Sorry my bro, this is not up for debate. A mass majority of Yorubas have been held back and are suffering under this torn umbrella you refer to as Nigeria. Igboho nor myself does not need to convince anyone with superior arguments. The people who fall under this camp of one Nigeria are people benefitting illicitly from one Nigeria and no amount of superior arguments can convince such folks. Another set of foolishly patriotic Nigerians are people who clearly do not understand their history therefore they do not understand the present and what the future holds for the Yorubas within this geographical space often referred to as Nigeria. No amount of debate can convince these two sets of people to see otherwise. I do not expect us all to be on the same page, the gift of vision is not given to all. Overall, what is in the best interest of all Yorubas is what must prevail. Badorey6: |
Hi guys, after payment on GTBank Mobile App for visa appointment online and a receipt is generated, what is the receipt number to be used for finalising interview booking, is it the entire reference number, some of it or some other number, kindly help, thanks. |
Is there anyone on the platform that assists with SEVIS fee payment, very kindly help out. Thanks. |
This guy needs to shut the fc_uk up and move on abeg. I salute his achievement but this braggado talk is just childish. You are not the only one to ever win a grammy, you may be the first Nigerian but there will be many. No idea is original, there's nothing new under the sun. His winning a grammy this year is not only as a result of his hardwork, it is as a result of the foundation that has been laid out over the years, dating back to previous other Nigerian artistes. One tree never makes a forest, Burnaboy needs to fall back and enjoy his time in the limelight while he he is here but he should also remember that nothing in this world lasts forever. |
When the Oil money stops flowing, let's see how you guys will be able to maintain these. |
Some villagers around us sold 200 acres of land to that Fulani man. So the task force discovered it was that Fulani man that freed his cows to graze on other people’s farms. But with 200 acres of land, how can you tell me there is nothing for those cows to eat, so that they had to come outside to destroy people’s farms? Of course, it was just sheer wickedness. So, after that invasion, the affected farmers went to confront this Fulani man and told him to build a ranch for his cows on his land or they would kill his cows but the man did not listen. The second day, villagers chased the herdsmen out of our village and we were happy, thanking God that that would be the end. But we were wrong. It turned out it was only a prelude to another horror. I laugh at some myopic fools who think ranching in the South is the solution to this unmitigated disaster waiting to happen. The Hausa-Fulani elite are only interested in one thing and one thing alone: total domination of all of Nigeria. And they have the backing of the British and by extension the Americans. No one is coming to save us, we must save our ourselves. The earlier everyone, especially my people the Yorubas, get that into their heads and start defending themselves rather than wait for instructions from useless leaders who have zero to lose, the better all of this will turn out to be. Like the insecurities of the North East, the killer marauder fulani crisis is not going anywhere, it is either we fight them or shut up and swallow whatever happens. Events unfolding has shown what the Yorubas are made of and I can say it has clearly been a comedy show from all involved. Overall, it saddens me to say that if we do not get off our collective high horses and work together for the common benefit of our people (something we are clearly not good at especially with this current crop of so-called Yoruba leaders), the events that are yet to come will further weaken and destroy everything we hold dear that we call our own. |
Traitor Alert!!! They don't even hide it anymore. Anyway, these Yoruba kings are only saying out loud what we have always know all along. They are a bunch of treacherous coward scum not fit to be called human beings. These are people who will blow wherever the wind goes, they have no sense of direction or urgency. A bloody lunatic fit for an insane asylum showing how detached from reality he is. I am not surprised. Yoruba people must start looking anyway from these useless rulers, our priorities are not their priorities. If we fail to heed these warnings, it may spell the end of us as a people. It has happened before, read your history well, it can happen again and the entire world will turn a blind eye. |
Sorry to announce, there will be no negotiating anyone's way out of this. Stop this wishful thinking, it is not helpful. The splintering of this country will happen and it will be a bloody one, let everyone go and be prepared. It is very clear that the Hausa-Fulani elite do not wish to negotiate, they wish to continue to rule to the detriment of everyone else. It is also clear that they have the approval of the British and by extension, the Americans. As it stands, restructuring is not even an option anymore, we missed the window of opportunity to get that done. Splitting this country is the only option and the better prepared everyone is, the less bloody I guess the outcome maybe. You must learn that you negotiate from a position of strength not of weakness, Southern Nigerians needs to arm up and be prepared to lay down their lives for their lands. Otherwise, all you will see is same of same. Built2last: |
All this blowing of hot air, if PPP can truly help us bridge the infrastructure deficit, how come it is failing badly in a state such as Lagos that has embraced PPP wholeheartedly. The Lekki-Epe expressway is an example of PPP that has since been abandoned yet tolls are continually being collected. The fact is PPP is just another way for the Nigerian Government to shift its responsibilities and rape Nigerians in the process. No one and I mean it, no private company both within and outside of the country wants to invest in our infrastructure mainly due to uncertainty in the political environment, insecurity and sky high initial investment costs (which often go by way of bribes and embezzlement before the actual project is completed). Pastor Prof should please spare us abeg, talking for talking sake without addressing the root cause of why issues persist is not the solution to our problems in the 21st century. |
What Chief Sunday Igboho is saying is what should be coming out of the months of all Yoruba elders and leaders - traditional, religious and political. Unfortunately, we now know that the priorities of the Yoruba leadership is to continue to enslave the Yoruba people in so far as it means keeping the peace with the Hausa-Fulani for the continued existence of this joke of a country called Nigge_r area a.k.a Nigeria. |
I think the christian community needs to choose its battles sensibly otherwise it risks alienating everyone else and looking plain stupid. these schools although originally founded by missionaries were handed over to and receive funding from the state government. hence the government sets the rules regarding these things. Also the rule applies to girls of muslim faith, NOT GIRLS OF ALL FAITH. How the hell is this even an issue of all the issues we have in this country and in that state? |
