jerseyboy: Sit At Home is a simple, effective and mildest form of civil disobedience and only a small sacrifice to pay in the course of FREEDOM. The people get it and comply. It is the will of the people.
ReportHateCrime: I am sick of miscreants hiding under the guise of being in diaspora and spreading hate speech and beating the drums of war in Nigeria whilst they hide away in Europe and America with their families.
So, find below the links to the web pages in the UK, EU and America where you can anonymously report any online Hate speech against other tribes by any Nigerian hiding in Diaspora .
Maybe this will cage the likes of Adeyinka Grandson (now jailed in the UK for 4.5 years), Nnamdi Kanu (who may still be tried for Hate Speech if he returns to the UK after his release) and Simon Ekpa (who may also be jailed once Finland receives enough complaints about his online Hate Speech against other tribes).

Its unfortunate that a bunch of Diaspora based Semi Illiterate and ILLITERATE CLEANERS, SECURITY GUARDS AND Care Workers and idle unemployment benefit scroungers use the internet to deceive educated people living in Nigeria to set the country on fire whilst their unemployed and underemployed selves hide abroad in the hope that when the war starts and the dust settles, they will bring their illiterate selves back to Nigeria and rule over the millions of educated Nigerians who stayed in Nigeria through thick and thin.
I am a Yoruba man living in London but have never supported Adeyinka Grandson nor Sunday Igboho in their quest to break up Nigeria and set it on fire and I remember telling a semi-illiterate friend in London that it was futile for him and his Yoruba nation agitators to boast that we will get Oduduwa republic by Dec 2020 and I warned him not to give them his hard earned money in the guise of contributing to Yoruba nation coffers but I'm not sure if he heeded my call and I found it repulsive at the number of loud mouth Europe and America based Nigerian Diasporan Semi illiterates, Thugs and Touts (both men and women) shouting up and down on Youtube that we must break away from Nigeria and fight a war if necessary and I am thinking to myself that is it these people loudmouth semi illiterates who are going to determine my being a Nigerian or not ?
People just jump on a bandwagon without doing their own research / due diligence about the so called leaders of the futile agitation
If they had done their research, they would have found out that Igboho was a political thug / tool financially empowered by successive Oyo state Governors and at one time he even worked for Tinubu who paid him off so that Igboho's boys will not scatter Ondo state elections some years ago. He is even being accused of being a Benin Republic to Nigeria Cross border smuggler which makes sense when you think of his boys in May 2021 going to forcefully (with guns) open the Idiroko border in Ogun State between Nigeria and Benin republic to facilitate free movement of goods and cars into Nigeria. So igboho must have been pained that Buhari closed the borders as this will have affected his alleged smuggling business negatively.
If people had done a simple google research they would have found that Nnamdi Kanu was a failed and unemployed business man in the UK where a simple company house search for his name in the UK will reveal that at the time he started his agitation, he only had £20 or less in his company accounts.
Again I find it absurd that an educated person will think that it is proper or possible to secede from a country by arming your foot soldiers with Juju tied around their body. what backward mindset ?
The leaders of the Catalonia breakaway group in Spain are still in prison more than 2 years on and this is in Europe but some people just suspend their reasonable mind and education and bury their head in the sand and allow all sorts of illiterates, semi illiterates and mad men and women to lead them into a pit all in the name of breaking away from Nigeria and yet these same people still carry and travel on a Nigerian passport.

Supremos: Yes, I and the generality of Igbos had before 2015 election and even up until now, called out Buhari as been wicked, clueless and archiactic, as well as lacking the much needed technocratic accumen, to drive the Nigerian project, and history has justified our stance. Insecurity and poor economic well-being of the nation, is a common knowledge among Nigerians.
The Southwesterners on the other hand, were the mouthpiece and attack dog of Buhari and northerners, doing all the dirty jobs of insulting Igbos and other like-minds. Grossly defending this evil and draculian administration because of Osibanjo. In fact, their was a common line used by them, when told buhari lack the required economic know how, to manage our economy successfully; "Buhari will manage security, and osibanjo will manage economy". It's obvious both the *mere commissioner" and his principal has failed woefully. But this isn't the reason for this trade!.
