The funniest part is that people believe that all those children are really his. |
There should be laws specifically for parents who consent to their children being sold. Serious jail time. They have lost their right to be treated like human beings when they do such evil. |
You can tell from this picture that she is not as light as the other one. Even JayZ is lighter here. It has to do with the lighting. The only thing that is very obvious is that she lost a lot of weight |
She is not bleaching. It is obvious that there is a lot of light in the photos. Everybody lightens up in the winter. I don't see how this picture makes her look like she is bleaching. Also she is not pregnant. Her mother already said that was not true months ago |
olas2u:Really? Are you serious? He should play dumb and his wife play "smart" and then tomorrow you will tell him to be man of the house. @ poster you need to call your uncle ASAP and let him know that the next time his 1.5 inch pneis gets hard thinking about your wife you will cut if off. Play dumb indeed. Listen to yourself. It sounds like you are young so your wife is probably young also. Do you think this uncle of yours will be the last man that will offer your wife things. You are not even in the country. If you wimp out of this one you will show your wife that you are weak. You should be her protector. It is stressful enough that you are gone but to have to now learn Judo to protect herself from your uncles p.enis is just crazy. |
duduspace:No police officer (unless he is interested in breaking the law) can ask a man to leave the house he lives in if it appears the woman is making up stuff. I know someone who even found out that her husband was shopping for ways to kill someone and that was not enough to ask the man to leave. There is a reason these laws are made and they were made out of a need to have them. Society realized that certain groups of people need to be protected. |
duduspace:He is not the one sending his mother to jail. She is the one sending herself to jail. I am pretty sure that she is in jail praying and fasting and saying this is the work of the devil rather than face reality and be a good mother. As for disowning the boy, maybe that's better. Let them disown him and then sit back and watch him reach his full potential without their bullying. |
They should not even fee her in jail. She should get it kirikiri style. The height of ignorance |
LOL. You girls are crazy |
jennykadry:There is no such thing as too much nacking. LOL. Really though on the wedding night the man needs to be ready to throw down like a pro. The bride should be beaming from ear to ear in the morning. Ok the groom too but mainly the bride |
What a tragedy. That poor baby will never feel her mothers arms around her again. When she cries for breast milk tonight she will not get it. She will never again feel the comfort of her mothers heartbeat when she breastfeeds. No mommy to wipe her tears. No mommy to advice her and show her how to cope with life and be an upstanding citizen. Shame on the Nigerian police force. This man will never hide from justice. If not in this life then in the other. God does not reward evil. He will pay. May her soul rest in peace and may God comfort her loved ones. |
Dont shout. Relax. What I mean is, worse happens else where. You can bash Nigeria from now till tomorrow. I will not stop you, MonkeyLeg. LOL. There is no "proper" judicial system anywhere. Noone is saying Naija is perfect, but, hey - worse happens elsewhere. Monkey.
Worse happens where? Any of the places you will mention should make you ashamed. When the only people you can compare yourself to in defense of yourself are losers and low lives then you need to re examine yourself. Show one case of anybody being held without trial for 15 years in a civilized country. This is why Nigeria will continue to be mediocre. If your child is failing in school will you find excuses or will you work hard to make sure those grades go up. If you don't expect a lot for yourself then there will not be room for improvement. |
r231:Your wife must be an angel. I would have undrunked that penis that day. A whole wedding night? No excuse ![]() |
Are we saying that no member of her church were aware of this or that no one even knew at the very least that that child was not going to school. I still believe that if it was left to african slavery will still be alive and well. The white man has not done one quarter of what africans have done and are still doing when it comes to enslaving their fellow man |
It was quite obvious he did not mean it the way people interpreted it |
How in the world did Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala not make that list. Onyeka Onwenu should also be on that list. |
I hope she reads the Bible she preaches from because it says that it is better that a millstone be tied around her neck and she be thrown into the sea. That is the punishment God wishes for people who abuse children |
Please snap of it. What the hell. When you should be helping your children face reality and move on you are allowing them drown in the pain. Still loving him indeed |
I feel bad for you but I think you can overcome this. If you were outside of Nigeria I would have requested you see a therapist. Everybody has a different level of absorbing traumatic events. It seems that you are a very emotional person even though you will not admit it. I also feel like you might have issues dealing with anxiety. You simply have to learn to cope with your stress. Stress can definitely make it impossible to keep up with life. I have been there. The only thing that got me out of that situation was me making this conscious effort that come hell or high water I have to learn to cope to achieve the goals I set for myself. I did. I still have those moments but I have learned how to handle stressful situations. I think you have to work on yourself first before you can work on your siblings. You have one more year of school to go and my suggestion is that you finish school and let your siblings work while you are finishing. No kind of work is too small. The idea that they might be embarrassed by what their friends will say is ridiculous. Why should that be your stress? They are the ones that need to take responsibility for themselves. When you are done in school and you are able to then you can help out. It is not your responsibility to treat other adults as your dependents. Siblings or not. What is not really clear to me is if you guys are still in the expensive school. If so why are you still there. Is there an option to transfer to a public university or if not then maybe you guys will have to go one at a time with you going first and the rest working to support the other. There are other options besides you with one year to go quitting now. |
