Kudos to them but why always Air Peace?

Did Air Peace carry them to Sudan?

The useless Alhaji that sent them there can't bring them back? Shocking.
Travel › Re: How Much Will It Cost Nigeria To Build Cities Like These? by mmsen:
Get power and water done right, first.

Then you need emergency services including good hospitals.

Create safe, affordable and reliable public transit. Including bike lanes.

Then you need law enforcement, reliable, honest law enforcement and a judicial system free from malfeasance.

You also need good schools and universities.

Once you have all those in place you'll realize that you don't need/want skyscrapers. Especially in the tropics, it's foolish.
Crime › Re: Many Estates In Abuja Are Proceeds Of Money Laundering – Chris Mishela by mmsen:
90% Dubai was built using proceeds of money laundering.

London probably the same.

Much of Miami's skyline was paid for with the proceeds of the illicit drug trade.

Real estate is a great place to hide suspect funds.

That is the person you need to look at. Ultimately the responsibility falls on the woman.

I don't think many Brits would agree with that statement.

The only difference is that British politicians are more image conscious than their Nigerian counterparts.

Celebrities › Re: Marriage Is Dead, Women Have Turned It Into Poverty Alleviation Scheme— OAP Nedu by mmsen: 4:08pm On Apr 16, 2023
Marriage has ALWAYS been about poverty alleviation for women.

Men have been asleep for a long time.

Maybe in the past there were benefits to marriage for men but that has not been true for at least 20 years. Any man getting married in the 21st century is foolish or enjoys stress and aggravation.

At least from the time I knew a thing or two, their marriage flourished in my eyes, my dad isn’t as liberal as I am. I don’t think my dad will allow my mum go on a vacation on her own, I did so for my ex. So they flourished and I’ve seen other relationships that worked well
As I said, fewer restrictions on their personal conduct and greater financial freedom mean that women are now freer to explore alternate options.
Romance › Re: Broke Up With My Cheating Partner by mmsen: 12:42pm On Apr 09, 2023
No disrespect to your parents OP but you really don't know what your parents marriage was like from the inside, you know it from the outside looking in.

Men and women have always cheated but women are more likely to do so nowadays with fewer restrictions on their conduct and greater financial freedom.