Reason for the trade;
The just concluded APC national convention, has seen Tinubu their henchman, arm twisted, and apparently played by the Fulani mafians and Aso Rock cabals, by ensuring his candidates didn't scale through especially the chairmanship position. That's the first step towards demystifying the Moneybag drug lord. I must give it to tinubu, he's smart.
He's already fighting his last battle in APC while positioning his men SDP.
His plans includes; A. Fighting in APC through blackmails, so as to clinch the ticket. Since Buharis body language tends to favour someone else other than tinubu and Osibanjo (I don't see Buhari allowing his immediate vice, to become president), watch out how Yoruba newspapers will go on full throttle, to call out all buharis maladministrations. Even their Daddy GOs and Alfas and prophets, Will be dishing out fake doomsday prophecies of how APC will loose and how APC will conflagrate and burst into flames. They're all paid. Some northerners would be paid and sponsored to protest on behalf of Tinubu. Of course he has the bullion van to pay all hungry Nigerians.
B. If Buhari refuses to bulge, he will in the 11th hour head to SDP, to reinvent himself and contest, and of course, he will loose, but after 2023, watch Oduduwa republic do a heavy comeback with full force.
The short-term gains made by ESN to shore up Igbo confidence and relevance in the political landscape is about to be wiped out through propaganda and counter-intelligence designed to ridicule Ipob and Esn.
CyynthiaKiss: El-Rufai had after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday vowed to hire foreign mercenaries to fight against terrorists following the Monday night attack on a Kaduna-Abuja bound train.
This vow given by El Rufai brings many events into imagination and recall. Unfortunately time is not ripe to comment on them. He did not have to vow to Buhari on it though.
KINGofHELL: Has anyone else noticed that the engagement rate of Northerners has drastically reduced on this Forum?
Familiar Northerners like Arrewa /Arewa1stson, AdolfAboki, SilverNorGold, and others hardly create threads or engage in conversations these days, which is unlike them.
Seun should do something to make the Forum attractive to Northerners. We're tired of watching only Yoruba and Igbo engaging in discussions on NL.
They were never here to begin with. Buhari sent them to promote ruga on social media, that's when they came here.
jerseyboy: "When constitutional rule was restored in 1999": This statement here proves this Farooq is a fraud because clearly the 1999 constitution is a forgery.
He is an agent of Islamic hegemony who realizing the imminence of Nigeria's break-up simply wants to buy time for the Northern agenda.
This is taqiyya.
I noticed this about him. He once wrote an article in which in an attempt to rehabilitate the deteriorated relationship between Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani he betrayed his lack of qualification as an authority on history, he butchered history and presented inaccurracies as facts. I came to same conclusion as you just did but was on ban, I could read but not post comment.
Prof Kperogi is a native of Niger State. Many of their identities are subsumed under Islamic faith. All their traditional rulers now wear turban, not indigeneous crown. Turban is a headgear style imported from Tuareg regions and made popular by Fulani. There is nothing Islanic about it. No one in Saudi Arabia, the seat of Islam tie turban unless they belong among the tribal clans of the desert.
So people in Niger state no longer have an identity to reclaim. Therefore belonging in Nigeria is a far better option for them than going independent. To that end they sabotage efforts elsewhere to separate. Like he said, North did not want Yoruba to rule, but when it dawned on them Yoruba will destroy Nigeria they conceeded and gave rulership to Yoruba. Nigeria is negotiable, when the cost becomes unbearable.
Beware of the many small ethnic groups, they are not interested in a dissolved Nigeria because their glory and existence ends here.

Politicians self-promoting their candidacy are slowly embracing the idea of consensus and using it to push acceptance. In doing so they credit themselves as advocates of democracy. There is nothing democratic in consensus. They frame their speech and use democracy as smokescreen to sell consensus to the electorate. Don't buy it.