jennykadry:LOL. Heck no. He says it will make him fat and it is high in cholesterol. Every once in a while he will though but it is rare. I think it would be different if we were in Nigeria. Maybe if it is the actual pounded yam that is pounded rather than the processed one we do on the stove he might think differently. He is very conscious of everything he eats. In fact he is proud when he goes to work and skips lunch and just snacks on peanuts. He takes a lot of pride in keeping fit. |
I really commend. Standing up for yourself might be painful but sometimes it is necessary. These animals need to know that people will not just turn themselves into their slaves out of fear. The state of things in Nigeria is so oppressive. The only way they will let you live in peace is if you agree to be their dog. I wish her well |
Asli rice? I wonder if I can find that in the US. I do my cooking on Tuesdays. Stews, jollof rice, pasta and sometimes fried rice. I also make Lasagna but I don't do that from scratch. My boys love pasta or anything saucy so to them pounded yam with tonnes of soup is like dinner in a 5 star restaurant. You can also buy white yams(sweet potatoes) and slice them ready to fry, put them in ziploc bags and freeze them or if you are going to use it within a day or two you can leave them in the regular referigerator. You can make your garden egg sauce too and it will stay for 2 or 3 days. My husband eats anything he sees and it is not even unusual for him to eat something else. He is a good cook too so I am not the only cook in the home. It makes things easier for my me because I don't worry that the boys do not have a balanced diet just because I am working or something. You can also make things like meatpie because if you are running late for anything you can just throw a meatpie at them to entertain themselves until everything else is ready. I used to bake and when I started gaining weight and nobody else was I finally admitted that I was baking the cakes for myself. LOL. Find healthy alternatives to home cooked foods and have healthy snacks available. It's also great to eat out once in a while. At the end of the day soups and stews are your best friend. |
LOL @ Ujujoan. What the heck are you insinuating. okpo. I just talked to him in plain language. The long term effects of him not doing it versus not doing it. No dramatics. I believe in being realistic and taking control of life not letting life take control of you I think she should let the man come here and then we will see. He sounds like a smart and hardworking person. So it is safe to say that when he comes here and see how it is he will adjust accordingly. I am glad she sent the documents. She would have regretted her decision had she not sent it. I had a friend who actually brought her husband from Nigeria and she was really nervous that he will come here and seeing her salary would not understand what it takes to make a dollar. The man came here and shocked everybody. I don't think she could have found a better husband if she created him herself. Let's not play God abeg |
pslm23:Awwwww. I vaguely remember this. Don't you tap on the floor when you do this. I definitely remember it being sung for babies or little kids. So precious |
chaircover:Me too I thought I needed help. LOL. I think she had a D&C and maybe she is supposed to bleed after the procedure. @ poster you should be asking a doctor preferably the one who did the procedure. I had a D&C once but it was after a miscarriage so I was already bleeding before the procedure. I don't know if it would be the same situation with yours. Please get to the bottom of it. If the procedure is not done correctly you know what the repercussions can be. Good luck. I hope this is not some sick joke sha by some jobless nairalander |
So the man has never seen his child? I actually pity him. Honestly eh communication is key |
Ujujoan:Not really. A friend of mine just called me and asked me to talk to her husband about going to school. I know the guy well though. My friend felt I could convince him since he likes me. It worked and he is making plans to go to school. You have no idea how she might have presented it to the man |
What do you mean by fufilled all their wishes for money and gifts? So they call you and ask you for money and gifts and you just send it? |
You really should not be stressing yourself right now. I don't like this guy. Don't let him back. He might be an armed robber for all you know. My cousin had a driver too that stole little things here and there. Finally he just left with the car and did not come back. When she finally tracked him down with the police in tow they found all kinds of things in his home including fake police uniforms and equipment for making fake police identification. My cousin was not comfortable with him from the beginning but she was desperate for a driver. My dear please thank God that he opened your eyes now. I am also willing to bet that his wife did not have a miscarriage. He is probably not even married. |
Your mothers first and last name that she went with at the time might be helpful. Someone that knew your dad at the time might recognize the name and contact your dad. You should be about 20 now. A lot of things could have happened in 20 years. I wish you well. If you ever find him let us know |
A lot of people crave ice. I could not stand the smell of tomatoes cooking. I can't even describe the way it made me feel. I honestly could almost cry from smelling it. Smells definitely got to me but the tomatoes was the worst of the worst. Pregnanacy is not easy o. Yet we do it again and again LOL |
carmelily:Thank you Carmelily |

'disown the stubborn boy' or cope with his unusual behaviour simple.
