( carry pregnancy), nurturer( cook, clean etc) , teacher( discipline etc ) and so many other roles that my husband sometimes choose to have me take. E.g. My opinion mattered more than his when we were looking for a house to move into. He felt that way.
All these things don't make me less intelligent.

My husband is a provider, guider, gives family direction, protector and does all duties that requires extreme physical activities. I ain't mowing no lawn when he is my husband.

As I said before some of our African men give us more out of probably love and respect.

Out of the home, I normally get the same respect from most men. They normally afford me certain privileges without even asking.
You're just enjoying the products of feminism! If not for enlightenment campaigns of the feminists, your husband and those other men outside would probably still consider you as some inferior being that deserve no respect for being a female as was before. You probably wouldn't have been able to attain the level of education you have today.

Feminism doesn't say you should do physically demanding jobs if you don't have the strength. You may not have the strength to do them, but another woman out there might be strong enough to do such. Why stop her on the grounds of gender and not based on her incapability?? Those are some of the questions feminism seeks to address.

In my honest opinion, I think the world would be a better place if women are allowed to realize their full potentials without any gender discriminations. That is what feminism stands for and I support the movement.

Feminism and racism are different and shouldn't be mixed up.

But why do you guys go up in arms at the slightest mention of feminism?? Me I find it hard to understand because I think feminism is something we should all encourage. Don't you all have sisters and daughter's that you love? Would you be happy having your sisters and daughters denied their rights to equal opportunities as their male counterparts just to massage your egos?? I don't get...

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew it's because of girls like this that men feel it's our duty to contribute to the growth of the family not forgetting that we're women and they are meant to look after us our needs and everything thing sad
My only problem is that your type usually ends up getting roped into the same boat with ladies who had genuine reasons why they are single in their 40s. This makes it hard for eligible men to identify ladies who really ought to be married from those who should have no business getting married.

The truth is that it should rather be the other way round because women are better financial managers most times (I mean real ladies o, not slay queens).

Very lame comeback attempt with the usual incoherent ranting.. You re obviously suffering from acute selective amnesia, u conveniently forgot that ur so called miracle is a cheap gigolo and a male prostitute that lives off women.. A jerk and a furrk boy that's got nothing to offer, except his looks and his toothpick legs.. Whose got no iota of shame in him, furrking his mother's age mate .The pix I posted of him spoke volumes.
Besides, grapevine has it authoritatively, that he swings both ways.. With a distorted sex history.. Good riddance to very bad rubbish.
That being said, a lot of those ex housemates had relationships b4 going into the house. Nina was the only sincere one among the lot that owned up to being in a relationship, even the so called miracle was in serious relationship with sugar mummy Juliet ,he gave himself away on vals day, specially wishing only her happy vals day .
The focal point here is she has really evolved from the Nina we saw in the house... Moved on to greener pastures.. A brand ,a brand influencer and a biz mogul ..
To paraphrase it, money is chasing her now not the likes of forrk toy boys like miracle.. So oya choke on ur hate
Doesn't change the fact that Nina is a prostitute who got used and dumped by Miracle. And that she's pained to the marrows by the way she got dumped like a piece of trash. No amount of money and endorsements can change that fact.

Biittches that can't take what they dish out to guys every day. She so eagerly dumped her loyal boyfriend not knowing that karma would knock on her door so soon.

You guys are just too slow on the uptake of things with ur parochial chauvinistic misogynistic mindset..
Today's woman's priority is her pursuit of success and dreams..ie Linda Ikeji, Genevieve and several others ...No man is worth that emotional rollercoaster as long as u know urself worth.
Like Lady Gaga once said, "Some women choose to follow men, while some choose to follow their dreams. If u are wondering which way to go, remember that ur career will not wake up and tell u that, it doesn't love u anymore " To today's woman, that sums up everything.. You can do everything for a man but if one day, he randomly wakes up and says he doesn't love u anymore. It's done..
I don't believe anyone should put their destiny in the hands of another human being, as human beings are emotional beings and emotions are fleeting. Love today can turn to hate tomorrow ..
And the said miracle wasn't even worth that emotional rollercoaster, a gigolo toy boy whose got a sugar mummy, Aunty Juliet, who lives in vgc with her children .Himself and his family predominantly live off that woman.. ..Meanwhile, they are presently vacating together
If you call miracle gigolo, what then is Nina?? A cheap slutt who got publicly fucckked and dumped! A prostitute whose "career" is fuccking from left, right and center! Who is more honorable between Nina and Miracle?? Miracle of course! So, Nina is nothing but a whhore who doesn't even deserve any man with an iota of honour in him.