Consensus is synonymous with concession, which derives from conceed...or to submit!
In its applications, concession is used to symbolize an economic arrangement secured with a contractual term and binding on the trade parties. When applied in territorial warfare, the word conceed translates to yield ground to the victor. In politics, consensus will have application in instances where needs and interests are negotiated and a win-win situation emerges that each party is comfortable in.
Contrary to the idea of consensus, democracy is the organizing of people, with authority to deliberate and express choice in representation or delegation of rulership.
Rulership belong to the people, but if everyone is a ruler there will be no one to rule over. Another name for rulership is government. Only a fraction of the people will be selected with delegated authority to rule government. The selection of these few is an involved exercise and an obligation of civic duty upon the people. People must exercise choice and select who will go to government. This is democracy.
Anyone calling consensus a democratic exercise is a thief and will put a blindfold on you to enter government and loot treasury and exploit you with abuse.
Denounce and call them out as looters-in-waiting. Say NO to consensus, arrangee and pardee pardee selection into government.
There is nothing in this world that will ever make me take anything you say seriously so long as you sit abroad and applaud people who are terrorising their own people. If you believe that what Simon Ekpa is doing is great, then you must go to Orlu/Orsu and enjoy the greatness. Until then, anything you write is fantasy and nonsense to me.
If it is so great, go there and enjoy the experience. It's only after you have done that that you can preach to me. Anything else is pure nonsense.
I am telling you about what people are experiencing daily and you are telling me stories.
I am not going to read or respond to your fantasies anymore until you have walked the talk.
Naptu, you own this thread, even if you didn't own it, because of your status as a respectable contributor in Nairaland we all look up to you. You have influence and following here. Expect that this thread will roll into many pages, particularly this weekend. The topic of discussion is interesting to many people, it is current in political forums.
I will appeal to you not to attach yourself to the emotions of sovereingty of Nigeria.
If at all you need a cause to identify with, let that cause be to your own ethnic identity. Own your cultural identity, your ethnic language, your traditions and take pride in the sovereingty of your own indigeneous land and ethno-race, with its civilization and history.
Doing so liberates you from the burdens of Nigeria, and you begin to respect the need of others to also own their land and culture with pride and honor.
Nigeria has no culture, no language, no civilization, no ancestry, no nativity, no endowments, no identity. Who wants to live in a zero-identity society? I don't!
The Biafrans should be a model for rest of the people who want to sever their membership of this zero-identity nation.
As regards what Soludo must do, here is what I wrote few days ago in a similar thread condemning IPOB.
The sit-at-home order is an uncommon but practical reaction to a civic contract that lacks honor, fairness and justice. The advocates of sit-at-home are synonymous to the advocates of civil rights for blacks in America represented militarily by Black Panther.
Black Panther brought the attention of American government to what is possible and what to expect if the peaceful demands of bus boycotts and counter sit-ins are not acknowledged with positive and legally binding changes. Efforts of Black Panther in the background led to acceptance and embrace of Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Whether we admit or not, sit-at-home has made some positive gains and earned respect for the Igbo resolve, which before now had been taken for granted. Nigerian Security has taken note...and learnt the risk of engagement in Igboland.
Governor Soludo can't just outlaw sit-at-home and not acknowledge their grievance and lay out a framework to treat issues of injustice and persecution of Igbos in their own homeland.
