Ajoboss:I doubt if he kept 14m at home.... The write up indicated that, it was [b]‘valuables & money’[\b] that made up to that amount...and in most cases, it is mainly valuables. |
Klinee:@Oga mi....I no suspect you sha oh! but I wan ask one small question.... make I ask? okay....talk true, dis one wey you dey yarn na from personal experience? Make you no lie oh, because they say, experience is the best teacher. ![]() |
Childofaking:Agree, The OP is mixing Credit Card with Debit card...but generally, all cards that can be used on an ATM are called ATM cards and credit & debit card fall into that category. The OP talk about withdrawing money with your card or someone stealing your money from your card, when his title is talking about credit card. We all know that in the Nigeria context, you cannot withdraw money from a credit card, this is only available via a debit card. In the western hemisphere a portion of your credit card limit is available as 'cash advance' against which you can make cash withdrawal but at a higher APR with zero grace period. |
Xisnin:That is true, each merchant aka website decides what information they need from the card in other to initiate a transaction....The truth is, the bank is not in the picture here, when a merchant initiate a debit to them on your behalf. You only get OTP when you are interacted directly with the bank site or a compatible vendor. I know this first hand, because am a merchant and accepts credit cards, I program my website backend on what parameter to collect from the individual wanting to make payment e.g. PIN, Address Info, etc and I can also lock out specific IP addresses or geo locations from making any transaction or even decide not to accept the card is the place it is been used is farther from where the card was issued, I can also delay the frequency of use or time interval between use and also max amount and can also decline the card base of fraud score, etc. Sometimes, I lock out legitimate customers and they usually call me and a relax the security momentary so that, they can go through or if they give me the last four digit of their card, I can manually authorize the captured transaction at the backend...usually these transaction stay for three days before falling off. |
pocohantas:That is not my understanding though... She said, they wanted it raw and she disagree and one of them said said one of their friends not there is coming with condoms, but he didn’t show and that was how they wasted her time overnight. She appear to be mad because her time was wasted and as such, she wanted to collect full pay as per opportunity lost for not securing alternate date. The guys on the other hand felt that, since they didn’t visit paradise, they can’t pay full money....she strong sha and also a stroke of luck that she was not raped...I think he met really good guys, who reigned their sexual urges in, throughout the night with a damsel beside them, despite been readiness to shot it raw from the get go. |
Dollyak:He was born and raised in Ijesa, Osun State...what made you think, he can’t be passionate about the place he called home and was raised in? |
JARUSHUB:Is that a typo? I didn’t see FUTA on your list, maybe you meant FUT Minna? |
timesup234:I understand that you might be vexed against the US....I don’t know where you have been or visited in the US to conclude that most of it is like Agege, but all I can admonish you is that, stop visiting the slums in the US or stop reading about them, I have been to many cities in the US and I can honestly tell you that, they are not like Agege. The truth is, the American system have a floor and minimum standard to catches those who fall through the ranks from hitting rock bottom compared to North Korea or Agege that you cited. Though you did not cite any source for your statistics, but if you go back to those statistical sources, they will tell you that majority of those homeless people either escaped from shelter on purpose or are mentally ill or are addicts. There are many welfare programs established to help these people. American is highly leveraged and cashless such that, you can get by without cash. Stop comparing it with cash oriented economies like Nigeria or North Korea. If you understand microeconomics very well, you would have known that cash in your pocket is fiat worthless paper and does not guarantee real powering power in the real economy. This is the very same reason why Chinese labor to save most dime they earn all to borrow them over to the USA in exchange for some stupid FED promissory note, this way the US entrepreneurs will continue funding the Chinese companies, so that these people can have a job, live in hostels, save some more and folk them over to the US entrepreneurs again in form loan facilities and the circle continues endlessly and probably end with the poor Chinese worker with cash in the bank dying poor and his children growing up to replace him at the factory to continue the circle; whereas the entrepreneur in the US with highly leveraged loans and credit facilities is living large and bequeathing wealth to his children. |
The degree of value add from Linkedin is as strong as the network that you have in Linkedin....Go through the people in your network and examine each of them critically and you will discover why you are not getting any value from it. Focus on building quality network within Linkedin, it is link a website SEO. One website might have 20,000 links and will rank lower than another with just 100 links, because of the quality of those links. Linkedin is also a place were you tell your own story and shine light on your accomplishments. |
