Toks2008:It is all a clickbait to generate traffic and earn more referrer and advertisement money. It is all about the money! No one will click on the topic or the link or even bother to comment if the topic were….. “ Sunmbo Adeoye went to the beach with ……” Most people will hiss pass and say who bi Adeoye or what is new in going to the beach? Controversy generates gossip and gossip is traffic on the internet and traffic is money! |
greenie77:Divorce don’t look pretty on the lady either and it is easier said than done. Most married women know their husbands cheats, and are at a cross road on what to do despite the option of a divorce. Many who were merely suspecting their husband are cheating and went to investigate, even after gathering all the evidence, they are hesitant in walking the divorce route, many are even regretting even investigating the issue. It is not easy been a single mom, child support is it going to cover the whole bills and challenges of single motherhood. Yes, the current situation of her husband cheating can’t continue. The truth is, it is both of their problem because that problem is destroying the home they both built together and their kids future. Saying that, it is the guy’s problem alone and that he can’t change is not true. Both of them have to own and tackle the problem together, after all when they got married, they were pronounced as ONE! |
Freelancerx:Background data usage or background refresh are usually status messages call keepalives. They consume minimal data in bytes and are not noticeable on your overall data usage. Sometimes, they are just an ‘are you alive’ and a response like ‘ok’ been sent between a server and your client application. In techie, we call them ‘control’ messages they are not much. Also automatic backups or updates eat lots of data, but this cancels out because once you switch on your data, the automatic backup will kick in and consume the same amount of data. Also note that, when you switch off your phone and the apps are no longer able to send and receive their background refresh data, the status of the app times out on the server end. Therefore, the next time you switch on your data and the app try to communicate with the server, the app and the server will have to send and receive more data now to authenticate themselves, establish their states, etc. So unless you intend switching it off for days, you end of burning more data. So, if the goal is to save power, then switching it off will achieve that, but if it is data you what to save, you won’t achieve much. |
Viraltrends123:Their country, their rules. You can’t walk into my house and arrogantly disobey my rules while at the same time forcing me to host you, it is not done! If you don’t like my rules or how I have decided to live my life, hit the door. After all, I don’t come into your house and force my will on you. |
ThinkSmarter:You clearly don’t know IVF procedure, you better delete this post, so not to showcase your ignorance. In IVF, eggs are harvested from the woman and sperm is sorted either from the husband or a donor and depending on the kind of IVF paid for, additional tests are run on the egg & sperm to get the desire and best ones, then the chosen sperms are introduced into the chosen eggs outside the worm, once the embryo is formed, it is then implanted into the lady, who carries it to full term like any other pregnancy. The difference between IVF and normal pregnancy is where the pregnancy occurs outside or inside the lady and the opportunity to preselect the sex and other genetic make up of the child more accurately. |
siofra:I know for a fact that, turkey is better than chicken because I have tasted both, how do you know that ‘virgin rocks’ when that is all you know? That is a little presumptuous & childish, same thing we use to say when we were kids….we go around boasting that our mum’s soup is the best ever, until we tasted the road-side mama put’s. |
Englandboy:They are Native Americans, it says so in the article, they are not white. |
Source please? |
Peace081:I think you meant Judge Nigeria hypocritical religious-ity. Bobrisky is the supply side of gay-ism in Nigeria, pause a moment and reason the matter, without demand, supply will dry up and these are top billionaires demand we are talking about for him to be able to be living this lavish lifestyle. All these Alhaji and Men of God indulge in these thing despite the ‘banning’ of same sex relationships in Nigeria, that law just like the others in Nigeria is only meant for the poor. |
backbencher:These are all excuses, the center is afraid of losing it’s power. No one has power gave it up willingly. 1. In terms of finding, the FG gets her money from States and then allocate percentages back to them, since they will no longer be tasked with Policing reducing their tax on State will free up money. 2. FG uses Police & FG agencies to oppress everyone and States everyday….case in point AGN is in Magodo Estate using FG police to intervene on land issues when the Constitution have fully vested the power over land to the State….they are even ignoring the Governor’s orders. 3. Thank God you mentioned a civilization that started it badly, but over the years they are still learning and tweaking it. You can’t be perfect in a vacuum, you have to start somewhere. None of us know anything about the internet when we started Primary School, but look at us today. Yes, State Governors will abuse it just like the FG, you can’t be Governor forever, power must change hands and with each year, the fear of retribution will force them to moderate…..remember one certain former Governor in Edo State? He later became the National Chairman of one National Party, he was pompous and powerful, his thugs reign high every corner of Edo State…..do you hear about him again? I sometime think that he is on a self-exile in some foreign island - no reported sittings….that is power, it must change hand one day. |
Shoodboi:The Governor’s position is weak, thanks to the way the Federal System is operated in Nigeria and the Governor knows this, hence he is technically pleading. Agreed, he is the CSO of the State, but he need that same Inspector General of Police’s blessings to retain his security details, he knows that one phone call all the Police giving him security will withdraw to the barracks, so he need to be careful. Hence the argument for State Police and decentralization of power from the Center to Stated or regions is very important, that is the only the way Federating system works. Imagine the impunity for the AGN to seat in Abuja and using his office to intervene on land issue in state, when the constitution clearly give that power to the State Government. |