It is good to end sit-at-home, but will ordinary Igbo begin to enjoy the fruits of his/her labor without unnecessary harassment and negative profiling in the political and justice system? The challenge is on His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo to become the homeland hero and bring respect and honor to Igboland.
naptu2: I have written about this many times on my diary. There are people who live far away, outside Nigeria, who push this nonsense because they are not affected. I have seen people in Nigeria begin with this nonsense, but step away when it begins to affect them. MetaPhysical says kudos to autopiloters, why? Because none of his relations has been killed by them. They have not destroyed any store belonging to anyone that he knows. They have not extorted money from anyone he knows. (It's very sweet when you live far away and don't have to experience it every day). People who live in the area are complaining and backing Governor Soludo to get rid of the problem (https://www.nairaland.com/7047097/governor-soludo-moves-end-monday), but MetaPhysical who lives far away is applauding and encouraging terrorists who are making the lives of the people that they claim to be fighting for into a living hell (nobody has done more damage to the idea of Biafra than these terrorists). The last time someone told me this nonsense I told him that in one way or another everybody will be affected. Whether you live far away or close by, everybody will be affected. He has now changed his tune after they attempted to extort money from his father through violence. But according to MetaPhysical, killing innocent people, destroying their property, extorting money from innocent and suffering people and preventing them from earning a living in this harsh economy is not a crime (I'm sure he'll also say that the propagation of hatred of people based on their ethnicities, the view that someone like Pastor Kumuyi should be killed just because he is Yoruba, is not a crime and Adeyinka Grandson has just been given a peace prize by the UK Government https://www.nairaland.com/7057980/adeyinka-grandson-jailed-4.5-years ).
People who live far away should continue pretending that this is some kind of fantasy, one day, in one way or another, it will get to them and they will see reality. Maybe they or their relatives that will end up like Chike Akunyili, Justice Stanley Nnaji, Chioma (the student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University), the many poor keke riders or traders, including elderly traders, who have lost their goods or tricycles to these lunatics. Keep praising terrorists, you hear.
This response is emotional blackmail.
The diaspora plays a crucial and important role in the awakening and empowerment of liberty and freedom, largely in Africa and generally in many other parts of the world.
African Americans like Randal Robinson, Harry Belafonte, and a host of others in America, were instrumental in convincing American congress to slap sanctions on South Africa, put pressure on de Klark to free Mandela and end apartheid. They were not soaked in bloodshed but their activism from afar...on a foreign soil, paid off to end bloodshed in the ANC struggle for liberty and freedom. Harry Belafonte himself was a musician, not a politician. His introduction to politics and activism happened because he was married to Miriam Makeba, who was at one point exiled by Apartheid South Africa. She organized political meetings and helped raise awareness amongst Blacks in America. Belafonte, through Jesse Jackson, got audience with Congress. The activism to end apartheid took a new turn from there. I'm sure you know these things.
While ANC was blood-deep in the struggle to win their freedom, a set of people thousands of miles away, elites living comfortably on another continent took actions that ignited influence and intervention and stopped the bloodshed and colonialism in South Africa.
Let us go to first Biafra, the Biafra of Ojukwu. The outside world remained largely unaware of the extent of suffering going on in Biafra. Ojukwu dispatched some people to go abroad and raise awareness to the suffering on ground. Chinua Achebe played a crucial role in that, so did Azikiwe. Their alert spurred interest in Europe and helped brought in aid.
So, do not disparage or belittle the powerful and far-reaching capacity of the diasporean element in influencing, empowering and intervening to win the struggle for those on ground sacrificing blood and property to the cause. Distance does not impair commitment or resolve, it only limits collateral losses...but the overall goal is a joint ownership, each to play its role and come out victorious as a team, a nation of indivisible destiny.
NaijaCoverBlog: The Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, revealed that he was to board the Abuja-Kaduna train that was attacked on Monday, March 28, but a phone call caused him to abort the journey.
The Attack left some of the passengers dead, others injured and many still unaccounted for.
Speaking on Saturday, April 2, when Igbo leaders under the aegis of Ahamefuna Socio-cultural organisation converged in Enugu, Igwe Achebe said he did not board the train because of a phone call inviting him for an emergency.
He said: "I was among the passengers meant to be on the train last Monday because I had a meeting I was supposed to be attending. I was already at the train station when I got a call over an emergency and I had to leave the station to attend to it."
The monarch decried the increasing insecurity situation in the country.
naptu2: Of course it's defence of their homeland. Defence of their homeland from Chike Akunyili, defence of their homeland from Justice Stanley Nnaji, defence of their homeland from Chioma (the student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University) and defence of their homeland from keke riders and traders.