linearity: Because as the OP stated, taking these pictures is North Korean is against the law and you can go to jail if caught taking some of these pictures...In the other places viz US, UK, Germany, etc you mentioned, it is not illegal and against the law to do these. seunny4lif:Your response is incoherent and misses the point raised in my post as re-posted above. No one is talking about traveling statistics to North Korean Americans vs Europeans. If you must response or contribute, try to address subject of your post you are responding to....and travel statistics does not have any bearing of on the matter been discussed. |
VictorRomanov:Agreed with you. My point is not really towards RCCG, but to the whole Christendom....If you examine Jesus' messages very well and His instructions on how to carry out his work, it aligned with copyleft laws and not copyright. I doubt if Jesus would have sanction the dissemination of the Gospel or Christian admonitions under copyright laws. Yes, once published under copyright laws, such materials must be accorded the protections obtainable under such law; my position is then, when juxtaposed with the scriptural injunctions, these publications should have been done under copyleft laws. |
enilove:"...Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." - 2 Tim 2:15. Your reply above clearly displayed that, you did not hind to Paul's admonition, now are you solidly grounded in the understandings of the scriptures. 1. Matt 23:23 KJV Jesus was speaking to the scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!. If you are not a scribe, Pharisee or a hypocrites, this page is not for you. During the time of Jesus the scribes and Pharisees, did not believe he is a prophet sent by God and they were still keeping the laws according to Moses i.e. they were still worshiping on sabbath day, stoning adulteress, witches, etc to death, sacrificing animals for atonement of their sins including tithing, etc, which were also part of the law...Jesus is telling them that, they are obligated to keep the whole law especially the weightier matters of the law, which were judgement, mercy and faith. If you search the scriptures very well, you never saw Jesus telling his disciples to pay tithe, even when speaking to the 5000, then 4000 gathered to hear him, he never told them anything about tithe....when he sent out his disciples to go make fisher of men, never instructed to teach or collect tithe...None of his disciples or apostles teaches or collected tithe. These are new testament believe example of whom the Lord said we should follow. 2. Yes, Jesus did not come to destroy the laws, but he came to fulfill them. - Matt 5:17. When something is fulfilled, then there is no longer an obligation towards it...e.g. if you are arrested and have fulfill the conditions of your bail requirements, it means there is nothing else that need to be done toward your bail, because it has been fulfilled. The English meaning for the word fulfill is 'bring to completion, achieved, realized, carried out'...He has brought the law into completion on our behalf and as such, we are not obligated to the law any longer. 3. Read Matthew 5:19-20 in conjunction with John 13:34. In Mathew, Jesus was speaking about keeping the commandments, to the old testament covenant, these commandments were the ten commandments and the laws, sacrifices, etc...but in John 13:34, Jesus made it clear to the new covenant Christians what the new commandments should be. We are no longer bind by the old commandments, because we do not operate according to the flesh any longer, we are elevated above the old commandments and operating at a higher realm with Grace. Hence Paul in Rom 6:1-2, admonishes that, we cannot continue in sins (i.e. living in the fresh and committing sins) because we have Grace, and that we have been elevated above that and operating on a higher realm. |

timesup234:I guess you have a first hand knowledge about North Korea freely allowing visitors taking pictures within their territory? Please share. |
seunny4lif:Because as the OP stated, taking these pictures is North Korean is against the law and you can go to jail if caught taking some of these pictures...In the other places viz US, UK, Germany, etc you mentioned, it is not illegal and against the law to do these. The OP is even trying to make your point for you in that....'Can you imagine that, these ordinary & harmless pictures, depicting universal occurrences in almost every country is illegal in North Korean' |
enilove:But, you can’t provide a single verse from the Bible to prove him wrong that Jesus or the Apostles tithed or commanded Christians to tithe. Trying to find him guilty by association is stupid. There are many things he has said that maybe wrong, address those on their own merits, but trying to say, ‘because he might be wrong here or there, therefore everything he said is wrong’ is the lazy man straw argument. Peter was wrong in teaching and also dissociating himself from eating meat sacrificed to idols as evidenced in Paul’s rebuke to him him. He was also wrong is pulling his sworn and cutting off the ear of one of the soldiers that came to arrest Jesus, as indicated by Jesus rebuke to him.... can we by these draw a conclusion that Peter is also wrong in his epistles to the churches? |