So, how did they conclude if it was not murder when the substance given to him has not been tested? At best, if the autopsy was done was limited to his injuries (which appears to be the case), as the cause of death....They can only report that the injuries were not likely the leading cause of this death Now that, they have ruled out murder, if the test of the texicology came back and indicate that, the substance he was forced to drink was deadly, what are they going to do? Given that, this is Nigeria and authorities do not want to seem as wrong, since they have taken the position that, it is not murder; there is will pressure from some quarters very high up to ensure that, the 'results' of the texicology also ruled out murder....the 'result' has been baked in. |
What is bone of contention here? Is it the use of the qualifier ‘fantastically’ or the reference to Nigeria as correct? If you are in doubt about Nigeria corruption, ask the on the people themselves themselves or pull up any of these international corruption indexes. In a case like this, where almost all Nigerians must have had a first hand experience as the corruption of Nigeria or it’s lacks….the court will certify the layman view, just go on the street of any major city in and ask the General public that question. |
Plantiff:Una don start 4 dis new year again? To dey count other people moni and property, instead of una to double hussle so that other people go dey count una own! |
New York is a state and not a city, from your picture, I guess you meant New York City aka NYC, which is different from NY. I think you should be contrasting and not comparing them, since the differences out weighs the similarities. |
HRprof:This is very true, there is no place like home. If only the government will tackle the insecurity problem, many of us will troop home. No light or bad roads is truly a non issue, I go light candle or do what other 9jas are doing, for bad roads, we will manage it together……but that security thing eh, e bi as e get. Sometimes I have come to realize that, Nigerians living in Nigeria have double Grace. The other issue is mosquitoes and opportunistic diseases. If you have lived abroad for sometime, your body immunity will start losing defenses for malaria and these other diseases because they are now foreign to the body compared to a Nigerian living in Nigeria. If one come back, there will be that long learning period for your body to adjust and build their defenses back, in between you might catch something that is foreign to your body that may knock you out for a while. |
bros, what you are going to Sokoto to look for is as simple as saying NO period! My brother one of your problems is, you DO NOT know how to say NO, make it one of your New Year resolution. i.e. Lord teach me how to say NO instead of dying in silence. The Good Lord told us to love our neighbors as ourselves and not more than ourselves, draw the line and learn to say no...start putting your gas cylinder inside your room under lock and key. Don't lose sleep over the fact that, it will annoy them or make them see you as an enemy. No matter how you stand, your back will always be towards half the people at any time, you can't please everyone, so stop with it. Your type will need serious de-programming, so what you should be doing starting January 1st, 2022....is, when you come home from your day's business, do a soul search and ask yourself....Have I said NO to my neighbor today? If the answer is NO, stand up even if it is in the middle of the night, knock on your neighbor's door and tell them NO......do not go to bed without making sure that, the NO column of your daily chores is checked. And do not inconvenience yourself by trying to move, the problem is not your neighbor, you are the problem, and no matter where you move to, the problem will follow you period! So, stop looking to your neighbor for the solution to this problem, when you are the problem and only you have the solution. |
MartinsD12:Bros stop digging a hole for yourself, we all learn every day. You are even showing your shallowness on the subject by saying '...it's not about kw', but still mentioned battery capacity in the same sentence....battery capacity is about AH and AH is about kw, there are direct mathematical relationships. Inverters by themselves do not store power or energy, they merely invert a DC power stored somewhere to an AC output. So, you must connect them to a DC source, though there are some mobile ones that can come with in-built battery, but those mobile battery capacities are usually very small to make any impact. In fact, the idea of using an inverter to charge an EV is very odd.....EV vehicles uses DC batteries and the power are stored in their batteries as DC.....so why will I connect a DC battery source to an inverter to convert my power to AC via the inverter, then feed that AC power to the EV, which converts it back to DC before storing it in it's battery bank? Superfast EV stations use DC sources to charge the vehicle directly which bypasses the AC to DC conversion circuitry on the EV, so a mobile charger of the sort you talked about will not be an inverter. Another reason your solution will not work is pure science and mathematics..... 