Sir, these people are engaged in a fight for liberation of their homeland, and by that I mean the inclusion of culture, language, the tradition, their entire value system as a people is attached to the Biafran nationality, this is their pride. Infact, Igbo as a ethnic group preceded the existence of Nigeria. Their cultural value is older than Nigeria. It is unreasonable that Nigeria will dictate to them how they must exist. The confrontation between Nigeria and Igbo is a military one, it cannot be resolved politically or legally, it must be confronted in arms and their liberty secured forcefully. So they are doing the correct thing any people must do under similar situation.
The greatest nations today went through similar exercise to obtain their freedom. USA fought and freed itself from the English crown and abolished colony on American soil. China fought and freed itself from Imperial Japan. In these struggles noble Americans lost their lives, noble Chinese people lost lives.
All the noble and ignoble Igbos that are killed or sacrificed in the struggle for freedom will either fall into martyrdom or become traitors, these are not new aspects of warfare and freedom fights.
Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and bunch of black freedom fighters did not live to witness the rewarding civil rights acts that ushered in a new rights of citizenship for the Black Americans.
Please, we need to stop acting as if what is going on in Igboland is crime, it is not. This pattern of thought and equating rights of persons to trouble-making is why Igboho was denied heroism and forced to flee and abandon his rights. Igbos are not Yorubas, they are a people of resolve and determination and we ought to see them as good model for how to deal with a bullying government.
Kudos to the autopiloters for doing what is right for their people. I cannot and will never abandon my own Yoruba ethnicity for any substitute but on account of their bravery and resolute force I am proud of Igbo people and wish we have as much fortitude and force of mind to kill off Nigerian Sovereingty and dissolve its remains.
naptu2: To all those that say that the Autopiloters faction of IPOB has nothing to do with the violence in the East and to those that say that Autopiloters have nothing to do with IPOB, check this out.
[quote author=wwwihy post=111534590]The United States Government has said its new $537million (approx N223,257,750,000) in Lagos will be its largest consulate in the world when completed in 2027.
Ambassador Mary Leonard and Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos during the ongoing groundbreaking ceremony for the consulate.
ojesymsym: I know this is an overly simplified solution but then countries that have no diplomatic relations sometimes use a mutually friendly country to do their transactions. I think (not sure) US uses Qatar for Iran issues. Similar structure exist for North Korea I think.
Back doors that work seamlessly in diplomacy may not be that easy to navigate in trade.
Russia is not obligated to enter into a circumnavigation contract on behalf of Europe. Neither is Europe obligated to find middlemen for payment arrangement.
I believe the action, reaction, to Russia's invasion of Ukraine was impulsive. There was no fore thought, even though the problem has been there in their face over 10yrs.
More than half of some major roads in Anambra communities have been taken over by heaps of refuse thereby making both human and vehicular movement almost difficult.
Our correspondent who went around some locations on Wednesday observed that major drainage channels, especially in the Onitsha metropolis have also been blocked as a result of indiscriminate dumping of refuse by residents and traders in the areas.
The refuse dumps in some cases, have encroached on the streets, blocking drainage, and defacing the aesthetic of the neighbourhoods.
The refuse in these locations, including the Upper Iweka junction, both ends of the Oguta Road, the MCC junction, Egerton Main Market road, Okpoko, all in Onitsha, the Unizik junction, Awka, some parts of Nnewi and Nnobi, were as tall as a storey building.
For example, behind the motor parks at Upper, in Onitsha, the drainage running through the main road has heaps of refuse which remained an eyesore, even as passersby always cover their nostrils while crossing the road as a result of the stench.
Some of the residents, who spoke to our correspondent, said it was disheartening to note that the refuse collectors have not come to clear the refuse three months to the exit of the last administration, despite the monthly bill they bring.