VictorRomanov:Not true, you are putting the cart before the horse... Not all books, work of Arts, publications, Intellectual Properties, films, softwares, etc are copyrighted. You can also made these available under copyleft licenses. The decision to have copyright vs copyleft is the sole discretion of the author(s) and is mostly driven by either profit or protectionism. There should not be protectionism or desire to make profit with the word of God. Freely you receive, freely you shall give. Plus, you were commanded by God to spread these word, don’t charge the people to whom you spread the word. Publishing Christian works especially digital ones under copyright and not copyleft laws is wrong and defeats the whole essence of the word of God. |
stinggy:That is a porous defense. The Bible they quoted the scriptures from was distributed free of charge by Gideon, I guess you must have heard of Gideon’s Bible. Those who translated the Bible made it free to the public. Even the business world will laugh at the church for making a profit from a derived work, when the original source is public and free...They have copyleft products, works, publications, software, etc that encourages people to share. If you reads and understand the scriptures and Jesus urgent mandate to spread the word to the ends of the earth and to do that with a high sense of urgency, then any digital publication that will save or preserve a soul for God’s kingdom should have a copyleft license, it is greed that makes today’s men of God to instead publish them under copyright licenses. |
1shortblackboy:Copyright Infringement on God’s word? How much is been paid in royalties to the original translators of the Bible or you think money was not spend in the process? |
gurunlocker:If you add the ghost workers they added in the process, it could be up to 8 millions. |
My only question is: what will the baby call her husband? Uncle abi step-daddy? What will future children of the relationship and this baby be known as? Siblings abi niece? |

Iyajelili:The publicity is to encourage you, to also go to and cook, then go into the streets in your neighborhood and feed the hungry. Posting pictures is optional, but if you post pictures, you may have passed the torch to someone else and encouraged them to engaged in the same selfless act as yours. |
The irony of all these and a warning to many people who have Nannies in the USA or planning on bringing them is that, your very own children that you are trying to protect and for whom the Nanny slaves day in and day out, will be the losers at the end of the day. My guess is, these couple don’t have $121k in the bank to write a check against, guess what? The Nanny can now take over their house, properties, etc until every penny of her money is complete and your children whom you have been saving these properties for will feed on the leftovers, i.e. if there will be any. This scenario is very rampant in the US, where mom and dad had to work to make ends meet, smuggled Nannies from Africa, take care of the kids and home from dusk to dawn...I say smuggle because, 99.9% of African immigrated Nannies in the US are brought in under false pretenses with misrepresentive paperworks and info and that in itself is a crime. Yes, there is what is call Nanny Visa in the US, but it’s conditions is very expensive to maintain as you must employe such individual as a full time worker with contract and adequate remuneration as obtained in the US. |
Advise kai? Travel home and see her! |
Vyolet:It doesn’t take much to mesmerize you... Adolf Hitler played with kids as well, I guess you are falling in love with him already. |
igbodefender:Nonsense achievement, Yar’ Adua buit the Kaduna dry port, Buhari renovated it and he is shining and saying he built it. Plus, the port is useless, how are goods going to get there for people to cleared? There should have been a high speed train carriage tracks between Lagos and Kaduna for that port to have meaning. Just like the port was useless and no one remembered it after Yar’ Adua built, so it will return after these picture taking events. |
laudate:My bad, I didn’t re-read that post....missing the critical ‘only’ after both ‘not’ as in.... "medical marijuana prescriptions are not only oil based and not only made into supplements." |
laudate:I think you are just shifting the goal post here. I understand medical marijuana and that it has different forms and also clearly understand FDA approving cannabis for various ailment management. But none of these was the point of our dialogue. The point I was trying to correct is that THC the psychoactive substance in marijuana is also the medicinal substance. Also that, THC in marijuana is natural and not systemize or processed into the marijuana and as such both normal smokers and those using the medicated products of marijuana get this THC into their body. The only difference is that, in medicine marijuana, THC is the active ingredient, which means there are other addictive substance in the medicine...it is like licking orange which is a rich source of vitamin C (which is enough to rectify a vitamin C deficiency, if taken consistently) vs taking vitamin C tablets. |
