Come 2011 we supported Gej and even clamour for him to take over while yaradua was on sick bed, ibos connive with Gej and made it look like we were not part of the project and Gej marginalized the SW.

This is the time ibos should support anybody from SW to have our trust again and send a strong signal to the north that we have each other's back

So after Igbos voted Obasanjo twice and the SW had their 8 years, you want the same Igbos that have not had the Presidency, to come and support Tinubu to have another 4 or 8 years for the SW again? Does that sound fair to you? Rather than Igbos to help Yorubas get a 3rd term, when they have already had 8 years, power should stay in the North.

As much as what the woman did by trying to steal from the Church is bad, Im flabagasted that a Catholic Priest can resort to jungle justice by attacking the woman.

This is not the Catholic way of doing things. Im even more ashamed of the Catholic Priest than the woman. Even people had to restrain him from really harming the woman.

I really hope the Catholic Church will sanction the Priest to remind others that priests of the Catholic Church should be above jungle justice

I have nothing against my fellow Igbo emerging president in 2023 but I do not believe it is possible, they hate us too much to trust us with power, they will never vote for us. What annoys me however is when I see other Nigerians telling Igbos to "build bridges" with other zones. Some foolish ones even go as far as saying that Biafra, IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu have burnt all the bridges for Igbos. Let me remind the foolish people who talk this way with two examples

1)In the 90's and early 2000's, Oodua Peoples Congres(OPC) was an armed group that wrecked havoc all over the Western Region, particularly Lagos. Many Igbos had to flee for their lives back to the East due to the violence OPC brought on Nigeria. I personally witnessed OPC kill people. Despite this, Nigerians elected a Yoruba man called Obasanjo in 1999 and re-elected him 2003.

2) Since at least 2014, armed Fulani herdsmen have been killing thousands of Nigerians each year, destroying farm lands, raping women. This did not prevent a Fulani man like Buhari being elected President in 2015 and re-elected in 2019.

So when OPC Yoruba youths and Fulani Herdsmen were killing people, you all forgot the bridge and elected people affiliated to their ethnic stock? But when it comes to 2023 and Igbos, you all will remember Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu and the bridge?



IPOB is an unarmed group that has not even done 1% of what OPC and killer herdsmen have done in the past, and has no proven record of having killed anyone.

So my fellow Igbos, when they ask you to "build bridges", please ask them which bridge was existing when OPC Yoruba youths and Fulani killer herdsmen were killing people, but it did not prevent a Yoruba or Fulani man from getting elected into office.

They only remember the "bridge" when it is Igbos!

Prior to 2019 election, I counted three different people, one of them, Boss Mustapha, the SGF, made three trips and reiterated same statement each time that, "If Igbo support Buhari 2019 he will handover to them in 2023". They refused. Ohanaeze said Buhari does not own Nigeria and cannot set condition for them to become President. They supported his opponent, Atiku.

Now its clear to Ibo they do need Buhari for 2023, all kind of belated rubbish is now being thrown out. Its late! This press statement should have happened 2018/2019, not in 2020.

If Buhari is the one who will dictate who his successor will be, then it is no longer democracy we are practising

What is wrong with PDP fielding an Igbo presidential candidate in 2023?

What would be the point of PDP fielding an Igbo presidential candidate if it results in a landslide win for APC in 2023? There are power blocs in Nigeria, particularly in the North and West that are not comfortable with an Igbo man being president and will never vote for an Igbo man.

The only way an Igbo man can become President is if all the major political parties in Nigeria zone their presidency to the South East and I do not see that happening. Thats how a Yoruba man emerged president in 1999 when all the parties chose Yorubas as their candidates.

An Atiku Presidency will almost guarantee the South East the vice presidency and thats better than nothing

Lets just assume that IPOB were going to some native Doctor to get some sort of spiritual power against bullets so they can go about snatching guns. Arresting them when they were going to the native Doctor is a gross violation of their human rights because they are being arrested for a crime they are yet to commit. It is not against the law to go to a native Doctor for whatever reason. The security forces can only arrest a person who has commited a crime, or is in the process of committing a crime. There is no such thing as arresting a person for a crime they might commit in the future, such charge cannot be taken to court.

Im sure what happend was that a group of people with Biafran flags were going somewhere and they were rounded up and the silly charges of unlawful assembly and going to get spiritual powers that would enable them snatch weapons were concocted to hide their illegal arrest.
