Please I need a professional writer who can help me draft quality statement of purpose, work history and other relevant write ups.

I will provide all the background info required.

I will do the final reviews and clean up. This is for a fee.

Please DM me if you are interested.

P.S. I will test your ability to write.
Hi Olowoba,

I think it is better you work on this yourself as your statement of purpose has to be your original work as it is your own story so you are in the best position to draft this becuase you have to own it.

The Statement of purpose i have come to realise is a very important document that the Visa Officer reviews very closely to have an overall view of you so i think you should take your time to do this yourself and when done you can private chat any of the gurus in the house to help you review it for you and look for possible loopholes for you to work on so you can finalise on a quality SOP,i will advise you not to rush this part and take your time till you can convince yourself that your SOP is good to go.

All the very best.

I appreciate the feedback.

Please which of the attached pictures is the Biometrics confirmation slip to be included when dispatching ones passport to VFS?
Hi Ayobami,

Your biometric confirmation slip is a long slip given to you when you went for your biometrics, see sample picture on this page 495 in @adwal2020: response to you.

Congrats again and all the best.

Hello Guys

Please I need your help. So I got my PPR a few days back and I will like to seek clarification.

1. Can I take my passport in-person to VFS office in Lekki where I registered my biometrics instead of using courier? Plus am I going to be charged for delivery when I drop my passport?

2. If I will be charged, I will appreciate anyone can tell me how much I should take along with me.

I have attached a screenshot of my application timeline for anyone interested.

Thanks!
I think you will have to use a courier, i know DHL is very reliable and you would be able to track the movement of your passport realtime. You can pay addtional charge for insurance of your passort with the courier if you are concerned about the safety of your passprt but i am sure your passport will be well handled.

Thanks Subomi.

It becomes worrisome when biometrics is done but no update till date.

When was your application submitted.
Hi MzMisty, I understand, I did my biometrics on the 12th Oct and it reflected on same day on my IRCC account with my biometrics number. Althiugh the narration still reads " We need your fingerprints". Dont worry you are not alone on this. lets just wait for them to do their review. Give it few days and lets see.

Thats what i think except the gurus in the house have a contrary view.

It will end in praise.

Hi all, good morning.

Please if you applied for study permit between first week of October and now, lets connect and keep ourselves informed. I applied on the 4th of oct and did biometrics on the 19th which was uploaded same day, but my eligibility review has not started. I am really bothered about this and just want to know if I am alone in this or it is just the normal timeline being followed...
You are not alone bro, i applied same day with you and having the same status. Fingers crossed. It will end in praise.

Pending when the gurus in the house responds, from my experience, i think you should use your boss or former employer or a senior lecturer in your university to put weight to your application. Yes you can use a friend if the person had a professional association with you like a colleague in the workplace.

I wish you success in your application.

Yes they have sent me appointment confirmation date and time with reference number
They also added instructions for payments to their standard bank account

Hope that validates the appointment

Also ,I don’t know if I should make the payment online or go to standard bank( very scare here)

Thanks
Yes Silvamania, their confirmation e-mail to you validates the appointment but you would need to make payment and yes you can make an online transfer.

Just to add that when you get to IOM, there is a security that stays at the entrance gate calling names of applicant in accordance to their appointed time so try to be there early for your appointed time. Please dont forget to take along with you evidence of online payment, your international passport and facemask. ( You can have handy maybe on your phone the confirmation e-mail from IOM, not required but just have it handy)

and to your earlier question, the date confirmed to you by IOM by e-mail is your appointed date.

The whole exercise does not take too long, you should be done within 3 hours when you enter the health facility ( may not be up to that) just make sure you are healthy and full of strength

All the very best.

Thanks Olasubomy

What am saying is that I have booked an appointment online with IOM for November 4th

But , another message prior to that booking was that the next available date is November 19th upward

So I don’t know which of the two is valid or what to do next
Hi Sivamania,

ooh Apologies, i guess i did not get you right before. Please can i ask, has IOM sent you an appointment confirmation date yet? Have you made any payment already?

Good day everybody,

Am trying to book an upfront medical . Sent mail to IOM and Qlife. They both responded today that the earliest possible date is November 19th, and I should reply with some documents to secure my space .

But have already successfully booked an appointment online with IOM Ikeja for November 4th 10:00am

I don’t know which one is valid now cause I don’t understand them.

Thank you
Hello Salvamania,

Both panel of physicians are okay depending on your route. If you elect to use IOM IKeja please send an mail to iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int to book your appointment. They respond to mails. You might not be able to reach them on the phone lines now, i gues due to COVID.
They will respond to your e-mail with instructions on the next step. Please once they have confirmed your appointment date. Make your payment in earnest and go there with your evidence of payment, face mask and copy of your international passport.

From my experience with them, they are swift in sending result to the embassy.

It will end in praise.

Thank you so much. If I may ask, how much did you pay? I just called Qlink they said fee is 35k, the next available date is 4th november and I have to book it. I tried IOM's number its switched off
I paid 46,500 naira thats becuase i fall into the category of age range 15 years and above.

You might not be able to get them on phone, i also found it difficult gettting them on phone maybe due to the fact most staff are working from home but they respond to e-mails.

Send an e-mail to IOM Lagos Medical Booking <iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int> and they will respond.

All the best.

