in Nov 2012 i decided that i needed to pay more attention to my health so i proceeded to my GP, there i was thinking i was hail and hearty , after a million tests they found out i had very high blood pressure and i was anemic. So all the headaches i had been getting was not because i wear glasses or because of work stress , it was my body screaming for me to pay attention to my blood pressure and the fact that i had become fond of ice , wasn't because i liked ice but it was because i was iron deficient and i had developed pica.
God bless the NHS and the taxes that i pay, immediately i was sent to do God knows how many blood tests,kidney test, MRI, ECG etc, to find out why my blood pressure was so high , they all came out ok.
They said give it another month , went back there , they said its still high , they did 24hr HBP monitoring, still high, i told them pls before i will have stroke put me on medication i beg and to God be the glory it has started coming down
This is how people drop dead , and you hear people saying but i just spoke to her ystdy so with that mind set, i headed to the dentist to report my Bleeding gums , i had ignored it long enough,i had a cavity that was developing, i got that filled ASAP before it becomes something else and i threw in scaling and polishing , switched to electric toothbrush, my gums are now OK .
My heavy period nko? i dumped that complaint on my GP's head, they prescribed something for that and its back to normal
My sexual health nko? went to the walk in center did HIV ,Syphilis,Chlamydia,Gonorrhea, tests came back all good

sometimes the body will tell you when something is wrong , we are either too busy doing something else to notice and take action or are just ignorant of the signs and symptoms of illness.

herquleez: In my opinion, the man represents the cadre of public office holders (unintelligent, stagnant, semi illiterate, unpresentable, shameful and of course no computer literacy)

This cuts accross many government parastatals (ministries, agencies and departments) where 'leg', quota system and corrution has deminished our standards to nothing.

An organization known as the Islamic Education and Research Academy (IERA) booked a room at University College London for a debate on Islam vs Atheism. ( meanwhile UCL is the uni the underwear bomber attended)
UCL was notified by some individuals planning to attend the event that the organizers intended to segregate the audience by gender.This was directly contrary to the policy of University College London which was founded in 1826 as a secular institution.it was the first university college in London to admit both men and women on equal merit, so this group was clearly on a long thing.

Like joke like joke despite instructions by UCL who made clear to the organizers that the event would be cancelled if there were any attempts to enforce such segregation, as people entered the venue for the debate ,they were told to use men’s or women’s entrances, they were also directed to where to sit clearly women at the back .

The segregation was halted only when one of the major speakers, US scientist Lawrence Krauss who was speaking for atheism , stormed out.

The organization has since been banned from UCL ,the world must stand up to beliefs that are clearly not taking us forward , discrimination on grounds of gender, race, religion or other irrelevant grounds must be refused at all cost.
