Oganenigu Ward in Kogi State comprising of many villages is currently Under attack by dreaded Fulani Herdsmen.
This continue repeating year in year out. From the look of things, this is the worse so far compare to past attacks.
We're yet to receive any back from Kogi State Government and three local securities who have been trying to restore peace has been shot dead. Many has been killed, homes burnt down.
Many have been displaced and forced to move to neighbouring villages for safety.
We Call on Kogi State Government and we'll meaning Nigerians to come to our aid as this is becoming terrifying and unbearable for my people.
The sound of the gun shots doesn't even sound local, as they sound like sophisticated weapons.
The question is, who are their sponsors?
Pray for my Community 🙏
But Nnamdi Kanu say make una invite ESN una no gree. Well I am not mocking you, but it's strange how full fledged men would sit back a watch themselves slaughtered by some idiots

Yeah you're right. Though the baby oku instance is very unrealistic because no average man will wife such a woman. I'm talking about a regular girl. Who needs to be appreciated by her man normally.
Well, no make the mistake ooo. Every girl is a good girl until you wed her. Marriage no be boyfriend girl friend... All those jubilations when you engage them, you think they are happy for you. They are just happy that one goat is trapped. Immediately, after wedding you will start seeing responsibilities and only and good and financially educated woman will manage your resources without sentiments. Other so called good girls waste your money on irrelevant things or even on there own family. No amount of money is good enough... Because the higher you go the standard you will meet.

Just have a high stable income and business on the side that will be generating steady income. this will require hardwork which is why I said young guys should strive to build their finance to a reasonable level and invest before going into marriage.
Well to an extent you are correct, you just have to earn 5 times above minimum wage in a month and Cut Your Coat and accordingly. Nigeria uses minimum wage to cheat her citizens. A minimum wage that cannot buy one bag of rice is that one a minimum wage?

But the most important is to cut your coat accordingly... If you marry baby oku, even if you earn 1m a month she will tell you her friend uses 1m on her hair every month.

I'm not being negative but realistic. Don't get me wrong.

Marriage can only be sweet when there's enough money to meet your needs. I don't know if that's what your definition of " thriving" is. A situation where it's "thriving" in lack of funds or not enough, just know that it's endurance. Many are smiling in the face of adversity hardship and hope against hope.

Again, I'm not being negative.
May I ask you, how much money is enough money in marriage? I have seen couple who earns very well and yet have financial problems and I have also seen couples who sells kiosk and taxi driving living happily as if the world belongs to them. I no come understand.

lhordspy:
Maybe we should leave political sentiment asides. We all know Peter Obi made some extreme religious political moves during the presidential campaign period by manipulating, exploiting and exploring our religious diversity to his own advantage. But the thing is no matter how interesting the latest finding is and no matter how fulfilling it is for we the progressives. I think it is time we start asking questions about the supposedly 'exclusive-findings' of gazetteNGR of recent. With this latest one clearly violating the section 37 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of N8geria which state that:

''The privacy of citizens, their homes, correspondence, telephone conversations and telegraphic communications is hereby guaranteed and protected.''

Even though i dont know how these things work entirely. But i have seen some crime movies (for example: TheWire, Sopranos, Power etc) where even the law enforcement agents/agency will have to acquire something like a court-warrant or court permission with enough reasons; a very convincing motives, to be able to secretly wiretap phonecalls of a criminal or any other person during investigation. You have to convince a judge to the fullest before the warrant or permission is granted. Failure to secure the warrant and going ahead to carry out the action make it illegal, a crime with serious consequences which also render the voice-conversation gotten from such unauthorised secret-wiretap inadmissible in court as an evidence.

I think the labour party camp should drag gazetteNGR to court and whoever published that voice conversation should be made to testify as to the real source of the wiretap under oath. Somebody need to start paying for these illegal acts carried out all in the name of investigative journalism. We cant keep operating as a lawless country.

Today it is Peter Obi, it can be anyone tomorrow. I don't even feel safe making phonecalls anymore.
Even IPOB knows you shouldn't be making an informal calls with Nigerian telecom. Whatsapp and Signal calls are more secured. PO take note... Tinubu makes calls with encrypted internet links... Employ good IT guys for your security.

Please security agencies should take note.

Igbo chiefs vows to invite IPOB to Lagos to protect them!!! Wow
Well this is not a good speech but speech made out of anger.

If I was the leader, the right speech is... We the igbo traders in Lagos now feel threatened and unsafe in Lagos. Our businesses are been attacked and our lives threatened yet both the Lagos government and the police did nothing or arrested anyone. As a leader of the igbo market and traders, it is my responsibility to defend the igbo race at times like this and if I don't get any good response from the police or Lagos government, we don't have any other choice than to defend ourselves. We shall form our own security outfits or invite the Eastern security network. If there is any reason why the Lagos government don't want us to reside in Lagos, they should put it up legally and if the federal government of Nigeria decides that everyone should go back to his state of origin, we shall abide but using touts and hooligans to frustrate our businesses and lives will no longer be tolerated, I rise.

