50calibre: I am an Igbo but to be honest, I'm now tired of these Igbo guys dragging the reputation of the tribe through the mud, it's getting out of hand. |
Hayjaycity: Make all of una dey deceive unaself dey go, while senators's, commissioners' and ministers' children and families are coming from abroad to take up jobs which they were not even interviewed for, you are here rehearsing on how to pass an interview, if you like ave d best answer for the above questions, a commissioner's child will take the job from you, wherther he applied for the job or not. They are all in the UK expecting appointment letters from nigeriayou see you are the type that keeps discouraging people who are silly enough to listen to you , that's how people keep talking about no jobs anywhere but people are getting jobs everyday , Nigeria sucks , yet people are still making it and are prepared to die there. My advice to people still struggling is this just always believe that your own case will be different, you are not other people , you are unique Stop disqualifying yourselves even before you are called for an interview |

jt2010: , you post is spot on except this Very Lengthy Resume.. For an engineering in an oil and gas industry, a resume of 2 pages shows u lack quality experience because you are expected to list in your resume all projects and activities you have done during the course of your job.a lengthy resume is only accepted when you are at the top of your career , which is why your CV should be interesting enough to get an invitation to talk more about your CV and elaborate further ,certain things on your CV , it is also a skill to be able to write concisely , short and straight to the point while capturing only crucial information |

T9ksy: Of course, everyone has that freedom (of speech) to tell a (their) story however that does not give them the right to distort historicalbut how are we sure he is distorting the story? i wasn't there(so i cant claim he is telling the truth or porkies) and i damn well i'm sure you weren't there, likewise a lot of people we are all acting and reacting based on what we have been told by most likely our parents or older members of the society who have also narrated based on THEIR OWN PERSPECTIVE. so who is to say what exactly is the truth. Most people have not even read the book they are only reacting based on what people are saying it implies unfortunately Nigeria has not been good at keeping historical records or are they conveniently hidden or destroyed |
Aigbofa: Ibos are whiners. It's been over 45 years and the story is still the same tired old Biafra rantings. Yorubas are communicative because they have evolved beyond your impulsive "act first and think later" attitude.very untrue, will you call those people who still RANT as you say about tired old slavery tales whiners , after all its only been how many years? everyone has the right to tell a story from his or her own perspective, the world would rather we forget significant parts of our history , easy for some but what about those people who lived it ? i think they should be allowed to express their opinions about significant events and if that expression is in form of a book then so be it |
The police should place a ransom , it wont take long , there will be confusion and before you know it ,one person wey know say that 1billion no go show, go just koba the rest and mama will be back home in time for xmas |
well my brother got married and wanted just 200 people and he achieved it, he had exactly 200 chairs and got a hall that could only accommodate that. When people called to confirm he explained it to them, he told them if they brought guests then they would have to sit on the floor. The wedding invite had an insert containing the menu so prior to the wedding he had them choose what they wanted to eat as in their wedding meal was pre-ordered.Table sittings was followed to the letter this made it easy to serve Result- VICTORY!!!! i couldn't believe it , it was so orderly, everyone got goody bags so if you came with who was not on the IV, not only will they have any sit, they will not eat and they will clearly stand out as havent not been invited. i couldn't blame him, he could only afford to cater for 200 people and he wasn't going to go broke feeding the nation just because he is getting married |

