Your child's high school will depend on where you live so if you are yet to land, you can decide that your order of sorting things out will be to find a school you're comfortable with first and then ensure you rent within the school boundaries. Note though that one ranking can't tell you all you need to know. If you have a shortlist of schools, you can also read online reviews - 'google' or 'rate my teacher'.

Since you don't know your visa office and you are based outside of Canada, I think you can choose "processed from an office outside Canada".

I'm not sure the choice is material anyways. If you choose wrong, I believe they will forward your message to the appropriate office.

That's the thing about Indians. They do share their refusal stories and others learn.

But, naija lailai, everybody locks up. The reason we are not hearing from people with AVO may not just be the delay in processing. It may also be that after interviews, applications are refused. But without sharing the knowledge, how can others learn?

What always strikes me is the number of Nigerians challenging CIC's decisions in court. We do wrong things and then still go to court. We are over-represented in the court cases. You don't see the nationalities of the top immigrant countries like China or Philipines that represented.

If you only had School Cert, I seriously doubt it.

Also I read that unaccompanying spouse needs to undergo medicals as well, can ds be done at different times at same or different centers since we are not together always and spouse cd be in any part of the country..?

If after you fill in the details, the EE system asks you to upload change of name, yes. But since the name is not part of the main documents you are uploading, you may not bother if not asked.

So I need to upload an affidavit and newspaper publications? Or do I forgo it since all my certificates aside my birth certificate bear my new name?

2. In filing the application, there is a question " Has this person ever used any name? I changed my name many years ago but the name change did not reflect on any of my certificates from secondary school only my birth certificate and primary school certificate?

Is it practical?

I am not sure you can add a new IELTS test after AOR for someone you did not fill for earlier (with non accompanying, you can't). I think your crs score will be re-calculated based on only the information submitted earlier and that will make your score drop.

Secondly, now my spouse had previously evaluated his pgd from a uk university with wes...it returned as pgd (one semester). At the time it didn't matter to us as we had enough points but as situation has changed now, would it be a good idea to try to evaluate it with ICES?

If you leave very early, you should get Obalende/CMS straight, otherwise,
1. Bus to Oshodi.
2. Bus to Obalende/CMS
3. Bus to VI - Eko hotels (there might be another faster route).
4. From there use this (Access Ajose Adeogun from Eko Hotel round about, make a second right turn onto Younis Bashorun (by Haliburton after Zenith Bank HQ) then a second left unto Sinari Daranijo. Prince Ade Odedina is the first street on the right. We are at 155A Prince Ade Odedina Street). You might need a bike. Not sure about the trekkability.

The high score seems due to the long delay. Monday - Pubic holiday, Tuesday and Wednesday - technical issues.

If they go back to Monday draws, I believe it should come down.

I think you can. After ITA, you have 60 days to apply. Before then, she must have gathered all the required docs.

The confusion comes from the help guide during eAPR. It seems to be generic and is applicable for all kinds of visas and work permits.

You are only required to upload "A clear and legible copy of the biographical data page of a passport or travel document must be provided."
However, you will not be penalized for submitting all the stamps and old passports.

Agreed. How can one document old expired international passport with stamps ?....If the first page is my current bio data on my international passport, should one type all travel history with visa types with old international passport number beside them on the second page ?

@Sthill5, whatever you do, make sure the datapage of your current passport is the first page.