A resident of Oguta Road, Chinwe Nda, lamented the poor management of the wastes in the metropolis by the Anambra State Waste Management Authority, despite the huge monthly bills residents pay.

wehla: Copied. APC is done with her National convention and it was very successful. The enemies of the party has been put to shame. Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former governor of Nasarawa State was pronounced as our national chairman using consensus method.
I made a post over here on facebook on February 24th, where I listed the expectations of the public as APC convention gathered momentum then. In the said post I stated thus; 1. APC's National convention won't be postponed again. The new date is definitive.
2. The incoming national chairman of APC will come from North-Central. Precisely a current senator and former governor a state that shares boundaries with Abuja.
3. The new national chairman will be elected using "Consensus method", the new chairman is expected to apply Consensus method too in electing our party's presidential candidate. This is firstly aimed at producing in a problem-free candidate and anointed choice of Mr. President too. Secondly is to minimize the plans of the enemies of APC from actualizing their dreams of disintegration of APC.
4. The incoming President of Nigeria come 2023, will come from South-East geopolitical zone. The anointed man is one of the arrow heads that formed APC. The person belongs to the old ANPP Block, one of the blocks that formed APC.
5. The incoming Vice President of Nigeria come 2023, will come from North-East geopolitical zone. The person belongs to the old CPC Block, one of the major blocks that formed APC too."'
I made other predictions but I won't go into it for want of time. You can revisit the said post again. The above predictions from numbers 1 to 3 have come to reality. While we await for numbers 4 & 5.
Let me repeat this, if you are not close to His Excellency, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, the current minister for Science, Technology and Innovations. Please find your way to him or his political family, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu is going to fly APC's Presidential ticket come 2023. It may be sounding like a moon light tale but this is actually the reality. Those of us who are real APC members and are privileged to be close to the inner system of the party and her happenstances should be able to tell this better.
The political activities around Dr Ogbonnaya Onu in the last two days after the convention is a convincing fact that the deal is done and the die is cast. Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu is Buhari's Choice. Afternoon of Yesterday, the Chief of Staff to Mr President, Prof, Ibrahim Gambari hosted him in his residence Inside presidential villa. The two men had a closed door meeting which lasted for 2 hours. Your guess about the reason for the meeting is as good as mine. Just this morning as early as 5 am. The secretary to goverment of federation, Boss Mustpha in company of Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasiru El-rufai visited Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu at the minister's Asokoro residence. What are Boss and El-rufai coming at such time of the day for? I don't know. We have pictures but we won't publish it. The political space is very slippery at the moment.
The newly elected national chairman of APC himself can testify the role Onu played to ensure he emerged, Onu's group wanted senator Tanko Al-macura but Onu himself insisted he wanted Senator Adamu Abuduallahi even before Mr. President endorsed him. Who knows what he saw in Senator Adamu?
The man APC made the National Deputy Chairman, (South), Chief Emma Enukwu from Enugu State is Onu's Loyalist. All the past and present political positions Chief Emma Enukwu have occupied in Life was facilitated by His Excellency, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu. Make research about this. The position of Deputy National Chairman of APC, (South) was initially billed to be given to Senator Ken Nnamani, but about two weeks before convention, Chief Nnamani began to play a hide and seek kind of game, immediately Onu signaled Gov. Hope Uzodinma to inform him of his displeasure and Chief Nnamani was waved bye bye of his position. His Excellency, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu is not a noise maker, he has paid his dues as far as Nigeria and APC is concerned.
His Excellency Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu will be declaring for President by the second week of April.

massmediang: I met the only surviving twin saved by Mary Slessor over 100 years ago (Video)
Mary Slessor was a missionary posted from Scotland to Calabar in Nigeria by the Presbyterian Church in 1876. She also lived in Arochukwu Nigeria during her missionary work. Mary Slessor stopped the killing of twins in Nigeria Calabar and she achieved this by saving a lot of twins either left in the bush to die or from their homes where their mothers hid them. One of the twin babies Mary Slessor saved by herself before the killing of twins was finally abolished is Mgbeafor Okereke. I met her in her home in Amasu, Arochukwu, where I had an amazing interaction with her.