bibiking7: True talk. As a kid, i could not even spend money given to me by friends of my folks, either as a gift or for transport fare, without permission from my parents. And here we have grown men and women collecting stuffs from strangers in a country where kidnappings and ritual killings are rampant. SMH.same here , dem no born me well make i accept food or whatever without permission from my mum or dad, as in they don't even need to talk , they just give me the evil eye and i know what to say immediately , NO THANK YOU or else the house will not contain all of us when we get home. I really don't feel sorry for any victim of this crime , its just carelessness ,at some point it becomes silly to blame the govt for every single thing , we must at some point in our lives take responsibility for ourselves |
the mind boggles really, these men are bastards and should be punished but I think that when we can , our personal safety lies in our hands , i just don't understand how a total stranger can give you something and you consume it , if I understand correctly the victims are given this pure water by someone in the bus, apparently someone who is in on it , A TOTAL STRANGER , someone who supposedly doesn't want to forfeit his balance(now i don't know if the victims are charmed into accepting and drinking ) in any case ,one way or the other they drink it and blank out . one of the first lessons every parent teaches their children is do not talk or accept anything from strangers and even in the case of people that you know , you are warned to always say no thank you , I just cant understand how an adult who should know better can fall for this. even on a normal day without it being a scam , i wont even collect jack talk less of something edible from someone i don't know, even if I'm offered out of courtesy no matter how you insist, i might collect it out of courtesy but there is no way on earth I will eat or drink it. C'mon people , we have become too careless, these are desperate times, let us try to be aware of our surroundings and take extra care of ourselves, the Govt. really cant do everything , let us try to remember the good moral values that have been passed on from our parents and in turn pass it on to our children |
what is all this womanliness about , its called a Vagina please i dont get it, whats wrong with its real name, we are all adults , womanliness is just silly |
hobbies and referees Hobbies - unless it is something that presents you as a top team player, or highlights your passion for something like volunteering or fundraising etc , something outstanding that you do , then dont bother writing this on your CV if you are going to write the cliche , i like to read , make friends and travel Referees- the issue with referees is that its normal to ask for your referees whether you include it on your CV or not , so why include it at all and take up valuable space on your 2 page CV , moreso i'm not sure its right to include people's details on a document that only God knows where it will end up when you have not even been called for an interview Awards should never be left out , it presents you in a good light , it presents you as an achiever no matter how small it is, it tells the recruiter that you have been recognized for doing something . also very handy is any written acknowledgement it could be emails or certificates that you have received thanking you for a job well done from your boss or colleagues, anything to give the recruiter an insight as to how you are as a staff |

it is sooooooooooo irritating |
how do these people come up with these ideas for goodness sakes? , the mind boggles honestly , just how do they do it ? what leads up to the moment when they announce these sorts of daft ideas? do they brain storm ? or is it just one person sleeping and waking up one morning and feels the only thing lacking is the non proficiency in a foreign language , never mind the non existent infrastructure or the salary owed govt workers . They really make it hard to be patriotic in that country |
Zeus I: Every of presidential demand is proper, in fact jonathan has proven beyond reasonable rebuttal, the transparency of his administration. The members of National Assembly are yet to disclose their wages, besides, go and get something doing, for many opportunities are awaiting resurrection, but visual innovators are lacking, and all you do is complain. 'Stop finding faults and start finding remedies'*exit*i really haven't got any business finding remedies to a country that's terminally ill, we r in fact heading for the hospice, besides i only asked a very simple question , to which if you dont have an answer kindly ignore |

oyinbo people are funny , i used to work at a gambling place during my uni years , so mgt brought in one 20yr old boy to be our oga, we were very pissed as some us had worked for years and knew a lot more than he would know, they said he was outspoken, this and that and of course he was British, they were so convinced that he was what the store needed. so on one faithful day we resumed work ah ah where is oga to open the store ? no show, they called his number, nothing, can you believe that the area mgr now decided to go to his house and the boy was dozing according to his mum, he went out the night b4, he didn't even show face , he sent his mum to give the area mgr the key to the store, of course he never came back . Well they offered me the position , i accepted it nicely and scrammed 2mths later , me wey don dey find another job tey tey |
you should take it at least 4 times yr in my opinion , we are exposed in a number of ways for eg When a person is exposed to needles that are contaminated with HIV-infected blood in the process of injecting drugs, syringes, razor blades or other sharp instruments like needles at the hairdressers, we ladies have been pricked uncountable times at the hair salon, the same needles used on a million other customers, do you know their HIV status?? Unsterilized or dirty razors, knives, or other instruments are used during cultural practices such as circumcision, scarification, tribal marking, tattooing |
of course |