1. The lowest Telsa capacity option now is 75kw. 2. For your inverter, even if you use the deep cycle batteries, the best capacity you will get is about 100AH, if you go with the marine battery, you can get about 200AH and they weigh about 130 lbs each. To charge your 75kw EV for a mere 6% ie 4,500 watts you will need 4500 watt /12 volt = 375 AH, since you are not going to get 100% efficiency that means you will need to be carrying around in your EV 4 regular 100 AH DC batteries that are fully charged all the time or 2 marine 200 AH batteries weighing a total of 260 lbs. And, what will all these give you? A fully charged Telsa will give you about 300 miles, ( the actual range is between 260 to 400 miles) depending on your driving style, speed, and conditions...so a 6% charged Telsa will give you just about 0.06 x 300 miles = 18 miles, and this is on the assumption that you will be driving at about 65-70 MPH. In Lagos traffic even after that charge, your batteries will completely deplete again if you are still in that traffic for another 15 minutes, which will most likely be the case. And if you say, 6% is too small, you want to double that, and get about 12% charge so that you can get about 36 miles or more drive time....that is 4 marine batteries of 200AH weighing about 520 lbs that you will be carrying about or 8 regular 100AH batteries. You can see that the risk-reward ratio is not in favor of an inverter or battery sourced EV mobile charger. Though, this might change in the future when western countries might have tapped the technology to make it profitable from Aliens. However, a gasoline-powered DC or AC generator is a better alternative when your EV run out of power in an isolated area; you just have to be carrying the generator with you all the time and there are some compact gasoline generators you can get as a backup for your EV in places like Africa. In advanced countries, a phone call will get you emergency crew with these types of mobile EV generator chargers that will give you small juice, so you can get to the nearest charging station. |
MartinsD12:Bros you well so? Tesla vehicle batteries ranges from 50kw to 100kw, na him you wan you use 1000w inverted charge so? Park well I beg, you for kuku advice make them dey carry solar panel for trunk, so wey battery run down, na just to spread panel and plug motor to get charge. |
Zoharariel:I use to also think that, our better days are ahead guaranteed. But now, not so much…..it is no longer guaranteed that, the mere passage of time will make things better. Giving the way things are at the moment in Nigeria, I will give anything to reset the clock backward to 5, 8 or 10 or 20 years back, things were really better then like in year 2000. Ironically, in 2000 we were all yelling 2020 or 2021 will be better, now that we are here, we know better. |
Ryda:She is faulting those who carry loudspeakers and cameras to announce their good deeds….while codely using her Instagram loudspeakers to let us know that, she also do good deeds, but don’t carry cameras follow bodi, who is fooling who? I beg, ignore the camera or loudspeakers, the bottom line is, a good deed has been done and someone has been helped and it does not matter if you announce it or not…..and by the way, who made her the Judge over how others should administer their good deeds….it is their money and time, let them dispense it the way they like! She is just using it to seek her own 15 minutes of fames and to tell us that, she also do good deeds. |
Sammy101111:I sympathize with the lady. But, I beg to disagree; I don’t see any fault with the guy’s action. Love no bi by force, and the fact that someone loves you does not mean, you must love them back. They have tried this thing for five months and from the guy’s point of view, it is not working and he have told this lady that, he wants to date someone else. |
KingAzubuike:The ‘booster’ is not another vaccine. You are taking the same vaccine again and in case of Pfizer, the third one you take, which about six months after the second shot is called the booster shot, it is just an English word. The reason for the booster shot is to boost your immunity as it has been discover that, immunity starts to go down after six months removed from the second shot. The truth is, no one is been forced to take anything…just like almost half of the population are suspicious of the vaccine and COVID-19, the other half are believers and those are the ones materials like these are for. |
Discerning eyes should note that, she said…a man, singular. And it is not a coincidence, she mentioned…a man twice. Men watch out, she is coming for many of you, just one of you, can’t give her the kind of money she is looking, she will have to grab it from many….how many, she didn’t tell us! |
To me, what surprising is his comment that, they don’t discuss Security at the Federal Executive Council meeting. With the rate of insecurity in the country today, one would think that should top the agenda on all FEC unless he does not know what he is talking about. |
saddler:Did Jesus or his disciple browse the internet? Where in the Bible did they join social media page like Facebook, Instagram and Nairaland wasting idle time commenting and posting pictures and updates? You guys are a bunch of hypocrites, Paul told Peter that, he that eat the meat sacrificed to idols is not less righteous compare to him that does not eat and the act does not make anyone unclean. It is want comes out of your mouth that makes you unclean. You don’t celebrate Christmas, but you celebrate New Year….where is New Year written in Bible or Jesus was seen Celebrating it? And where in the Bible the exact date of the New Year we celebrate written? The correct connotation of this year is….2021 AD, the ‘AD’ stands for ‘After the death of Christ’….where in the Bible was the date that Christ died was written? January 1st, 2022 and December 25th, 2021 are all symbolic dates arrive at by men to commemorate events related to the birth and period of Jesus Christ, no one know the exact dates, but the exact dates does not matter. |
The story have holes. There is no bullet hole on the bedsheet, if the bullet truly penetrated the ceiling, it will not just land sideways on the bed. It will still have enough strength to at least bury itself inside the bed. And if you say, it penetrated the bedsheet, there should have been some bed fabric and thread stuck to the bullet. |
Mayeldah:EFCC letter even if valid and subsisting, does not trump a court order. If they were still interested in prosecuting him, they would have appeal the High Court’s order barring them from prosecuting him. |
Frenchkiss564:There is the US and Canadian side, the fall divide the US and Canada on that North Eastern corridor. |
It looks like they are passing her around in the office….patiently wait for your turn, but banish every thought of getting serious with her….she is the office girl. |
Aufbauh:That is why Falana is right to refer the matter to the Police, so they can call her in to make her statements and to interrogate her. Anybody can be invited by the Police and anyone can petition the Police to invite someone, that is the lawful and civil way to settle issues in the society. She is making much ado about nothing, saying she want to sue. |
