RomanceRe: Should Married Women Go Clubbing? by Konjour(m): 11:26am On Sep 18, 2010
^^^Well,we all know club modes vary as much as cultural backgrounds to various genres of music, but i still believe what obtains in 'hippie' nightclubs in Nigeria can easily give an average married man second thoughts about permitting his beloved wife to frequent 'em alone, albeit in the name of freedom, gender equality.etc.
RomanceRe: Should Married Women Go Clubbing? by Konjour(m): 10:48am On Sep 18, 2010
Everyone to his/her own. PERSONALLY,i wont condone my woman visitin' an 'hippie' nightclub alone without my presence, cuz i wont do such too without HER presence, i dont really give a flippin' piece of horseshit about folly-induced ''civilized'' activities, morever she'd have known more than enough about me before settling down with me. The average nigerian nightclub,i heard,is like a 'kill or get killed hotspot'. If she thinks that marraige is a prison cuz of the curbin' of some of her activities as a sign of respect and honour to her hubby, she a'int gonna last on my team before getting substituted.  Sometime ago,i heard about an American celeb couple who mutually chose to sleep with different partners cuz they were bored, i'd bet anythin' in the world Nigerians would start copying start that very soon, too. IF YOU CAN'T DECIPHER THE WHEAT OF CIVILISATION FROM ITS CHAFF,YOU'RE JUST ONE AMONG THE MILLIONS OF THE DEAD MEN WALKING ABOUT ON EARTH. cool
RomanceRe: Blackberry Swag by Konjour(m): 9:56am On Jun 26, 2010
Blackberry? Thought that it should be regarded as a slightly old-fashioned mobile now. I dont see the extraordinary fuss that should be generated from it,having used a Storm for the past 22 months. What i see about all this is the arrogant mentality some people procure when they see their fellas with Huawei 1st generation handsets, while they use 3rd and 4th generation notebooks. Its all the product of a negative mindset. It goes beyond the phone, and jilting a guy cuz of his mobile, duh, that's so outrageous! shocked
SportsRe: Algerian Player Slaps Woman In Public After Usa Match. by Konjour(m): 9:32am On Jun 26, 2010
So,after she's retaliated, what's she filing a suit for then? To sue him for damages? especially when 'her nail caught his lip'. what a dumbie. undecided
CareerRe: Highest Paid Professionals And Most Lucrative Profession In Nigeria by Konjour(m): 2:43pm On Jun 10, 2010
A merchant mariner is easily one of the highest paid professionals in the world, and not just Nigeria. The mega millions never stop rolling in until they die.  cool cool

PhonesRe: Etisalat's New Data Plan (For Browsing) by Konjour(m): 4:46pm On Jun 05, 2010
1,000 Naira for 100mb? undecided I get 1 Gigabyte for 98 Rupees on my Blackberry(with Airtel)which is valid for 30 days, that equates to just about 450 naira, upload speed is about 30kbps.and the download speed which is supposed to be 3.1Mbps,is actually 45kbps. Also heard that there are plans to move Airtel's networks to Nigeria, prolly before the end of this year. Nigerians 'd definitely prefer their data plans to any of the ones currently operating in Naija now. Superb service delivery.
RomanceRe: Guys Which Would You Marry-a Single Mother Or A Serial Abortion(ists) by Konjour(m): 8:16pm On Jun 03, 2010
omega25red:
so you mean you wouldn't bang either one with the posters d ick? grin
grin grin either way,i meant exactly what i wrote, both women share the same definition in my lexis. wink
RomanceRe: Guys Which Would You Marry-a Single Mother Or A Serial Abortion(ists) by Konjour(m): 7:58pm On Jun 03, 2010
This ain't hard for me,though, i ain't gonna touch either of 'em with a hundred feet pole. cool
RomanceRe: Men Are Wicked by Konjour(m): 5:58pm On Jun 03, 2010

RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Is Neglecting Me For Marine Engineering Studies! by Konjour(m): 11:09am On Jun 03, 2010
@Poster, yeah,it's really worth the stress,i'm a Navigator and i'd say all you gotta do is assist him with your prayers and goodwill, and hope he doesn't forget about you when the dollar bills start rolling in. You'll love it when the trees'll bear fruit. Off-topic,do you know which maritime university he's coming to in the UK?
RomanceRe: Ladies: Would You Kneel Down For Your Partner? by Konjour(m): 10:24am On Jun 03, 2010
And who frigging dictates it that i have to kneel down to propose to any lady or woman/or prostrate to win someone's favourhuh too bad i ain't trippin' that a lil' bit.  undecided   cool
FamilyRe: Who Will You Stand For Your Spouse Or Your Mum When They Clash? by Konjour(m): 5:14pm On Jun 01, 2010
when they clashhuh why should i take sides? rather,i'd seperate both of 'em,then dialogue solves it from there. wink
RomanceRe: Why Do You Guys Feel Intimidated By A Secured Woman? by Konjour(m): 2:27pm On Jun 01, 2010
Too bad i haven't seen one lady/woman 'secured' enough to make dab at my eyelids, needless talking about intimidation, and i'm sure there are hordes of guys whose acts are similar to mine, you gotta roll with 'real dudes',and see how the backstory goes. cool
FamilyRe: I Love Her But Should I Break Up With Her? by Konjour(m): 11:18am On May 27, 2010
Well,i dont really think 1.5 million naira is too expensive a sum with which you could celebrate your love life, though in such circumstances as this,it is quite clear that the prospective bride's motives here are money driven, thus,i won't advise the poster to expend a 10 naira note on such a person. The glamour of your marraige shouldn't be about the glitz people see for a couple of hours, rarher,it should be about the blings YOU see in it forever. Good luck wink
RomanceRe: The Psychology In Playing Hard-to-get by Konjour(m): 5:56pm On May 26, 2010
look at funmi iyanda.
tongue
I ain't belittling women cuz a woman gave birth to me,but for every Funmi iyanda,Oprah winfrey or whatever they desire to be termed as,you'd count hundreds of thousands of women on the other side of the divide. Morever, nobody here has the proof that claims that both of 'em don't want to start a family of their own, they might have thrown away the chance when it came calling and perhaps given a couple of teddy bears world class acupunctures in one corner of their bedroom when they realised what they had missed, its just natural that humans beings'd wanna have a place they'd call their HOME and not their HOUSE,hence me thinks a woman who claims she'd be happy to die single rather than marry a man of a lesser social standing prolly has some hormonal imbalances,or a couple of psychological challenges.(my personal thoughts, though), Peace. cool
RomanceRe: ***7 Traits That Make Me Go Gaga*** by Konjour(m): 2:10pm On May 26, 2010
onyiilady:
*He takes  good care of himself.
I'm not saying it's a certain height or build that matters. If he keeps his body in relatively good shape this shows me he knows how to take care of himself. It also clues me in that he sets health as a priority.

* He Is Affectionate/Romantic. Though I  try not to let on, affection  lights me up like fireflies. Consider it his secret weapon especially public displays of affection which makes me proud

*He's intelligent. I like men who are more intelligent than I am. For me, intelligence is sexy. When someone is dumb, it's frustrating and boring, which is enough to drive me away.

*He's so Playful. I can go gaga for fun guys and steer clear of men who seem uptight. A playful attitude shows me he have a sense of humor, and make me  assume that any man who laughs to be a helluva lot more pleasant to break out the boxing gloves with.

*He loves  his mum. Gives me that sense of belonging though he's not  expected  to be a "mommy's boy"

*He's very homely

*He's hardworking
@poster,
though rare, you might be lucky enough to see someone who genuinely has all the attributes you've listed, but you've gotta check yourself thoroughly too to see if you've got a good tag which'll attract such guys to you,cuz if you require JUST 7 traits from 'em, most of such guys are gonna require 21 traits from ya in return. They don't come close to being ''cheap'n easy'' too. Peace. cool
RomanceRe: Guys, Can You Marry A Circumcised Lady? by Konjour(m): 7:37pm On May 25, 2010
who friggin' cares a hoot about what anyone says? i ain't gonna get anywhere close to her doorstep, never mind marraige, cool
RomanceRe: Guys:let's Imagine Life Without Women, by Konjour(m): 7:10pm On May 25, 2010
This ain't no brainer, innit? There would be less crimes,no wars,no emotional hold-ups,no marraige brouhahas,no nagging till sundown,no unneccesary acid baths and lesser suicide notes, infact life'd be simpler, there'd be more food to eat,and more cash to throw around. (just the way i see it,though), opinions may differ.
RomanceRe: 11 Ultimate Rules For Dating A Naija Girl: Revealed! by Konjour(m): 6:33pm On May 25, 2010
I absolutely agree wiv the money, excessive calls, and the 'sorry' part, 'v had a fair share of those. cool