In my view, I do not know why non-muslims and non-adherents to this Sharia BS are still living in these states. Move away from these states, take your businesses and the revenue it generates with you, setup shop elsewhere and leave these states to wallow in their stupidity. Such states with stupid laws cannot and will not attract any reasonable form of investment compared to other places where there is liberty and freedom. Religion is and should be a personal thing, history has shown that whenever religion and state are merged into one, it is chaotic. |
No doubt he has mental health challenges. |
The same cultists you politicians encouraged and made cultists. And to add ontop of that, all of you politicians are cultists. The irony of this, but then people never learn. |
For now. Until the people who have access to Aso Rock make a couple calls and begin to flout the process. |
Rest in peace Legend!!! |
If anyone of you have read the books "48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene" and "The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli" then you will understand perfectly who Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu really is. |
It is just like saying fire feels hot or water is wet. Anyone with half a brain knows this all along. |
I totally disagree with both your premise and your conclusion. If we must fight for sovereignty and independence of Southern Nigeria, it should not be on the altar of Tinubu's (and by extension his minions) failed attempt at becoming President of this moribund republic. Going by your logic, if Buhari does come around to support Tinubu, then it is all well and good for another 8 years but as Buhari is showing his true colours we should agitate for Oduduwa and Biafra? Fcu_k that shyte. We must demand for independent countries away from this joke of a country because it is the only way to separate the wheat from the chaff and to ensure the continued existence and success of our people. We must demand for our own countries because we know what we can be and where we would be if not for that bastard Lord Lugard and his local collaborators in the North. When the time comes, and I am certain it is coming very soon, men such as Tinubu (democrat indeed) ought to get on their planes and jet to wherever we know that they will run to. Tinubu has always been a slave to money and power and has consistently attempted to sellout the entire Yoruba race. That he has failed in his latest attempt does not mean I as a Yorubaman will have any sympathies for him. The time is coming and it is almost upon us all and I assure you it will be very ugly however make no mistake about it, we will not be fighting Tinubu's (or men like him) war, rather it will be a war that we should have fought along side the Igbos in the 60s to correct this madness that we are now witnessing today all in the name of One Useless Nigeria! zanshi: |
I am not too fazed by the news because they are still making plans. Whatever happens after this, one thing is certain, APC is dead for another 8 years in Ekiti State. Fayemi will not have legs to stand upon after this. He should keep it up and continue to please his Fulani masters in a bid to win their hearts over for a Vice Presidential ticket with El Rufai or whomever. His career as a politician in Ekiti or Southwest Nigeria is finished with this latest move (assuming he is so dastardly and devilish to see it through). A move this unpopular will have surely have repercussions. Ekiti people and by extension Yoruba people know who the sellouts are and they see through this Bullshyte. From the Vice President down to this useless person called Fayemi, they should all keep it up, power is very transient and nothing lasts forever. Awon oloriburuku omo ale iran diran jati jati. |
We tried it and we failed woefully at it. Look restructuring is the option you have when leaders are sincere and are willing to address the issues on ground through honest dialogue and transparent policy making. Splitting is the option you have when everyone has been forced to take up arms and it no longer becomes a dialogue, but a winner takes it all scenario. These leaders that are not interested in ordinary Police reform are the same ones you expect to reform the entire country? The rate at which we are going, restructuring is no longer an option, splitting the country may well be the only option left. Jerryherd: |
I know he laughs inside when he says these things. |
Ship of Lagos is heading in no direction or more like Ship of Lagos heading in the direction Tinubu wants. |
Nigeria's so-called unity is very negotiable and very soon you and your ilk shall receive the much needed rude awakening. |
Hehehehehehehehehe, after you let them in, hehehehehehehehe. |
You mean the dollars inside coffin, hoodlums did not take it,.irun mole (spirits) took it. If you want your money back, go and ask them afterall you kept the money in the coffin for them. |
And you are saying it aloud ![]() |

Please let me get one thing across to you, Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba, Kogi and Benue farmers do not have any issues selling to the South. Last I checked, the Hausa-Fulani are not the dominant tribes in the aforementioned areas neither are they the farmers in these areas although they might be the traders who buy from these areas are sell to the South. A clear distinction needs to be made from within the so-called North. I am not saying there are no Hausa-Fulani farmers in the North however when you extract these areas I mentioned who have no issues whatsoever selling to the South then you get the clear picture. Therefore it may be important to redefine the value chain, individuals and companies alike that are based down South simply have to make and sign direct deals with local farmers in the above areas and transport the produce down South. And if they must let them get armed escorts. The progressive North needsto ddissociate itself from the regressive North. As for beef and milk, I am certain we will do just fine. This is a blessing in disguise really and I am more than happy. Less herdsmen means more security and more investment in agriculture going forward. We will come out of this stronger and wiser, I hope. Godarz: |
If it is document, we have enough of that already. What we lack is the backbone from regulatory bodies and those in government. Unfortunately these people have been bought and paid for hence I do not honestly see things getting any better any time soon. I was having this same conversation with someone here on nairaland who insisted that dangote's refinery would help Nigeria's economy and its ailing currency. Last I checked, dangote was a capitalist to the core. He is in business to help himself and himself alone as evidenced by how he runs his business empire. Based on precedence, nothing indicates he will become an overnight socialist and a patriot that wishes to help the country as much as himself. Men like dangote exist to help themselves the country be damned. A man who is rumoured to have single handedly wrecked the former Nigerian Railway Corporation can never be seen as to have good intentions for Nigeria as a country. festacman: |
