Liberal2020: To the eyewitness...Someone had his hands stained with blood at after midnight and told you he killed a goat and you foolishly believed it. I don't think it is that easy to kill a goat alone. Not so easy...I did try one time and the goat escaped with the knife.i know someone just died but this your experience with a goat had me laughing like mad laugh eh |
COOLDUN: Teacher sending his/her pupil/student to an errand is never a sign of slavery , I agree that it is not all that right, but the way some of us here are taking the matter looks so judgmental. There was a news which most of us here and other forums applauded recently, about how a teacher saved the lives of her pupils from the recent school shooting in the USA, by hiding them in a locked cupboard in her class, and died while protecting her pupils.an errand OUTSIDE the school premises at 10am ?? |
free2ryhme: Na wa for Nigeria girls sha>> I cant seem to understand why on earth a man will turn you into punching bag at the slightest provocation and yet u keep consoling yourself all will be fine until he kills you like a dog all in the name of love... Now her family suffers.Lack of self worth |
homesteady: so is it only what is in the curriculum that the students are taughtyes please, they should teach them what they are paid to teach,if part of the moral lesson includes sending them outside the school premise then no thanks, the parents of the girl are even lucky that they know what happened to her , there is a body , and perhaps the possibility of closure after she is mourned , what if she was kidnapped ? and nobody has a clue where she is right now? All in the name of teaching moral the poor girl is now at the mortuary oya CLASS DISMISSED. |
homesteady: i dont think it is a crime for a teacher to send his/her student!! Even in Private schools, teachers send their studentssave it please!!! there should be clear boundaries between a student and a teacher , in my opinion teachers have no right to send any student any errand if it doesn't have to do with the curriculum of the school or the welfare of the student. clearly the errand was a personal one and has resulted in the death of someone's child, i hope the teacher dies of guilt. We need to refuse mediocrity on so many levels , there needs to be a standard. This is not a case of how well a child can cross the street , the child had no business being outside at all. |
greateros: y is the wole family looking like they were brought up by same monkeywhen i saw that family picture,i asked myself i thought they said it was only him that was raised by the monkeys , i had to re-read the article , then i saw your comment, i said ok no be only me dey think along those lines. na wa oh things dey happen . we thank God he has been rescued, with further rehabilitation he will be fine |
abi oo. Most of them don't have papers so they get frustrated when they leave. People will definitely ask them why they left in Naija but shame to say no papers is their problem so they just find dirty excuse like the British economy no good. If Britain's economy is not good, what will you call Nigeria's economy?
God bless you for that statement in bold |
dbride: 99.9% of nigerians living in the UK are suffering and smiling, period. They are coming back because they have reached their wits end, their backs on the wall economically. Besides, there is absolutely no life there. Nigeria is bad, yet these whites who attain their retirement in 9ja, secure another job just to stay back in 9ja! I have travelled far and wide, home is home in spite of all her shortcomings.99.9% please which Nigerians have you been hanging out with ? Everyone is at different stages of their life and career, so maybe the ones you know are still at the suffering and smiling stage but the ones that i know ,i can tell you are doing brilliantly, smiling and smiling. I'm Nigerian, born and raised but without any reasonable doubt , i know ,i was meant to be in the UK and even in my dreams i never see myself in Nigeria |
delors: Nonsense...you go fear creativity now |
na wa oh, so na till Wednesday |
Billyonaire: Nigeria is lawless, unplanned, and corrupt, these are basic known facts, we need you guys that know how the system should work to join PDP or APC and contest for elective position, that is how to change things from the inside, not by internet insults and curses of the country.yes and how the in the world do you propose that one does that |
i for one will do a runner but that's me, in any case things to consider, this person is now a stranger, because this is not the person you married ,it will be interesting however to hear from him why he left you at such a vulnerable time so please create an avenue to hear him out ,no need to shout and fight , you are there to listen . The lord is your strength honey , dont let him come and disrupt the momentum of progress that you have gathered since he went AWOL. May God strengthen you and direct your thoughts and actions |
If they were nt lacking, why didnt GEJ do His medical check up there?..Why did He have to come to London for check up? Why was Suntai flown Germany? Chime un koh ..Guy I know you love Nigeria but take sense do am..