Igboid: Amaechi is simply being cunning and keeping his cards close to his chest. He never said he wasn't going to run.
I made this thread just to make sure that Amaechi and his Ikwerre supporters know that they will not be running on the back of Ndiigbo.
I have not beaten anyone down. I made it obvious that Amaechi deserves to contest but should be doing so as an Ikwerre, Rivers man or South South man he is.
Did anyone beat Yaradua drum before OBJ picked him as PDP candidate? Ogbonnaya Onu, Okorocha, Ngige have been with Buhari and APC from the formation of the party, if he doesn't consider them good enough to be endorsed, maybe it should be a message to them that they cannot not escape the Igbo tag and treatment even if they choose to embrace Nigeria and Nigerians?
As for Umahi, why shouldn't APC flag him? I mean does it mean he didn't do his homework well or have assurances from inner party men before a moved from PDP to APC? If that be the case, what do you suppose Igbo commoners do? Party primaries cannot be affected by commoners as we are not Party delegates.
If we were talking about Lagos you don't consider yourselves to be commoners. You are not delegates in party elections in Lagos, whether PDP or APC, the handicap has not stopped you from contesting for office in every election cycle, has it?
I believe Tinubu will win the election. He is that good! Personally I don't want him to win. My grudge with him is his zealotry with Nigeria and patriotism that a unified Nigeria is possible. Yoruba is far more civilized and supreme to a shitty Nigeria. Those we hold in esteem and call leaders ought not to promote Nigeria above Yorubaland. It should be other way around. Tinubu has professed to be a Nigerian first, I therefore think his fate is in the hands of Nigerians, not Yorubas. I am a strongly patriotic Yoruba man. My patriotism to Nigeria is in an order beneath my patriotism to other Yorubalands in West Africa and diaspora. I will support Ketu or Porto Novo in Benin Republic for example before I support Nigeria.
I say all this to share that unity advocates exist in every ethnic group, those who love Nigeria more than their indigeneous fatherland. You cannot deny Onu but embrace Amaechi, they both are unity lovers and reverence the North. Nevertheless, Igbo should see Onu's eligibility as non-negotiable and rally behind getting him out to the primary.
Stop mentioning Umahi. If Fani Kayode contest against Umahi APC will endorse FFK ahead of Umahi. Drop the idea. Umahi will be a deficit to Ndigbo.
LegendHero: Brother while you are gone, Ndibo have been wasting their unproductive time on Tinubu and APC.
Lest I forget, Obi Pandora the coward went to Atiku presidential declaration, called Atiku his leader, then went to Anambla the next day to declare to some mushroom set of Warrant Chiefs in a 2by2 room. That is Ndibo "Acclaimed majority tribe" candidate, even Portable Zazu will draw more party bigwigs if he were to declare.
Now Ndibo have been so psychologically battered and self-esteem weakened such that they are now campaigning for Amaechi and Jonathan (Minority tribes o). They are damn scared to stand up and be counted. Imagine!
You see, that's my frustration with them. I tried hard to even ignore this thread but the imbecility was too powerful for me to walk away from. These people need mentoring in politics.
First, I think Buhari is inconsiderate and would be an ingrate not to promote and sponsor Ogbonnaya Onu for the primary. I understand the man is not interested in running. It's not about him, it's about his people and leadership. Tinubu does not need Buhari's support, he can win an election independently. So Buhari can stand behind Onu against Tinubu in primary. This will satisfy the zoning to South and will be a fair and free contest.
Igboid is saying Amaechi appears to have earned Buhari's endorsement as a consensus candidate already. It appears he is content that Buhari is behind Amaechi, not Tinubu. The imbecility arises where Amaechi will be a cultural burden and awaken all sorts of old pains and trust issues in ethnic supremacy against Igbo.
An Igbo not interested in running for Presidency should be far better a choice to his people than an enemy expressing interest for the job.
