This is not a matter of advantage and disadvantage. Haba. Who is she to play God. So she tells the man she sent it through and then what? Keep a lie for the rest of their marriage. She is not only a bad wife but also a bad person. She cannot make a decision to tie this man to her and yet hold back information that can alter the course of his life. She is just a horrible person. I really hope it is not too late for her to send those papers in. Advice her to either turn those papers in or to tell her husband that she is not doing it. let him make his own decision on if he will stay with her ass or not

KnowAll:
Thank God the riggers gave her 1 vote what if they gave her zero vote, forgetting that she would have to vote for herself that would have scuttle the whole elections.
If it was anywhere else but Nigeria I would said what the heck are you talking about but this is Nigeria for you. They gave her the one vote because they figured that people will ask where is her own vote. They know Nigerians well enough to know that the idea that she got only one vote will not make anybody talk for too long. Nigeria deserves the leaders she has. That is all I have to say. When things like this happen is when people should talk but everybody is more interested in laughing and making fun. Injustice and lawlessness is the now normal. It's the little things that count. When Yerima molested a child they found enough women to fill a bus and go to aso rock to defend the man. He still retains a seat. In Nigeria honesty and integrity is never applauded. Dedication and social awareness is a joke. And a woman trying to do something noble will be knocked down because she did not carry her self well or her underwear was showing or the most ridiculous of all "her children should talk to her". Na wa.
Family › Re: Pregnancy And Agression by Outstrip(f): 11:57pm On Feb 05, 2011
I remember when I was pregnant with my first son. It came with very bad back pain. My sciatic never would shoot pain into my leg and I would have painful spasms. I stayed on my feet at work because sitting made it worse. The only thing that could fix it was lying on my left side on a firm mattress. I remember coming in from work one day and basically limping into the house and my husband looked at me and said "you don't even smile anymore". I was thinking if only I could run right now you will see all my teeth for sure grin grin grin

When Mummy was called to canvass for vote. She was busy campaigning for Jonathan and extolling the virtues of Obasanjo. I never expected her to vote for her self the way she took the stage as if she is leading a riot in a polytechnic.

This is not a gender issue, mama can not deliver if we entrust the nation in her hands. Only cabals would be in charge again.

- My Opinion
Actually it is a gender issue for you. Why do you keep referring to her as mummy or mama. Did she give birth to you? Do you refer to Fashola as Daddy or GEJ as Papa?

How much worse can it get for women. I would vote just to make a point. Absolutely. The way you sound is almost like you know her personally. Voting for her simply because of her ability to lactate. The fact that you admit that she got beat out probably because she is female in a male dominated arena but then in the same breath make fun of her even doing what she is doing shows that you are not a part of the solution. Just my opinion.
Politics › Re: Sarah Jibril: “my One Vote Will Continue To Haunt Nigerian Women” by Outstrip(f): 6:01am On Feb 05, 2011
Did I say that? You picked Clinton and Palin as your examples. Many women voted for them simply because they were women. Many black women voted for Hilary over Obama. If she had 3 votes I would say Nigerian women are about something but not even one. I am willing to bet it is because women in Nigeria do not want to do anything about issues that matter to women. They just want to sit down and cry about how it is a mans world and they have no choice but to live in it. I would have voted for this woman just to make a point. I know she would not win but I would have voted for her. The one vote she got is not something for you to smirk about. As a woman it should make you ask questions. I think what she is doing is commendable. I am just a little irritated that women are the ones mocking her the most

I would be pissed too. Nigerian women like to take a back seat to everything. I am glad she is making noise. If she had 10 votes I bet you they would have been from men. It would even be Nigerian women who would be more interested in tearing her down

shotster50 you are very annoying and that's just putting it mildly. Do you want pictures of Nigerians doing the same things if not worse or do you think it does not exist? Please stop making a fool of yourself
Nairaland General › Re: Confusion Over Self-confessed Witch by Outstrip(f): 5:06pm On Feb 02, 2011
This is so sad. People are so freaking ignorant and the Nigerian police is the worst of the lot. Take this woman to a psychiatric hospital. She obviously has a mental problem. This is so sad and embarrassing. Nigerians should be ashamed that a sick person is suffering and everybody thinks it's a show. That is how people saw a beached whale at the beach in Lagos and claimed that it was a sign of the end times. Get treatment for this woman. With proper medication she can leave a normal life.
Culture › Re: Disrespecting And Insulting Elders Is Very Unafrican And Gutter Behaviour by Outstrip(f): 1:38am On Feb 02, 2011
I grew up for the most part in Nigeria so I guess I am "qualified" (in your opinion) to speak here. Tpiah this question is for you. What is your definition of this respect. I will definitely raise my kids to speak up for themselves and I don't care if it is to a 60 year old. I get the feeling that respect to you  means always letting an older person be of the opinion that they are right simply because they were born first. We have an abundance of those kinds of people in Nigeria. Maybe that is our problem. When you have a collective bunch of people that do not earn the accolades they get then we have people who will never learn or improve. Someone rightly said what does the age of Methuselah have to do with the wisdom of solomon? We are so drunk with this mentality in Nigeria that young people are never given a chance. Things are so stagnant and the customs are culture do nt give way for fresh new ideas.
You will hear people in office (in power as we often say in Nigeria) use language like "look at this small boy" or "do you think I am your mate?" LOL. Please abeg. I don't want to get you worked up. I just want you to see that being older should not automatically make you feel that you are entitled to respect. Let us teach our kids to respect their elders but it does not mean that an agbaya is not an agbaya
Culture › Re: Disrespecting And Insulting Elders Is Very Unafrican And Gutter Behaviour by Outstrip(f): 1:06am On Feb 02, 2011
Elderly in my opinion is like 60 years old. A 25 year old and a 30 year old in your example probably best explains why young people are just so over this you must respect me deal because I was born first. Respect is earned abeg. I still think we should raise our children to always respect their elders but I wish someone would also educate elders on the dangers of being an agbaya LOL

I don't think it is fair to jump to conclusions and label this woman. I personally thought she married too soon but she is a young woman with children. I am sure there were many lonely nights for her. She had a good marriage until she lost her husband. Even now she still talks very fondly of him. i will not classify her as a wayward person. Her children will always come first and any man who comes in the picture will need to be supportive of that. I wish her well. I hope she takes her time this time

Prince onx you are right. Selling used cars here in the states can be lucrative if you know what you are doing. You do not even have to have a lot though that's probably the way I would do it if I was into that.