Omo tier, ur way shall never be narrow , very valid question you've asked there |
Health status is a very crucial one for me , is there any condition that i should know about just so i know how to care for you |
truth be told Sudan is not exactly a holiday destination now is it ? regardless of how they treat all their fruit loops it is not exactly welcoming anybody right now. |
Grant, O Lord, that we may begin with holy fasting this campaign of Christian service, so that, as we take up battle against spiritual evils, we may be armed with weapons of self-restraint. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. |
oba009: pls where can i watch it life?http://www.itv.com/itv4/ |
dnawah: contact number pls,i don see wife o!lol!!!!!! |
the line of duty in a home is very thin right now , it all depends, i think there should be no status quo ,do what works for you in your home . the norm is for the man to take up major responsibilities in the home but again what if for some reason he is not able to ? does the home stop running ? what if for some reason the woman due to ill health is not able to perform her so called wifely duties, does the home stop running? the home is like a ship ,everybody pitches in to ensure smooth sailing, all hands on deck i beg . People go into a marriage thinking that there is a particular template for a successful home, there really isn't, what works for your friend might not work for you .DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU, YOUR UNION IS UNIQUE. |
i guess they would rather see their kids deformed and begging the rest of their lives |
this is a sweet story but Prophet Ariyo Ajibola of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Erimo in Ijaiye-Ojokoro, who drove the tricycle |
rokiatu: Who is that Clown?so he should smile about like a clown even when there is nothing to smile about |
it breaks my heart |
people are being careful, too much is happening these days , 2 eyes is now not enough , Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, personal visits, investigations in fact anything that can give an insight to someone's background should be used before anything like marriage is agreed . if an employer does background check before employing someone how much more a man giving his daughter out in marriage .i suspect that i will do worse when it comes to my child , i will hate to see my child go through heartbreak that could have been avoided |
well its slightly deviating from the thread but has anyone got a really close friend on close examination you realize that they have never spent a penny on you as in ever , not on your birthday not on impulse nothing!! but you somehow spend on them , now its not a matter of whether they have or not but however small, they just never ever seem to spend their money on you?? as in I've known her for years i mean years and i cant point to anything that i own that she has given me ever !! not even a card |
while it is good to dream in colour ,sometimes its good to take baby steps, cable cars are not suitable for mass transportation, trains are better and go faster .Fashola has a big vision for Lagos but there is such a thing as dreaming too big . got this from the TFL website Seating capacity per train 280 Standing capacity per train 547 Train capacity - six cars 827 can you imagine 827 at once and even more on the northern line , it could go up to 900 , that's a whole lot of passengers, and you can add carriages depending on the route , usage and time of day , so its flexible ,trains are needed desperately in Lag and it will make a whole lot of difference if they get it right |
the likelihood of this happening is roughly the same as the queen becoming a Muslim, why not focus on realistic goals for goodness sake |
fellis: ^That isn't just a theory. Black people are actually covertly being taught to believe that they are inferior mostly through the use of mass media. How many times have you actually seen any of these major foreign television stations potray Africa in a good light? It is always one depressing story or another. If they are not broadcasting news about the wars in some African countries then they are showing images or footage of starving and dying poor Africans. And what is the response when these so called foreigners portray us in bad light ? absolutely nothing , We cant wait for them to blow our trumpets , we have to blow it ourselves, there are a lot of high achieving Africans , a lot i say, but for some reason we dont hear of them , Mass media in Africa is absolute rubbish, so all we get are foreigners doing our PR for us,we let foreigners tell us about our own Africa , which is a shame. We need educative documentaries ,books, articles on the History and Beauty of Africa , travel programs, we need to invite people to experience the positive Africa , we need brand champions. Even the world is sick of the same old same old same stories emanating for the continent - war , corruption, epidemic, red cross |
the parts can be recycled for so many things ,one that comes to mind are the toilets which can become mobile toilets, one smart company should buy them really cheaply and convert them , surely it can be done http://weburbanist.com/2008/10/29/crazy-recycled-converted-airplanes-and-plane-parts/ |