Good evening everyone.
I'm just about collating my documents to apply for my study permit online and I would like to do upfront medicals. Does anyone know if there's any document I'm to carry along since there's no medical request from with me yet.
Also I stay in ikorodu, if anyone can direct me to the one nearest to me I would appreciate it.
I checked online and saw there are centers in ikeja and VI but I dont know what buses to enter to get there
I did mine at IOM Migration Health Assessment Center.

The medical center is at No 1 Isaac John, Ikeja and this is not far from Maryland round about. If you are entering a bus, just tell the conductor you are going to Isaac John in Ikeja. i think the next 2 bus top. you will have to drop and cross to the other side of the road into Isaac john. You will do a little bit of walking but not too long.

It is along the road and the first building you will see on that street. NOTE: If you choose to use IOM,make sure you make your payment before you go there and go with your international passport and evidence of payment and face mask. From my experience, they are fast in sending medical result to the embassy.

There is another medical center Qlife family clinic at VI which is cheaper but i can only speak of IOM.

Hope this information helps.

If its the VFS (VAC) LAGOS OFFICE (LEKKI) you gonna be doing your Biometrics,
make sure u
print those documents mentioned in your area before going to the VFS Center, cos if u don't ,u would be left with no choice than to print it at an outrageous amount at the center

Thank you @chocs and @Lekkibobae.

Thanks for the clarification, it is good to know that the one in Abuja is very timely.

@ Lekkibobae - i checked the link you shared but not clear about the conversation. you were advising we pick a later time. i picked for 9:20am and i intend to be at VI on that day for 6:30 am and drive to the venue around 7am. I hope i wont be too early or what do you advise on the right time to get there?

2) How do i locate the place from 3rd round about easily?

Goodday y’all..i received a letter saying my statement of account is fraudulent (Which ais mot true)and was given a period of time to reply to this misrepresentation.. any advice on what to do and go about it?
Tobyy, Can you try get another copy of the statement from your bank with the same period with a reference letter from the bank backing it up, please use that as a proof to support your evidence as you respond to them.

If the bank statement you submited is genuinue, the best is to liase with your bank to have a strong response, i am sure the embassy will contact the bank for confirmation.

Thats my thought, the gurus in the house may have a better option.

All the very best.

Good morning gurus and Egbons in the house.

I have a specific question regarding filling the IMM1294. There is a section that ask if you have ever taking any english test to test your proficiency in english in a desginated testing agency? Click (YES/NO).

Please am i to click Yes or No considering that Nigeria is an English speaking country ? Your though please?

For those who have gone through this process successfully, how did you answer the above?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by olasubomy: 8:37pm On Sep 12, 2020
Good evening All,
Please i need your advice on home ties issue as regards employment prospects in my home country

Let me try to summarize my question thus; I am currently working with a company which has issued letter of reference.

it was easy getting a letter of reference because this is only handled by HR. so my boss, CFO and my department colleagues are not in the know of my plans.

Now my concerns is study leave letter, to get this letter, this will have to come to the knowledge of my boss and CFO and from past experience about the internal structure of the company, they are not likely to approve, infact , i would be seen as a flight risk as someone that would resign anytime from now which wont be good for my career while still working there. My intention is to break the news to my department when study leave approval has been granted, which is the ideal thing to do.

What do i do about the fact that it would be near impossible to get a study leave letter in my present employment. How do i take care of that part? I have already made moves to get a study leave letter from my dads friends accounting firm to state that i would resuming there immediately after my studies and they have granted approval for me to proceed for my MBA.

Seeing through the eyes of the VO and from your experience, whats your thought sirs and Ma and what i can do to convince the VO? Please note that getting it from my office is already not an option based on reasons above.

I would sincerely appreciate your guidance.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by olasubomy: 10:29am On Sep 07, 2020
@Naijaforeigner - Please i have a further question to the clarification you just made to lord AA and this question is also open to anyone that wants to contribute.

I guess i need to refill my form IMM1294, i filled tuition for the 2 years in space for tuition and i also filled the exact balance in my sponsors bank statement ( Luckily i have not yet submitted my application, still gathering documents).

1) So my question is by what variation do i put as funds available for my stay lets say for instance what my parents has now is money for the first year which is maybe 11m and i intend to show valuation report of landed properties worth about 40m that is 11m + 40m = 51m ( as an example) to proof i can sustain myself throughout the duration of the programme.

How much can i put as funds available for my stay with just 11m sitting as liquid fund in the account to convince the Visa officers?.

2) Just for me to understand the process clearly, why is it only the first year tuition one has to put in the space for tuition and not the two years?

Good evening everyone,

I trust you are good and had a great day.

Please i need useful tips on what i can lay claim on to make my home ties argument stronger?

1, Please just to add that i don't have a landed property yet,

2, I cannot get a study leave letter from my current place of work because this would raise eyebrow and they might not approve and i would be seen as a flight risk although, i have gotten a reference letter from them already which i think its enough not to raise suspicion.

I intend doing the below thus;

1, Get Pension account statement and reference letter.

2, Get a letter of attestation and that they are expecting me to resume after my studies from my dad's friends audit firm.

3, Majority of my family including my parents are here in Nigeria except my sister who is living in Dubai due to the nature of her job (air hostess)

Please what do you guys think, will any point above harm my applications and suggestions on more tips please?

Thanks in advance.