You seem to forget that this same Nina dumped a loyal boyfriend who stood by her when she wasn't known. That singular act speaks volume of the kind of bitttch she is.

So invariably, karma brings several juicy endorsements and success.. This karma must be a blessing indesguise
A flourishing business empire , a degree, an acting career, a house in Lekki and a car at her age (22yrs)

Suffice it to say, she has changed the definition of karma

Nina forbes
Nina Brand
Nina hair empire
Nina collection empire
Nina cosmetics
Nina entrepreneur
Nina nollywood star
Nina money

Isn't this the sweetest karma ever? grin
All those things don't change the fact that she was dropped like a piece of thrash by Miracle for dumping and disgracing Collins. Material fulfilments are quite different from emotional one.

Health › Re: Why Many Nigerians Die Early by Jman06(m): 10:30am On Sep 01, 2018
You missed out the major factor which is failure of government!

Government ought to regulate every sector of the economy but they have failed woefully! For instance, how do people get medications they self-medicate on? Through drug vendors! Other countries strictly regulate their drug markets but Nigeria is a different kettle of fish where just anybody can wake up one day and start selling drugs.

Do you also know the number of Nigerians that die from road accidents on daily basis?? That is also due to failure by government to regulate the road transport sector and to maintain our roads to ensure they are motorable.

Even our healthcare sector needs to be well regulated! Many people die in our hospitals due to errors from the medical doctors most of whom claim to know it all even in areas where other professionals would have handled better.

So, the whole thing boils down to failure of government!

If government wants to improve life expectancy in Nigeria, then they should empower all the government agencies involved in regulating those sectors that have direct impact on life. They can do this by not only providing funds but also make necessary laws to punish defaulters. They should stop playing politics with people's lives, period!

Orji Kalu is the hardest working non-candidate I know.

I find the fact that he is at contesting for any office weird because he does more than a lot of those who are contesting. He is laying the ground work for when he eventually contests and he might be impossible to stop then.

He should be a lesson to people who think politics is an 8 month thing.

This guy has been putting in work for almost 24 months now, that is work ethics and dedication.

side-bar: The PDP should worry more about APC making inroads into their strongholds. These will bite the PDP in 2019
Stop getting excited yet until election result is out.

99% of those you see in that crowd are there just for the change they'll get for that day. It'll not make them vote for APC in 2019.

Even from final year, pharmacists start working as locum pharmacist. Then after internship, they are in high demand. They start earning a 6 digits salary right from internship. Pay is regulated by PCN.

Above all, the greatest satisfaction is in knowing that you have a specific role you play in the society. I mean, patients come to you and you are able to give them something that cures their ailment or guide them on how to use their medications to get the desired therapeutic effects. That is better than studying a course you'll end up roaming about and trying to claim other people's profession because you were deceived while in school that "you can work anywhere".

I don't know why most people commenting didn't bother to read the story well but just open their loud mouths blaming the doctors and nurses. This is simply a case of fake or adulterated medication administered to the patient by the Anaesthetist (Doctor) who clearly doesn't know he was giving a medication that is faked. How the hell can a sane person blame the doctor? It is clearly a fallout of the societal rot in this nation whereby human lives no longer matter so long as money is concerned hence illicit drug manufacturers can afford to produce cheap adulterated drugs and sell to vulnerable people.
You also failed to read where the post said that the MD of the hospital prefers buying drugs from charlatans at idumota. I'm sure if the hospital had a functional pharmacy with qualified pharmacists to handle drugs procurements, they would get the right drugs from the right sources.

This is the unfortunate situation of things in Nigeria. Many people have been sent to their early graves by our incompetent medical doctors and the government is not doing anything about it.

DRUGS ARE DANGEROUS AS MUCH AS THEY ARE THERAPEUTIC. ONLY IN BACKWARD COUNTRIES LIKE NIGERIA DO THE GOVERNMENTS WATCH AS CHARLATANS SELL DRUGS IN BLACK MARKET WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
EVEN MEDICAL DOCTORS WHO OUGHT TO KNOW BETTER DON'T DO ANYTHING TO STOP THE FLAGRANT SELL OF UNWHOLESOME DRUGS BY THESE CHARLATANS IN OPEN DRUG MARKET, RATHER THEY SUPPORT AND PATRONIZE THEM.
AT THE END THE POOR PATIENTS ARE MADE TO SUFFER. MANY DIE UNTIMELY DEATHS WHILE OTHERS GET PARALYZED.

CLOSE ALL OPEN DRUG MARKETS TODAY AND WATCH AS OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IMPROVES.