RomanceRe: What Is It With Girls And Tall Guys Anyway! by Konjour(m): 7:54pm On May 24, 2010
This'd have been better if the majority of the womenfolk clamouring for tall guys stood at a good height off the ground themselves, dunno about others, but i ain't gonna bother asking her out if she's less than 5' 8" too.
RomanceRe: What Single Men Hate Most in Ladies? by Konjour(m): 6:51pm On May 17, 2010
I might tolerate much of a lady's shortcomings, but there are some that i won't touch with a 10,000 yard stick:
1. Unusual vocal cords, was at a seminar sometime and one of the guest speakers was a lady, and when she was speakin',the speakers theoretically got torn into shreds cuz of her baritone! undecided
2. Hairy limbs, sweet Lawd,i needn't say more about this!!! lipsrsealed
3. Suicidal body odours RESULTING from bad hygiene, definitely,i wouldn't be comfortable having a lady in whose presence i'd have to breathe using EEBDs(Emergency escape breathing devices), cuz if i do,i dunno what i'm gonna breathe in if i run outta Oxygen supply. ****DEATH***** sad
Nuff said!!! wink
RomanceRe: What The Ladies Unconsciously Do To Evaluate A New Guy by Konjour(m): 2:33pm On May 17, 2010
might not be able to pin-point exactly what they would be thinkin' cuz i can't see through flesh, but the claim that the guy's physique, his accent, his body spray, his carraige and speech eloquence, probably his ride too(if he has one) would be among the very first things a lady would subconsciously(and consciously) check out can't be further from the truth, all other qualities actually come into consideration after this. cool
RomanceRe: The Love Of Rechard Cards by Konjour(m): 3:27pm On Apr 25, 2010
Actually, there's nothin' fussy about a guy rechargin' his girlfriend's phone with some call cards occasionally, but when call card requests becomes dessert everyday, then its gotta be time to hit the road. AND talkin' about a girl askin' for credit cards 48 hours after her first meet with a new guy, Dang!!! That's so pathetic.
CelebritiesRe: Ufoma Marries Oyinbo by Konjour(m): 6:17pm On Apr 20, 2010
over 50,000 couples get married every week globally,so i don't really care a rat's backside about who marries who.
FamilyRe: How Do You Cope With A Jealous Hubby? by Konjour(m): 6:36pm On Apr 18, 2010
what i'm still tryin' to wrap my head around is this: does this mean that if the majority of the replies here are tellin' the poster to ignore her husband, would she had taken to that advicehuh Cuz this 'jealousy's solution is a no-brainer @ all, wtf, bunk forex. angry
CelebritiesRe: Mike Adenuga To Fly In Beyonce For Daughter's Wedding In April by Konjour(m): 11:18am On Apr 12, 2010
I don't give a silly hoot about the presence of another american musician at a socialite's daughter's weddin', such has been happenin' since time immemorable, the weddin' is gonna come and go,can only hope what is gonna come after all the blitz is gonna be worth the effort cuz most rich and famous names dont strike any bells when it comes down to lastin' matrimonies, i wish the couple a lastin' one to shame the records, though. Its normal that this isn't gonna go down well with everybody, but i hope my naija is gonna achieve what we all know she can be,a nation of supremos, in that way, nobody is gonna care a flyin' Zap if you should take 10 banks outta business cuz of your birthday or whatever. May the rich get richer, and the poor get rich. Holla. wink cool
RomanceRe: What If Your Boyfriend's Spoken English Is Really Poor? by Konjour(m): 4:49pm On Apr 10, 2010
Well,if the guy's english was gon' be such a major clog, why was his proposal accepted in the first place? huh,cuz he definitely didn't woo the girl via semophore, though,i'd still say if a girl wants out cuz of that, she should try enrolling the guy in a specialised language class,or better still, she should teach him.i.e if she isn't worse. It'd be dope to dump a good guy cuz of his inability to speak phonetics through his nose. cool
PoliticsRe: What Would Encourage You To Return To Nigeria? by Konjour(m): 7:36pm On Apr 06, 2010
Absolutely nothin', but i'll return because that's my true home. cool
RomanceRe: How To Beat Your Husband Or Man Without Touching Him: by Konjour(m): 5:49pm On Apr 03, 2010
queeneve:
THE WORLD looks at blacks as DAMAGED GOODS,

Good Job jackarses!
@poster;If you've got another meanin' to this sentence, you can kindly clarify that to a non-scholar,cuz i just lost my lexis and i dont know any experienced reader who might help, otherwise and IMHO,that sentence reflects exactly what YOU think you are as a black lady or whatever you are,NO world looks at blacks degradingly today, but some individuals still do,albeit your usage of your lexis is about three tads off the line, so much for a scholar,i'd say. I do know a lot of peeps who'd give anythin' to stay in the sun's heat without turnin' red, also, lol  cool