If Lagos don tire you, go back to alaigbo to do business and live in peace there.. Nobidy is forcing you to remain in Lagos.

If Yoruba chiefs and royal fathers too decide to give the instruction that no Yoruba son and daughter should patronize Igbo owned businesses and shops again in South West. I hope this nincompoop talking in the video knows it's over for Igbos in Lagos.

Where are our great physicist, calculate the speed at which they certificate collectors and INEC applied
Force = Ma. Speed = Distance / time.

The time was 11am and both Manhood and Mbah applied a force of 100N to take off from the building and it took them just 10s to rush out to a distance of 2km away from the building. Therefore the speed of taking of is 2000m/10s = 200m/s

Therefore both the inec manhood and Mbah speed is 200m/s and this kind of speed is likely to beat Usain bolt in the 100m hurdles.

ozalogbo:
I am the first child of my mother, and I have two younger male siblings. I am doing well financially. My wife is the last of four children in her family. My dad died when I was still in the university, and this affected my mum.

However, as she aged, her health waned. She was a retired teacher. My brothers are not in the country. Both of them are in Europe. I wanted to have my mother stay with me in her later years because of her health and loneliness but my wife did not want it.

Whenever she was ill and I brought her home to be with us, my wife was usually hostile, especially if my mum had stayed beyond a week. She did not hid her disapproval, and this caused problems in the marriage. People advised that I should send my mum away and pay someone to live with her and take care of her. They said that marriage was between a man and his wife, not between a man, his wife, and his mother. I did and peace returned. Eventually my mum passed on after a few years.

Along the line, my father in law also died. And down the line, my mother in law's health began to deteriorate. We live in the same town. Among my wife's siblings she is the only one doing quite well. Now there are suggestions that the mother should come and live with us so that my wife can give her proper care. I believe that her living with us and seeing her grandchildren will help her. And indeed i have no problem accepting her, but when i remember the treatment my wife gave to my mum, there is a strong revulsion, in fact, anger in me. I shared with a friend, and he advised i forgive my wife, but the revulsion is so strong that i would feel cheated if i agreed.

What do you guys think. She reminded me then that marriage was between a man and his wife only. Shouldn't this also apply to my wife now?
OH you want to hear our thought, ok lets keep thoughting. There is a reason Old testament was not removed in the Bible if not, Israel would have been a forgotten country.

Romance › Re: My Landlady Issued Me A Quit Notice For Hosting A Female Friend by occfx: 4:13pm On Mar 27, 2023
ForG:
I moved into this apartment about two weeks ago. Mini flat, only myself, excellent neighbourhood; I'm constantly indoors and not social.

But the landlady has been a pest so far.

The property has three tenants, but only one has been there for over a year.
The renter I replaced still works for her today, but quit the house only after a year.

The longest-tenured tenant (five years, married man with kids) warned me about her before I moved in. That she meddled in the affairs of her tenants. He is also desperate to leave the house this year.

Under the pretext of protection, she herself told me that she routinely informs her tenants' families of every move they make.

Today, the camel's back broke.

A female acquaintance of mine recently stayed with me for some days.
The landlady took offence and informed me that she does not want any female visitors except a known girlfriend.

Before relocating, she had also said that she did not want much male visitors in order to avoid disruptive behaviour. Made sense to me security-wise.
Wasn't a problem since I don't have male friends.

The next day, I saw her and informed her that an animal was running in the roof, as well as other anomalies I had noticed in the apartment.
She said that it seemed I was dissatisfied with the home and that she would provide a full refund without delay.

I made certain to inquire whether the prohibition on female visitors was on security grounds, but she said that the residence was a Christian home where everyone must be family, notwithstanding the fact that the tenant before me was a muslim.

Today, my agent came on my door and informed me that the landlady had complained to him. We subsequently met with the landlady, who once again threatened a complete refund.
She continued by saying that I am too young to have female companions because they would destroy my life.

I'm 23.

This evening I took the decision to collect the refund, cut my losses on the agreement and commission, and look for a new flat in the vicinity.

I had only heard rumours, but I had no idea such toxic home owners exist. The husband of over 33 years is pretty laid-back and even made a joke about my bringing a female acquaintance around to my guarantor.

The wife on the other hand is hell's fury.
I don't think you said everything... Talk true do you bang loud? I bang loud and my position is always slapping the ass and making the sound of clap so loud that neighbors must know something is happening here and it's not something a sex starved person can withstand on the long run. It's good you make a decision on time, move to where you can have peace of mind

Right now, Yorubas and Fulanis are one because they are fighting a common fight against igbos. Any day igbos exit, they will become enemies.
